I've had fast & efficient service here before, but clearly the very nice people who used to work here have moved on... and this past experience has me NEVER wanting to return. Despite being walking distance to my home, I'd rather drive somewhere than deal with these rude, unhelpful people ever again. Rule #1 of customer service: Ignoring your guests/customers will never end well. Rule #2, being rude won't help matters. I came in for what I thought would be a very simple Amazon return. When I walked in, I was not acknowledged whatsoever... No hello, or "I'll be right with you" or even eye contact. Instead, I was ignored for 15+ minutes, while the girl at the counter (African American woman) dealt with a woman with 15-20 packages to ship, who clearly wasn't ready and had a laptop on the counter figuring everything out. I could have easily been helped and on my way during that entire time but no. Not even as much as an acknowledgment to my presence. In fact, the first words out of her mouth weren't "hello, how may I assist you?"... it was: "You can do your Amazon return over there" as she gestured me over to a kiosk. I went over, immediately pressed the wrong option and was trying to figure out how to go back and the clerk kept yelling from behind the desk, "JUST SCAN YOUR PHONE" and "YOU HAVEN'T PRESSED ANYTHING!" I finally figured out how to get to the next step and the kiosk immediately referred me back to an employee for help. So back to the counter I went and was further ignored until rude employee #2 (guy w/dark hair and glasses) emerged from the back. I remember the days when an Amazon return was a simple scan of a QR code, you hand them the package, get a receipt and are on your way. Well, apparently no more. Now, you need to search for a link in your email, email it to the store and be charged $1.69 for printing out the label for your "free return." Then the guy asked if I wanted to purchase a box and I asked, "do I need to?" and he said yeah. Well then, why bother asking me if I wanted it, if I NEEDED it?! Exasperated, I reached for a nearby shipping envelope, when the guy snapped at me that he had an envelope and didn't need to take one from there. I paid, they guy handed me my receipt with no words, only an attitude, and I left (20 minutes later) with an equally annoyed attitude and late for work. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Despite the negative comment mentioned below, my experience retrieving mail and packages at this location has been nothing but pleasant for over two years. I'm consistently greeted with friendly smiles and quick hellos, which I appreciate since I'm often on the go. The staff has been very helpful, especially with Amazon package returns. read more

DO NOT HAVE YOUR PACKAGE DELIVERED HERE. The lady who works on Wednesday afternoon is extremely unhelpful and seems to know nothing. When I asked for help retrieving my package, her response was: "I don't know anything about that, I can't do anything." The customer service here is terrible. She was rude and clearly unwilling to assist. The first time I went to the location, I was greeted with an unpleasant attitude and no help. When I followed up with a phone call about my package, I ended up speaking with the same lady again -- and her response to every question was, "I don't know." Lazy, unprofessional, and no help. I was there this morning sitting out front since 7am. They were supposed to open at 8:30am. Nobody ever showed up and it was after 9am when I left to go to another one. I was so pissed off this morning! And watched several other people come by with packages and were just as mad as I was! It was ridiculous! There's no parking out front either. Everybody just parks their car in the red. This store is a waste of time! Close it down! And fire people! I had a medical appt this morning. If it wouldn't have been for the other store being close by, I would have missed my doctor appt. No thanks to this store. If the people don't want to work. Easiest UPS store in DTLA. Quick, painless and clean. If you're driving and have to temporarily park on the curb, it's pretty ample. However, be careful of the bus lane as the bus drivers hate it and honk when you come into their lane. Like man, you're way beyond me! I shipped 8 boxes two separate times within the same day . Jason was kind and informative. The manager was kind as well. This is the best location in DTLA. Ive been going to this location for 2-3 years now, and about 3-5 times a week. I only go to this location out of convenience , that's it! By far the worstttt UPS store location ever! I really hope The owner reads my review since I know these are all independently owned franchises. The staff here are extremely unprofessional and rude. They don't know how to smile, and even for that quick five minutes that I'm there to drop off an Amazon return, I feel like the life is sucked out of me due to their nasty energy. I don't want to criticize anybody about their looks, but that doesn't help either since it looks like several of their male employees don't know what a comb is. They look very sloppy and just straight out rude who don't know anything about customer service. I can't recall any other establishment that has these types of workers. One time I was there at 7:02 PM, just two minutes after their closing, and they saw I had tons of boxes, and they just nodded their head that they're closed. How pathetic is that right? Lol. Well it's these types of kids, most likely they are 18 to 22 year olds that do sub par work, get off on having some type of " authority " over the customer and end up slumming through life and demanding higher wages. My post is not an over exaggeration, you can go there any Time of day, and you will encounter such employees. Except the owner, I think it was the owner, who was very nice and pleasant to deal with. This UPS Store is located across the street from the Convention Center (West Wing). The store is located on the ground floor street level in a condominium complex. So nice to have a second UPS Store in the USC/DTLA area. -Friendly and helpful customer service -Free parking behind the building. Enter from the alley. -They can scan your UPS mobile barcode and print a UPS return shipping label. Very convenient UPS service. Best part, they are one of the few UPS Store that opens on Sundays!! read more

Just avoid this UPS store if you can. The customer service here is just so incompetent and unprofessional that it's not worth your energy. I feel like they are just thinking of ways to tell you no rather than thinking of ways to be of service. Hopefully the owners here eventually want better for their company and release these workers who don't care about their customers which is the same thing as not caring about their business. This review is only for 1 person. Everyone else is great but this person. I live on the other side of the block, so, I'm very family with this location. I was moving and I needed a mailbox. I understand their protocol, it's not that I don't understand it, but it's how this woman makes me that I'm stupid. She's very authoritative! This is not my first interaction with her. She's a Latin decent with shoulder length hair and heavy set. I'm still in the store and she's talking crap about me. I know she said crap about me because I can see the other girl looking at me. You try so hard to be nice, but this person is just miserable and she think so highly of herself because you needed something. Get another job if you don't want to help customers. read more

I paid $100 to ship an item overnight from this location to another state. The item arrived 5 days later. I called the store to process a refund and they told me the "manager was busy and would call me back." I followed up with customer service a week or so later and they hadn't received a claim from the store. I called the store back, at this point for the 3rd time, and was told the manager would call me back. The manager still didn't call back so I called again and was told the manager has taken care of it. Another week or so went by and I followed up again with customer service and was told that no claim had been filed for me, and the UPS customer service rep had me call this store on 3-way to try to talk to someone because they couldn't get through on their own. I was told again that the manager would call me back. That was at least two weeks ago and I still haven't received a call back. I called customer service and was transferred to five different departments and received zero resolutions. I didn't find out until today through an automated system that after 15 days they won't issue a refund, which explains why the store ignore me every time I called. Their system and unprofessional and ridiculous. I never overnighted an item before this and Ithought highly of UPS before this experience. You pay upfront for a service they gaurantee and then you're left on your own to do all the work when they don't fulfill their end. I guess that $100 was worth losing a long-time customer and my network of people across the U.S. as well as diminishing the standard to which I held this company before.
