BEWARE . I brought a package to be shipped , It was an Amazon purchase. I brought the package to the UPS store in Liverpool, New York with a pre-printed label, The associate took the package and gave me a receipt that said 00 pounds on it. The tracking number was a different tracking number. The package shows never leaving store. Beware of this location and check your shipping label tracking number Matches your receipt tracking number. I have taken returns from Amazon to UPS store in Liverpool, NY several times in the past, and for the most part have been satisfactory. However the past several times I have encountered rude staff standing around doing nothing. I have taken returns to return counter only to be told to take the return over there (a table on oposite end of store). So now I have to print a return, place item in clear plastic bag, and fold over end of plastic bag and afix label to bag. What the hell are these worthless people being paid to do. Secondly, we have had a lot of snow this winter. On 3 different occasions the sidewalks haven't even been shovelled and salted, and yet young women acting bored and doing nothing. If I ran this store the whole lot of them would be fired on the spot. Needless to say, my dealings with UPS stores are over. read more

in the past part of the customer service for UPS was if you brought a return with a label they would package it and mail it. I guess unbeknownst to customers they have changed their ruling and you have to put your return in a box with the label on it like anyone would for other mailing stores such as FedEx or USPS. This would t have been an issue if I didn't drive out of my way to go to the UPS store to return something- which I have done for years. There is no notice in or outside of the store to indicate this change. No need to give my business to UPS anymore I would rather give it to USPS or FEDEX instead. At least I know what I am getting upfront without surprises. read more

This will be the third time I have gone into the Rte. 57 UPS Store and walked back out without accomplishing my task. Each time I have gone in there with a return for an order I had placed with a vendor. Packed just as it came to me with the UPS return label affixed as it should be and told: "We can't take that"! Exactly every time. None of these times have I even made it to the counter. Someone comes out into the lobby area and confronts you with "can I see your package" and grabs it from you. Then asks one of the people behind the counter if the package is okay to send and I get "we can't take that". This most recent time was today. Had a box delivered to me with products that I didn't like. Submitted a return with the company, they provided me a shipping label and packed it as it came shipped to me. NOPE; "we can't take that". Not only does this place refuse my packages, but there are usually 2-3 people standing around while there is a line. The woman whom I think might be a manager was standing there looking at her phone. She's the one that rudely said "we can't take that". I've had it with this place. I will never go back. The UPS man that comes to our office will gladly take the package for me. read more

I had boxed nonfunctional Verizon equipment in a white and red cardboard former wine box with a UPS Ground pre-paid return service label to be sent from this location. The unfriendly young lady at the desk told me that she could not ship it because it was a liquor box. When I told her the contents were not liquor, she said that didn't matter. I then asked if I could obscure with tape the wine labels on the box and she said 'no' because it was a liquor box. I would like to know why, if all the liquor information is totally obscured with duct tape, I cannot mail this box!!! Is it somehow illegal??!! Who would know that it once contained liquor bottles unless they removed the tape??? read more

Tried to send an important envelope. They lost it and would not reimburse the shipping fees. I submitted a claim and the final result after 3 months was a reimbursement of 2/3 the fee. Very discouraging. Use the USPS. read more

TL;DR... Way too creepy needing a driver's license to send a package as well as nosy about what I was sending. I stopped in at this ups store without hesitation because I've come to trust UPS with my packages. This time I needed to send a set of keys to a friend of mine, nothing fancy, just two metal keys and a brief note. Upon arrival I was greeted and asked if I'd ever been there before. I said no, not to this location. I was then asked for my driver's license. I did mention how that felt a little like big brother watching but complied anyway thinking it was for the return address. I do have an out of state license right now, and she pressed me for a local one but I resisted and said to just go with my driver's license address. (That address would eventually get me if needed) I was then asked what exactly am I sending... Does anyone see a trend here? I started to get creeped out by all these questions. I'm just trying to send a set of keys out of state. After I was quoted $50 to send these to AZ from NY, I had enough. I politely said I would find different arrangements and left. I drove directly to the US Post Office in Baldwinsville. For less than $8, they provided the envelope and better service than the UPS store and it will arrive sooner for a way cheaper price. read more

Poor customer service. Package was damaged (but repairable) en route and then returned to me. I didn't have enough insurance on it but was told by management at the store that I could only collect partial insurance and take a total loss (they keep the item) or take nothing and retrieve my broken item. So in the end I've ended up paying them to break my item and return it to me... I could have had my 2 year old nephew do that for free! Last thing management said to me was take it or leave it nothing left to be said. Note: nothing in this review was false. I was the receiver and I have all the emails to prove the seller was treated poorly by Gerrit. I also spoke with him on the phone about this. read more

My son shipped a (1) golf club he sold on ebay and was charged $88 to pack and ship it to Texas. When I went back and talked with the manager and let him know that FedEx and the post office both quoted under $20, he stated what was charged was correct. I shipped a package via UPS 2nd day air and was told by a young gentleman on tuesday afternoon 11/26/19 that it would be guaranteed to my destination by friday 11/29. It was my son's birthday on thursday, thanksgiving so I said that would be ok and i paid the extra $83 to have it sent. HE NEVER told me it was conditional. I went to the UPS store on Saturday 11/30/19 to request a refund and was met by Christine who immediately gave me an attitude. She told me I wouldn't be given a refund and proceeded to raise her voice at me in front of other customers when I protested the act of god reason she was trying to give as the reason. I told her that I was Never told weather or otherwise would affect a refund and that UPS should not say 2nd day air is Guaranteed if they can't make good on their word. I also informed her that she shouldn't be working in customer service with her attitude. I was told my package was GUARANTEED, period. The rudeness of this store's staff member is not a good look for UPS that's for sure. She didn't even fill out a claim form for me. If I had wanted my son's birthday gift to arrive in december I wouldn't have bothered paying for 2nd day air. I will never do business up there again with false advertising and rude employees. read more

I ordered a package about a week ago and it was originally supposed to come on Tuesday some problems happened with Amazon and the date was set back to Friday. It was supposed to be delivered by 8pm. No where on any of the confirmations or tracking said I had to be home for the delivery. I have ordered stuff before and they have left it. This package was for a wedding tomorrow (Saturday). UPS did not leave the package but instead said they would try again Monday. The wedding is 5 hours away from where I live and the package is 10+ pounds. I needed it today to bring for the wedding. But they said I could not even go to holding to pick it up in person. Instead they told me that I wouldn't be contacted until tomorrow after I leave to get to the place. I tried changing the address, but they said only Amazon could do that. This whole experience has been awful. read more

Parking is confusing, there are clear yellow drop off lines in a semicircle in an indented area in front of the building. Yesterday a Sherriff was passing out fire lane violation tickets. Yes there are signs posted on pillars (not sign posts), I never saw the signs (yes my bad). If you cannot drop off heavy packages in the drop off area clearly designed to do so, why would you ever go there again. There appeared to be no carts inside to borrow to bring packages across the parking lot which is further away from the building because of the indented drop off lane that apparently is a fire lane. read more

Went into the store to drop off a very small package I had already wrapped to be returned to Amazon by UPS. It should take less than 30 seconds to do this. You hand the package to the clerk, they print out a return receipt and you are on you way. They don't have to ask questions and you don't have to fill anything out. There was a woman who was behind the counter not doing anything. I asked if she could take the return item and print me out a return receipt. She said she was going to pack some items for someone and I would have to wait. The items she was going to pack were right on the counter. Glassware. This would take a long time to pack. I thought just quickly taking my return (multi tasking) would be a fair way to handle the situation so I did not have to wait until the glassware was all packed. When I explained I only wanted to drop something off, the employee went off on me and called me rude and was actually shouting it aloud..more than once! I was embarrassed and confused and quite frankly intimidated by this employee. If this kind of behavior by the employee went on with other employees it could constitute a hostile work place. To do so to a customer constitutes a hostile employee experience. Avoid this store at all costs. read more
