I am not pleased how careless this worker is. I specifically set up a chair for it to be placed on, and he/she just put on the ground on top of a little trash box full of bathroom gunk from the sink, and a recycled soda can I used for an ash trey. It's unbelievable, I wouldn't mind if that worker placed it on the floor with all that blank spot, where you can easily see so much room to put it on. The woman I spoke with said yes and assured me it would get printed but may take 24 hours. I called back 2 days later and it wasn't printed. I sent another email with clear instructions again. Called back two days later and ANOTHER employee answered, had no idea what I was talking about. I had to reply AGAIN with the instructions that were written in the email only for the employee to give me excuses, no apologies, and then HUNG UP WHILE I was talking. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. I ain't gonna lie to you............I probably know where all the UPS stores are on the Big Island, Maui, & Kauai. Why would Bruddah Fran know this???? Because every time I work on the neighbor islands (doesn't matter which island), whenever I have to bring parts to fix a machine, when it's time to have to ship back the broken parts to the mainland, I find it very efficient to just dump off my package at a UPS Store, instead of lugging it back with me to Oahu via Hawaiian Airlines. Sometimes when I travel I have to take a lot of gear with me, and it makes it so much sense to travel back to Oahu with less gear. This particular UPS Store is located in Lihue, at the Kukui Grove Shopping Center. You can't miss it, as it's just next door from the "Ross Dress for Less" in Lihue. Since the UPS Store is located in a major mall on Kauai, there are no issues with access, or even trying to find parking. Service here is efficient, as the clerks here will process you package in no time! Just walk in, drop off your box, and the clerk will give you a receipt, and off you go! Aloha I went into the ups store today One of my returns needed a bag and I didn't have one she said it will be 2$ for a bag I told ok I need to go get my money then when I got back she said 3$ because it didn't fit in a small bag, I didn't want to pay the 3$ so she took my product out of the bag totally destroyed the plastic bag taking my product out. she wasted 3$ lol never seen that happened before. The staff was bit unhelpful addressing one at a time to notarize. The customer ahead of us somehow a local, had over 100;s of documents to copy. I wonder just why the staff has to copy each document, not even through the feeder, which held up her time from notarizing. After 15 minutes of waiting outside, the manager finally came out to tell us she will be taking much longer! Why would 1 person hold up businees when all we needed was 5 minutes to notarize a document along with 2 others behind us?. Could they just pause every 15 minutes from the 100's of copies in order to better balance the customers time and needs? Instead they sent us to any where else on the island instead of pausing from the 100's of copies that seemed to take an entire afternoon. UPS needs to train customer service and maybe limit the time at the counter to 10 minutes when there are many waiting outside. Covid is such a terrible excuse when humans can be more efficient amongs their own actions. This is like a government job, no urgency and no customer service at all. I better stick with Fed Ex but there are none on the island! Help read more

Great place from which to ship those 'extra' items Once again we visited Hawaii and once again by the time we were ready to leave Kauai (well...more accurately had to leave Kauai) we had accumulated too much stuff to have it all fit in our luggage. So once again we went to the Kaumualii UPS Store and once again were very happy with the service and value. I had a horrible experience with this UPS Store. In March 2020, I knew I was moving from Maui to Kauai, so I tried to setup mail at this location before I arrived. I stole to the Kahului store and called them. My father actually did too. They had his name on file and my name on file (which is apparently a list of people that are expecting mail). However, they still dropped the ball. Before my unemployment insurance letter arrived I told them to expect it. I talked to them a second time on the phone in Kauai. They said they would call me when it arrived and they never did. They called my dad and he contacted me and said the letter arrived and they will keep it until Friday. However, I called them on Thursday and it was gone. They sent it back to the sender. This dumb act caused the government to do a 13-week investigation and they paused my benefits. I was living in self-quarantine for 100 days after arriving in Kauai, but I returned to living on the street in mid-July. When and if I would receive my benefits was unbeknownst to me between mid-June and mid-September and it was their fault. I gave this company two stars because after I started living in Lihue in mid-July, they were friendly and cordial in person and did not make any more errors. I had to use their service a couple of times and I paid them $5 per package or I would have given them one star. For what it's worth I had conversations via email with UPS Store and their management. They expressed some concern and regret, but whether or not they will become more professional and improve is anybody's guess. If you need to send or receive mail, I would avoid this place if at all possible. One package that arrived for me had broken glass in it. I can't prove they did it, but I can't prove they didn't do it. They returned it to the sender for me before I opened it or even left with it. read more

He packed my package and help me to my car, since my car was a ford mustang my box wasn't going to fit in the car. The have all the normal mailing, copying, scanning, and packaging services here but this UPS store has Joel, Hoku, Chrissy, and Kaina whom always go above and beyond to help us with our mailing and packaging needs. Like any business you're only as good as your services and your customer service. This UPS store is phenomenal at both. Centrally located, and with a staff that continues to impress with their genuine Aloha Spirit and enthusiasm for helping customers. On multiple occasions I have witnessed them go above and beyond to help customers. Today I literally watched one of the staff leave the store and run down the street (with a smile that never let his face) after another customer to return something that person had forgotten in the store. It says a lot that I am willing to travel an additional 10-miles further then the UPS store near my home to do my mailing and shipping business with this staff...and always leave with a smile on my face with the feeling that like so many others I am a considered a valued customer. If you need shipping services or a private mail box, I completely recommend this UPS store and it fantastic staff. You can't go wrong! read more
