I was looking for a printer to print some custom size prints for me for a photography exhibit. I had originally started to look just for someone who could to the printing and figured I'd deal with matting/framing the weird sizes later on. I stumbled upon FavillePhoto purely by accident - but it was a happy accident. I reached out to them and received a response from John within hours. That impressed me right away. After exchanging emails with him about my needs, my timeframe, etc. I was confident that John and FavillePhoto would be able to provide me with what I needed for the show. I sent him my images, told him roughly what dimensions I had in mind, what mat and frame sizes I was thinking (and I had a strict size limitation due to the gallery criteria) and John came back with some very helpful feedback and suggestions. The customer service I received from Joh was outstanding. It disappoints me every day that customer service seems to be less and less important in general, when it's such an important part of any business transaction. I am always willing to pay a little bit more for better customer service - but the prices John quoted me were definitely competitive. I got great customer service AND competitive prices. It was a win-win situation for me! I ended up having John/FavillePhoto do the whole thing for me: print, mat, and frame. Once I received the final products, I was beyond impressed. The images look amazing, the mats are cut perfectly, and the frames are perfect and exactly as described and pictured (he sent me a photo of the frame he suggested for me). My only problem with FavillePhoto is that I live 3,000 miles away from them! If they were closer to me, they would absolutely be my go-to for ALL printing/matting/framing needs. As it is, I fully expect that I will use them for my more unique/custom requests because I know it will be well worth the cost to ship the products across the country! read more

We have used Faville Photo twice over the last 2 months, both times to have a custom sized photo printed. In my first email communication with John, I asked for his guidance in printing a 19"x19" dogwood blossom photo that my husband took. The size was very important as we were replacing a print in a frame that fit just perfectly over our fireplace. John responded to my inquiry immediately, had no difficulty meeting the size request and, after examining the digital file, gave excellent advice as to the best medium upon which to print. The enlargement was produced and sent quickly (we live in New Jersey), had excellent quality and the framed photo is now the focal point of our living room. In my second email communication with John, I asked for his guidance in printing a photo of a vista within Haleakala National Park in Hawaii. I knew how wide I wanted the photo (28") but did not know the corresponding height aspect. John had no difficulty calculating that for me, again making several expert printing recommendations. After communicating our decision to him, John processed our request and we received the photo today and, once again, it arrived quickly and is just beautifull! We cannot wait to have it framed and hung in our family room. I have been enlarging some of my photos to hang up as art for the past 15 years or so and had been using standard photo printing. I discovered Giclee printing in mid-2011. I learned that essentially it is more color pixels per square inch so the photos turn out richer and better defined (I am simplifying the explanation of the technology here!). I found two vendors online that offered Giclee printing. I decided to go with Faville Printing because their rates were more competitive and they had a great range of papers and other mediums such as Canvas. Once I placed the order, I also found out that the service is excellent. Very quick response time and fast shipping. Also, great advice on which medium will go better with which photos. The photos, with Faville's Giclee printing are just amazing. A huge improvement over the printing I was getting done using standard printing, and well worth the extra price. I will never use standard printing again for enlargements! read more

OUTSTANDING! Navigating through the giclee printers available in the Phoenix area can be a bit tricky when it comes to the (final) cost. Faville Photo make it very easy! I also appreciate that John and Jessica have their office in the front part of their home, passing on the savings of a high business rental, to the artist and are able to offer high quality at very, very reasonable prices! John patiently explained everything to me, all of my options and I felt my work would be reproduced as a high quality piece. Of course, it was! John not only took the time to answer all of my concerns, he offered me great marketing ideas as well, I felt like I should pay him! Now I'm all juiced up for future projects! I recently went to Yellowstone & took some pictures that I thought may be worthy of enlarging. I contacted John at Faville Photo & he printed two of my favorites (18x24). I wasn't sure how they would turn out since I've never had anything printed that large. John assured me he would look at them first & inform me if the resolution didn't warrant that size.
