Well. I really do hate to give any business a 1 star review - but on Yelp, 1 star means 'not good' and my last experience was definitely not good. Exterior Located in the Publix plaza at the corner of Macland and Powder Springs Rd. They're located at the corner of the plaza, so there's lots of parking but you do have to watch out for people coming around that corner at breakneck speeds. Like pretty much all UPS stores, the doors swing outward & there's no ADA push plate so if you're trying to enter with an armful of packages you are out of luck. Interior Bright, well-lit and small. Pretty much like all UPS stores. Customer Service After taking care of my Amazon returns, the young man assisting me interrupted 2 people at the computer to check for my print job. He asked me to confirm the address with the address listed on the laminated half sheet on the counter. I saw storeprint2280 - said Yes. I re-sent it. Also, turns out that the 2 people that I thought were customers were actually 1 customer and 1 associate. She had long braids, Rx eyeglasses and she was wearing a puffy black jacket (hence my thinking she was a customer). She shouted "it still hasn't come through!" I told her, "it's for me - I'm the customer." And she snapped, "I know, I was telling her." I thought shouting across the store - especially with us standing right there - was pretty unprofessional. While standing there awkwardly, I remembered that I'd received an email confirmation from the store. I told the other associate. He just shrugged. I checked the email address on the counter again - realized that the domain was "gmail.com" NOT "theupsstore.com" listed on the website, so I relayed this to another associate. She said, "Oh. Yeah. We don't use that one." So I forwarded it their gmail address. Next a young blonde associate with extremely long eyelashes comes over, opens the email & asks me if this is it. I say yes. She sends it to the printer. I ask her if she realized that it was tabloid paper, not letter & she said the printer will automatically select it. Job prints on tabloid paper, but it's B&W. Blonde associate sticks the B&W print job in the bin and tells associate with braids "it came out B&W" - then she walks toward the line of customers asking them if they have Amazon returns. The associate with braids comes over - sends print job again. On the screen's print preview, I can see that job is now split across multiple pages. I point this out & she says, "it just looks like that." She sends the job anyway and of course, it comes out on the wrong size paper, split across 4 pages. She drops them in the bin - scrolls back over - no acknowledgement that she was wrong, no apology - adjusts the settings and sends it again. At this point, I've been in the store for about 20 minutes. Price / Value My cousin mentioned that she'd used UPS (a store in Charleston, SC) instead of Office Depot or Staples to print some oversized images I'd designed for my Uncle & Aunt's 50th wedding anniversary. She said when she checked UPS was cheaper than OD or Staples, so I made a mental note to check their prices the next time I needed something printed. I should note here that my primary gig is IT Consulting, but I work part-time as a graphic designer. Most of my clients are fine with an electronic draft sent via email, but every now & then - someone will want to see a printed copy. I should also note that I have an excellent color laser jet printer that prints beautiful copies & I have two online companies that I outsource to if my clients need serious bulk printing (500 or more copies). I say all this to say - it's really rare that I need anything printed at a local place, so it's been a long time since I checked pricing. My color printer won't print 11 x 17 pages. I called UPS for a quote to print my draft. I was told that the price was $1.27 per page. When I got ready to check out, I'm told that the price is $1.27 + $1.27 + $2.50. I inquire about the $2.50 & I'm told that this is a computer usage fee. I tell them when I called this was not mentioned in the price quoted. Response is 'Yeah ..." with a grimace & a shoulder shrug. I tell them I'll get it printed at Office Depot and depart. Other While I was waiting on second email to transmit, I mentioned that the email listed on the website should probably be updated. Associate said there was nothing they could do, but I could tell the manager - gestured to the woman standing next to her. When the mgr finished with the task she was performing, she asked me how she could help and I repeated my suggestion. She kinda just shrugged and blew me off. I checked - and found out that no UPS store should be using a gmail account to receive documents from customers. Gmail is not secure and they specifically warn businesses to NOT use Gmail accounts in instances where customers might be sending information that's medically sensitive (protected by HIPAA) or documents with SSN#'s, birthdates, etc. read more

Friendly, quick service. Even during the holidays. Located in Macland Pointe shopping center, there is a Publix, Walgreens, Wendy's, a gym and more. And it's across the street from a Chick-Fil-A, a Starbucks, House of Lu, a Kroger, dry cleaner,m and nail salon. Great location! read more

As a Supreme Court Judge in Cobb County, Im sending this feedback so that you are aware of my experience and hoping that you are interested in providing optimum service to your customer. I came into this store at 6:30pm on Feb. 25, 2025. I asked for a box and gave approximate dimensions. I know what I need and felt that the employees did not understand courteous, friendly and efficient service to the customer. Maybe this is a new concept that they have never heard of. They seemed to almost want to talk me out of what I needed and tell me something different. I just needed a freaking box and not a hard time. I would highly recommend some custoner service training here and how to identify personality types and have customers leave with a good impression. I already reviews with low scores so I assume my experience wasn't an isolated issue. By the way, tell the gentleman who appeared to be a lead or supervisor that no, I have no intention of trying to return the box I bought, as I already told the staff that it would work for me, nor will I ever frequent this store again or recommend it. They charged $1.49 to put a piece of tape on my box. Ridiculous! Long line and surly staff.

I am usually pleased with ups stores and find them very convenient and reasonably priced. However, I was shocked to be charged $3.00 to print a quarter-page shipping label. I promptly left and printed my label at home. $1.00-$1.50 would have been acceptable, but more is robbery. Everyone was nice and pleasant enough, but I just don't like being hustled! They lost this sale and numerous others. read more

I sent them over a 1 page document to be printed out. The lady told me like $2.80 and I asked why it was so much. She then told me I was being charged for using the computer and 1 copy. I have used ups multiple times and never been charged for using the computer when I didn't even touch it. She went on to tell me that I was paying for her to use the computer on my behalf. I then asked for a supervision and she said "you don't need a supervisor because im the owner and if you have a problem with my prices then you can go else where". I assured her I would do so and she then charged me about .20 cent and I left and WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. She overcharges you, very rude attitude, and seems to be racist. read more

Every time i come into the UPS Store here the staff does what they can to help me out with my small business. I have to have a lot of things that need to be printed and shipped and even when I need help packing my items up the employees are always great to help me out on it. They handle their situations to the best of their abilities and always try to help customers out and even offer other services if they can't help with the situation. Everyone is super friendly, besides some customers that walk in, and very easy to talk to, which is a Home-Run for me. They will continue to be my helping hand for my small business and I encourage you to use them too! read more

I go to this UPS store at least once a week and every single time the customer service is amazing and I leave completely satisfied. Some days I'll need to send a package and be passing by another UPS store and instead of going into that one for convenience I will wait until I can go to this location. All of the employees know me and address me by my first name and every single one of them are very knowledgeable with printing and shipping. After 4 and a half years of going here not once have they ever not been able to help me and I will continue to go here. Even if I could ship my packages though the USPS for cheaper, I would still pay the extra so that I could have the customer service I receive when coming here. You'll get the same service too, I know because I hear it every time when they are helping others before me. read more

I have been a customer of the UPS store for almost 20 years. I had a PO Box at Larry's store over at 1000 Whitlock for years. I've never had a bad experience at that store. I moved to Powder Springs not too long ago and I've had the misfortune of having to visit this store on several occasions. I've never really been impressed with the store but it was what it was. Today, however, I went to the store with a box that was already packed up and just needed a piece of tape and a label. I advised them that the owner of the store (that I was sending the package to), had emailed me an overnight label and I asked if they could print it to put it on the box. I was informed that the owner charged two dollars to print the UPS label to put on a UPS box in a UPS store to be sent UPS overnight. I was shocked that somebody would be that greedy and money grubbing. I paid the fee and left the store and called Larry at 1000 Whitlock to ask him what he would charge me to print a UPS label to put on a UPS package and he responded "nothing". The owner of this store, DIPA NAIK, apparently feels like customers should be charged more to go to her UPS Store store so as a result I'll be taking my business back to Whitlock, where customers are respected and not taken advantage of. ------- Instead of apologizing, the mngr made excuses. You're a cheap penny pincher. Larrys store didn't charge me to print a label, you're just greedy. I'll never spend money in there again. That store is trash read more

I do a lot of shipping! Business wise as well as personal. The hours are great, you don't have to rush around to try to get there by 5. When you walk in your greeted by the staff who is ready to get your stuff packed up to ship. If your just dropping off it's hassle free. I've recently noticed they offer a ton of different services. I haven't had a chance to take advantage of any of them yet, but will update my post when I do. read more

Did not provide service as contracted, failed to fulfill their obligations. Mail has not been delivered as of today. Tracking was non existent. Please choose a location that will take pride in providing a service that you will pay for, not one that will only seek to obtain your payment and then leave you out to dry. read more

This store used to be great when it was owned by the previous owner, John! I went there last week and service has totally gone downhill. When I first walked in, I saw a female employee with her head laying on the counter as if she was asleep, and there was another male employee sitting on the counter playing games on his phone. The female proceeded to assist me but she was extremely rude the entire time. There was no please or thank you. When the transaction was over, I said thank you and she responded by saying "uh-huh". I don't think I will ever go back there. read more
