Flew in from NC just to go through some of parent items and pack what I could send back to NC. Chose this business to ship. Pack my items in packing paper wrapped in bubble wrapped and secured in a box with fragile tags on the outside. I was asked what was in the boxes, explained, told person that the items had sentimental value, insured for 499.00 per box. Cost me $105 to ship. Never was told or ADVISED that they needed to pack the items, that they wouldn't pay if damaged because they needed to have packed. NOTHING IN WRITING, NOTHING OFFERED TO SIGN. Box came to my home in NC damaged, every single item broke. I took pictures and video. When I called, I was told that I needed to file with FexEx who delievered the boxes, they denied the claim. Called them back and they wanted me to come in from NC with the broken items. I sent my sister who lives in the city with photos and video but they still didn't want to compensate for the damage items. No even giving the amount paid to insure. I filed with the BBB but yet they still would not pay for the damage. Their claim or should I say their defense was they did not pack it so they would not pay out the insurance amount. This was in May 2026. Today, 6/29/2026 I got the final email from BBB that this company will not do anything. So, I lost items that were in the family for 40 plus years. They are Immigrant Thieves....they kept money I paid to insure. There is more to this situation, but I just wanted to hit key points. I am hurt, but Vengeance is mine saith the Lord...Do not allow them to take your money and cheat you. Do not even use this place they are thieves and I know this as fact. I cannot replace the items which were porcelain Angels mom collected and were given to her throughout the years. If you have to use them, get your transaction in writing, make them sign something that if damaged they WILL make good on paying out the insurance you placed on your items. She wasn't pleasant so my box may have been damage before it even left the store. I've kept the box until a resolve was made, but now I have to toss for nothing is salvageable.
