Update in response to owner: This was not an Amazon return. This was a pre-purchased UPS label for an item that I sold on Mercari. I had packaged the item securely in a poly mailer. The employee argued with me that I needed a poly mailer. I told her that the item was literally already in a poly mailer. I did not ask for a mailer for free. I asked to take my package back after I was informed that I needed to make a purchase, and I was told it was too late. The employee should have informed me that I needed to make a purchase before scanning my item. I also find it hard to believe there is no way to cancel a scan. Upon delivery, the recipient informed me that the item was received only in the new mailer, so the employee opened my package and removed my items without my consent. There is no way that this had anything to do with Amazon rules, since it wasn't an Amazon return or shipment. The owner's excuses make no sense, and definitely do not excuse the employee's behavior, and bullying a customer into buying an unnecessary item. read more

If I could give this UPS Store zero stars, I would. My experience here was not just frustrating--it was downright infuriating, and the way the owner handled the situation was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. On February 17th, I came in to ship a USPS flat rate package. Instead of being able to ship it as intended, I was told it would be cheaper to send it via UPS Ground. Trusting the information I was given, I went ahead with the shipment--only to get home and discover that the USPS flat rate would have been $23.60, and I had been charged over $46.00. DOUBLE the cost. Naturally, I returned to the store on February 28th to ask for a refund or, at the very least, an explanation. The owner, who has supposedly owned this store for 27 years, told me he would "get back to me" by March 3rd. That day came and went with no call, no email, nothing. It wasn't until I reached out again on March 7th that I finally heard from him--and even then, it was only after I made it clear I would be leaving a negative Google review that he suddenly had time to respond. Honestly, I don't believe he ever intended to refund me or follow up. He was hoping I'd forget or give up. At this point, it's not even about the money. It's about the principle. This man has been running this store for decades, and knowing that he's willing to take advantage of people in our neighborhood--especially by upselling services under the guise of being "cheaper"--is disgusting. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. This store does not care about honesty, transparency, or its customers. every time I enter this store I get myself prepared for a disappointment. I've had problems in the past but decided to forgive and forget. I'm returning a product that requires me to send back UPS. I enter the store (they advertise printing) I have the product being returned in its original packaging, I show the per behind the counter my phone with the authorization number and code. Sh then tells me I have to print the label (advised on door) and purchase a shipping box. I laughed and walked out. Every time I walk in this store it cost me more money than expected. read more

I had a return to make and this UPS location was the closest. The instructions I received in my email were to take the item to the store, show the barcode for scanning, and the store would package and label the item for you. I showed my barcode, he scanned it, and said I would have to buy the mailer to send it in because he doesn't provide that. I showed him the email twice and he said I had to pay for it. I paid $2 to send my "free return" item back. I felt like I had no other choice since he had already scanned my barcode. I would not recommend this place since they do not follow the instructions given by the return policy. All of this was taking place as he was telling a "regular" customer to pick out two more greeting cards and he would give them to her for free. When I was going to go to leave the store she started lowering the price. Pretty unethical and disappointing. I'll never visit this location again. These guys will try to nickle and dime you and even barter with you when you're just trying to mail a package. Sean was assisting me - I said I wanted standard shipping and he pushed 3-day which was almost double the price as standard. I said no. He said he would give me 5% off. I said no again... I want standard. He asked the value of the package. I said under $100. He said "how about $150?"... NO, I SAID UNDER $100. The price obviously goes up when the declared value is over $100. Sean hands me the paper to sign and he had put the value at "$101" to basically steal money from me. Unbelievable. I was just ready to get out of there so I signed the paper, paid, and left. I really like this store compared to the USPS up the road. I run a small business and usually have boxes coming and going every day. I have never had to wait more than 5 mins to have them scan my QRL code and send me on my way. At USPS I average 30 minutes in line to accomplish the same thing. The owners are very nice and helpful! My only concern is sometimes my phone loses service inside the store and I can't pull my QRL up. But I don't think that's their fault, probably the app or my phone. Keep up the good work! read more

We took a package in today to be mailed. They told us the cheapest price was right at $60.00. We thought that was too high for the size and weight of the package so we decided to see what another UPS store would cost. We went to the one on Pierce and CoalMine and the cost to mail the exact same package was right at $40.00. This is the 3rd time we have gotten a MUCH better price at another UPS store or just the post office. He will try to tell you the post office will be much higher, but it never has been.
