I think I go to this UPS store at least once a month .most of the time they are cool, I get in and get out with the exception of when there is a long line. Today , I went in and it was not busy. I needed a lady to fax some paper work for me . She tried twice , the paper kept getting jammed so she tried a 3rd time . After she put the paper in the fax machine she got a phone call on her personal cell phone . Her phone was on the counter in front of me . She did not say anything to me , instead she picked her phone up , answered the phone , went behind the middle wall and proceeded to having her conversation. She never checked back in on me nor my paperwork that was in the fax machine . I waited . The other lady that was next to her register had just finished with a return , but she did not check on my paperwork nor acknowledge me either . So I waited another minute then asked the manager , who was standing on the other side of the wall across from the girl who was on her phone , if he could check to see if my paperwork had been faxed . The manager never apologized for the wait, he didn't really say anything to me . He just went and checked my paperwork, put it in the fax machine properly, then went by the girl who was on the phone and pulled his phone out to show her something ! I know this a lengthy review. But this is the second time my time hasn't been valued at this store . Coming from working in retail and also being a store manager I know good customer service . The workers there are very rude and always have a sarcastic tone when I call. I showed up a couple of times to check my mailbox for some returns that I get for my business which I rarely get. One of the female workers there says she will look for me because she never seen me before. She looked me up and down and wouldn't even let me check my own box. She then proceeded to continue to talk to her coworker, about how she never seen me before as if I was an intruder or something posing to be someone else. I called later because there had to be some sort of mistake with the items I was supposed to receiving in my box. Tracking showed it was dropped off, twice my items were not in my box which is fishy. I believe they were either stolen or put in the wrong box. The same girl that looked my up and down had a sarcastic tone with me when I called telling me no, I have nothing in my box then quickly hangs up on me. None of the workers there seem to be any older than mid 20s. They're all rude and sarcastic. Anyone of them I try to talk to to ask questions, they seem to be in a hurry and quickly get through my questions and tend to just quickly hang up on me. After my year is up I'm changing my ups location where there's actual professionals that work there and not some snotty brats that are not helpful at all. read more

I had a package that had been saying pending acceptance at this location for like 5 days. So before I called them, I called USPS & they said my tracking number belonged to UPS so I called & the girl right away said my tracking number didn't belong to them & I asked if she could look for it with my name or address & she said "I guessss" but of course right away she said nope, they don't have any package with my last name. She had asked me if I wanted the number to customer service & I brought it up & she said over me "okay bye". SO I CALLED AGAIN. But who does that?? This UPS store is on the small side. I have used this business numerous times to ship and for returning items from online shopping. Ample parking and usually easy to get in and out except with the occasional seasonal crowds like yesterday were I was standing in line outside for nearly 20 minutes waiting for the line to move, that's life (not always perfect). There is everything you need here- need a box for your stuff they got it, need tape they got it or if you need to make copies there is a few machines here to use. This store also has p.o boxes and sells decorative packaging and greeting cards. I come here or (The Mail Drop) another business here in Madera which both are good to use, I find it easier to go here though. I recommend getting the copy of your return receipt when sending anything back to have proof just in case your package does not make it to the destination. The associates at this location can use some training on customer service. They have a policy of only 3 customers to be inside the store at one time. We were asked to wait outside. I had no problem with that since he asked relatively nicely. We entered as one customer left. My issue is that he did not ask the customer who entered after me to step out. Another thing where they can work on their customer service is to acknowledge the customers when they enter the store. And there was one girl helping a customer who had a RBF the entire time she was helping that customer. I definitely did not feel welcomed in this location. And all we needed to do was drop off a package for someone that doesn't even live at our residence. read more

Today I ran in on my lunch hour. And the lady that was working was extremely rude! There was about 6 of us in line and she yells if your not on a blue circle get on one then you'll be helped, then an older man was at the counter wanting to get a mail key and she yells do you have a key or not and he said then she tells him that's not my problem. Hello Im writing this in regards to one of your employees at the Madera CA location. I wanted to see how I would go about reporting one of your managers Jorge. Everytime i have to go to UPS he is extremely rude to me to the point he's lied to me to deny me services. Ive had to start using the UPS in Fresno location to get my live scan and passport photo taken. He also has been overly inserting himself into my personal life to the point where I feel harassed. My boyfriend has a PO Box at the Madera location and he is always telling him things about me. Which is how i found out he lied about "being out of photo ink and unable to take my passport and do my livescan." This is very unprofessional of your employees and especially if he is your management? I honestly feel like he's doing this to harass me because I am gay. I have been going to the UPS store at this location for about two years now on a regular basis. Most of the time it's a very long line and I know the workers are doing the best they can to minimize the long line. At the same time they remain professional and tend to everybody's needs. Both my wife and I either have to drop off packages or print labels to put on our packages that we are shipping out. I will continue to do business at this location. read more

I wish I could give two amount of stars. I am so upset at the way the manager Ashley treats her coworkers! She was rude and combative during a time the store was full of customers. I would never allow someone to talk to me the way she talks to her employees. I went back to lodge a complaint with the manager only to find out she's the manager! So if you plan on printing make sure you know they charge you double if its double sided. There policy isnt so much per print, which is the way it was explained when i called prior to coming in. I'm shocked there are no reviews from this store. Beware when shipping. They do not honor your guarantee. If you ship a package overnight and pay 30 it probably cost the store 15 to 20 dollars. Yes they surcharge ups price. That is ok as long as they honor the entire refund if the package doesn't arrive. Even if it is their fault the package didn't arrive. They will only refund you the 15 to 20 that was the UPS charge. I shipped an envelope overnight. They told me it would be there next day. It didn't arrive. I called the store and found out they did not put my package in the right location in the store for UPS pickup. I said no problem I'll call the receiver and let them know. I wasn't too upset knowing I would get a refund. When I went in for the refund they only honored 1/2 of my cost because that was UPS charges. I asked to speak to the manager and all they would give was a phone number. I called and the owner/manager told me their policy. Even if they make the mistake they only give you half. I called the UPS stor HQ and they were also rude. They ended up giving the complete refund after a lot of hassle. Buyer beware. Know they don't honor UPS guarantees. read more

Rude ass white lady with short blonde hair in the front doesn't acknowledge customers when they walk in. She just continued doing what she was doing while people are waiting not even a "I'll be with you in a minute". With making amazon returns I usually just drop off with a code and I'm able to leave but she made me purchase 4 huge ass boxes for 4 different coloring books when I received them by amazon in ONE box. I mailed a package on December 13th but it got lost. The manager said she would file a claim and that it would take 7 to 10 days to process. She even told me shew would add $20 to my claim for all my troubles. Well on 1-15-2021 I still hadn't heard anything. I called the manager and now she says it takes 3 months. I called customer service and was informed the check would be arriving in approximately 10 days minus the $20. When I spoke to the manager she she has nothing to do with what they pay out. Thats not what she originally told me. She exaggerated and or lied through all this. Plus when I mailed the packed again at another location it was half of what they charged. Ill never go back. The staff were all wearing masks. They were friendly. I was not asked to provide boxes or labels. The entire visit could not have lasted for more than two minutes. As a UPS Employee I feel as the associates here get hired just because they need people filling up the spot. My mom went in to mail me a package, and she couldn't have the package be mailed out from me to me? For some reason the sender can't be the recipient? Very disappointing to have attempted to drop off a pre-label shipment. Obviously understaffed and the employee proudly proclaimed she liked being understaffed. It might be nice for the employee, but has a busy businessman, I don't have time to wait in a line that is out the door. I was told, not asked to wait in line. Although I was appropriately packaged and labeled for a drop off require no further assistance as to place the packages (2) on the floor. I quit using this location for the lack of professionalism and continual chaos this location seems to enjoy. UPS has a history of poor customer service, but when that attitude trickles down to local outlets it is twice as frustrating. There is an Office Depot due west about a half of black that provides shipping services, I would recommend using them. They seem to be a little more attentive. read more

I use the Madera UPS store regularly for my business: I send and receive mail and packages here, use their copying and scanning services, and have confidential documents shredded. I visit the store multiple times a month, and often have several packages to mail at one time. The staff here are always pleasant and professional to work with and always go above and beyond in providing me with the help I need. I've noticed at times, especially when its crowded and during the height of COVID, that some customers were unwilling to follow the posted directions to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Occasionally I observed staff to ask for compliance and they always did so with courtesy, although customers did not always respond with courtesy in return. I've also experienced customers in front of me appear unprepared with addresses, etc. I've observed staff dealing with the situation with courtesy. I emphasize courtesy in my review because I noticed earlier reviews spoke of rudeness on the part of staff. As a regular customer of the Madera UPS store, that has certainly not been my experience. Its always a pleasure dealing with the folks who work at this location. read more

I'll begin by saying that this store gets one star because it's compulsory. First, the employee was over fifteen minutes late arriving to work. Second, when she opened the door to let the other employee in the store, she informed us that she would need additional time to open the store. She was rude and did not apologize for being late.
