I've always had great service here. Not sure why the bad reviews. The other day I broke my foot and parked in front of the store and asked if they could come out and take my package. They did so right away, were very nice and came back promptly with my receipt. read more

I dropped off my item for an Amazon return here. My Amazon account shows that my return was not dropped off, even though it was. The rude man on the phone said: "You have your receipt. Call Amazon." and proceeded to lecture me on how Amazon is unreliable with how returns are done. This isn't true as I have been returning items for years and never had a problem. I called YOU because I dropped it off at YOUR store. YOU took possession of it. That is why I called YOU instead of Amazon. Your rudeness was uncalled for. Treat your customers better. read more

I have asked the manager of this store, several times over the last several months, to resolve a very simple problem for me. I no longer receive an email confirmation of my package drop off (with the tracking number) . Should not be a huge deal to resolve, right? Perhaps a few calls from this UPS store to corporate, or perhaps even some competent in-store service could solve this issue pretty quickly. Keep dreaming I guess. Incompetence is one thing though. That I am intimately familiar with and find forgivable. My problem with this store is the jagoff manager and his rudeness. I called the manager this morning to request his help resolving this issue. He told me he'd look into the issue and requested I call back within the hour if the problem wasn't resolved . I did call back because he was unable to resolve the issue. During this call he told me point blank that he'd rather not speak to me again. I'm moving my business to FedEx. read more

Every single time I have gone there, which has only been 4 times, it is always someone rude and non-professional working the counter with an attitude of being bothered to do their job. Worst UPS store I have ever had to deal with. read more

Thank you Ben for saving me a trip back and helping to send back a return to Amazon. What a pleasant surprise, how nice to find a business so willing to help and caring enough to make my day. Thank you for taking the time so I wouldn't have to. read more

The gentleman at the counter put his hand in my purse and stared moving things around to see what else I had to return. This was completely rude and caught me off guard. I've never had someone I didn't know start rummaging in my purse, in front of me! Completely appalled. I didn't even finish my transactions, I was so shocked, I just left. The transactions, the service, value were all mute after this invasion of privacy and lack of respect. read more

The UPS Store - Store I visited - Printing Services Near Me - Libertyville, Illinois

I've shipped multiple packages recently last minute and received the best help. Everyone was knowledgeable and efficient.

The staff at the Libertyville UPS location is always friendly and professional. Recently when I was in a bind and under a deadline Ben Thackston went above and beyond the call and was able to help me get things sorted. Always my first choice when looking for a packaging and shipping resource. Thanks Jim read more

Needed to return something and the kindest, funniest guy helped me and made my day. Very quick and easy!

This is the best ups store around! Ben gets the job done. I've never had any complaints or issues.

We shop lots online and have occasional returns. And we ship gifts out of state. The staff this store are always helpful efficient and friendly! read more

Today I went to get two documents notarized at this location and I had an awful experience. Ben, the notary, questioned my identity and didn't believe that my drivers license was mine because my signature didn't look enough like the one on my license. Then, he almost refused to notarize my document simply because my name was not on that specific page of the document when my name was listed multiple times on the other two pages of the document. He was very rude and I would not recommend him. read more

I take for granted what a great store this is! Every time I go in the people are very friendly, have a big smile on their faces and go above and beyond to be helpful. It's always a quick in-and-out even during the holidays! Keep up the great work! I appreciate you! read more

I'm not surprised this store has a low star rating. I attempted to return an Amazon package, key word attempted. I needed a bit of tape to seal the box. Mind you, I've gone to multiple ups locations, with a box still open, and they had no problem taking it up. Most of the time they just took the box, put it in back, and handed me a receipt. With the rise in gas prices, perhaps they're now trying to save a few cents. The young lady "lady" helping me, was rather rude. While working at a large business perhaps you don't refer to me as "man" rather sir. Food for thought. Terrible location, terrible customer service. read more

I had a negative experience with Ben this afternoon. I can in to have a paper notarize after speaking to him on the phone. Upon arriving there he asked me if I had a photo ID which I did not as I just received a ticket last week. Although I did have a copy of my DL on my phone for him to see. He proceeded to ask me if I had a passport. Now seriously who carries their passport with them? I took an Uber there being my car was in for service and had to get this notarized today. Not only was the Uber expensive to and from the UPS Ben was not accommodating to my situation. There was a need of urgency in this situation and he said "I should of told you over the phone to bring a photo ID". Yes, Ben you should have have you could have saved me $30 and allot of aggravation! I would not recommend this UPS location nor Ben! read more

Horribly rude owner who felt the need to tell me I was "making a f***ing mess of my return " This has always been our go to place to return packages, but I will never step foot in the store again ! read more

I am shocked by the number of negative comments re this UPS store. I have always found them to be friendly, cooperative and helpful. They have shipped extremely fragile items for us several times and everything has arrived safely. This is my "go to" store when I prefer to have an expert do the packing. In fact, I'm heading there again today! Truthfully, I would be happy to recommend them to anyone!!! read more

Always friendly and quick to help whenever I'm coming in with my local business packages. I think people can be quick to leave a bad review when they feel entitled to special service, but I'm treated great every time I walk through the door. Ben and everyone else working there are great! read more

Always great customer service and shipments always arrive on time and in perfect condition.

I have been going to this store for quite sometime. Always hate walking in. The upfront employees are rude, talk over you and basically treat the customer awful. How about a good morning, how can I help you? Instead you get the feeling that they would rather you not come into the store. I don't post often but feel the owners need to get the upfront employees some training. It is just brutal. Customer service is non existent. Let's fix the issues. There are many negative post on the same topic. Why is that? read more

This is my go-to UPS Store for everything they can do! The help is great and everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Everything from simply dropping off a package to completely custom printing...they are always terrific. I've seen the care they all take with packaging and it's impressive. I've had them do business printing and printing for non-profit organizations. They really know what they are doing. I make an effort to shop local and I'm happy they're so close by--we're lucky to have them. I highly recommend them! PR S. read more

I recently went into the UPS store in Libertyville for the first and last time. I was shocked at the rude behavior the employee exhibited towards me. I have shopped for over 30 years in the Lake and Cook County communities and have never been treated so ill-mannered by an employee of an establishment. I am shocked the owner of this UPS store is subjecting the patrons to such behavior. read more

I highly recommend the UPS store in Libertyville. They are beyond professional helpful and always kind. Even during the pandemic I've never encountered such pleasant employees at one location I highly recommend them for any of your shipping needs read more

The most rude and unhelpful experience I've ever had at a UPS store. I've returned a LOT of Amazon purchases and never had to package/tape them up before. I brought in two items for return, both in boxes. According to said employee, one of the two was required to be taped "per Amazon" but the other was not. She wanted $1 for a 2" piece of tape. Zero explanation of why. Then when I had USPS packages to drop off (which other UPS locations gladly accept) she tried to suggest I should take them elsewhere and then said "fine, but we don't accept any responsibility for the tracking." Will be traveling a little further to a different location from now on. read more

It's been a long time since I was this disappointed in a retail establishment. You know that adage, "the customer is always right"? Yeah, this group has never heard of it. NO - you can't do that here. NO - we can't help you NO - we are not able to look up UPS account numbers - did you see a big UPS logo outside or something?? YES - You can use our computer, for 2.50 - to print your shipping label for $300. of overnight freight. And yes, I get it. These are not UPS corporate stores - they are franchisees, still bitter that Mailboxes, Etc sold them out. Well, with any luck this location won't make the next round of cuts - or at least with a little luck the staff from Panera will pop over to teach them some customer service skills. But, I doubt it, probably chase them out too. read more

I just want to applaud the male associate (maybe he was the manager idk) who confronted a customer who was not wearing an appropriate mask, the customer was wearing one of those mesh masks that obviously doesn't do anything to protect others. The associate told him to put on a mask and handed him the box of mask and the customer refused and said he was wearing a "mAsKk". The customer then finally complied to put on a real mask. I just want to say good job to the associate and for standing up to a bigot like that ! :) read more

Ben Thackston, the assistant manager, was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He went out of his way to make a complicated package return as easy as possible. This is the only UPS store I want to use. Thanks Ben. read more

I personally do not think this UPS store deserves such a low review. I was just here today to drop off a package for shipping, it was Saturday morning, and for Saturday morning, I'd have to say the workers are quite enthusiastic. I was greeted immediately after I walked in, the store clerk was very helpful, explained to me the different programs that UPS has to offer, so that the next time I would not have to go all the way to Palatine to get a will call package. The store clerk even helped me to seal up my package and said he will take care of the rest. Honestly, I have not experienced such courtesy since I used my school's postal service. I guess after going to the USPS for a while, you feel like other shipping carriers are god-send. read more

I've always been really happy this UPS store is in my neighborhood. The team in Libertyville is always friendly, and the manager always remembers me and asks about my family. I trust them with all of my shipments, mail when I'm out of town, and photocopies. They'll tape stuff up for me on the spot without a problem. It's a great location! 5 stars. read more

Terrible customer service, 2 of the guys act like you're bothering them when you come in. The tall guy with black hair/beard is just downright rude - doesn't say hello or acknowledge you. If it wasn't for Howard, who is awesome, I would probably never go to this location! read more

My husband needed to return some furniture we bought from Macy's. He brought the label that Macy's supplied for the return . The UPS Store employee informed my husband that 1. The label was incorrect 2. The box didn't look like something Macy's sells (like my husband is lying?) 3. The item was going to end up back at our house. (No, Macy's accepted delivery today.) 4. Macy's only paid $2.00 in shipping and should have paid $100.00. I see several complaints about a rude, abrasive employee, and I suppose this is the man who "assisted" my husband. I also see that the owner of the store is surprised by all the complaints about this employee. Add this complaint to the pile, I guess. This is the store where the customer is always WRONG! RESPONSE to the business's response: Most people understand the difference between making helpful suggestions and being a jerk. Your employee does not, which is why we will not do further business with you. read more

Over 3 dollars for one cardboard envelop to send a few pages for work. What a rip off! Its just cardboard after all and I've been to mutiple ups stores and never paid over a dollar, actually its usually no more than some loose change in my pocket. read more

I would give this UPS Store negative reviews if I could. I have shipped from UPS Stores all around the nation, and this one, by far, has the worst customer service. There is one employee there who has the most abrasive personality I have ever come across. He is ugly to everyone, and I am shocked that he has been able to work there for as long as he has. They are never willing to offer solutions or be flexible much less willing to offer an apology. After repeatedly trying to use this UPS Store I have completely given up. I would rather drive completely out of my way than to go to this UPS Store again! read more
