This is not directed toward any staff at our local UPS store because they are all great, however, we just went in to mail out a single hoodie. It was going to be $38 just to mail out a 12 inch soft package, less than 2 lb package!! Said heck no, went to USPS, cost us $13. How is that so?! Unreal! I tried to get through the computer system 3 times and got hung up on trying to talk to a live person. Computer ends up sending me to a live IT person that after 5 minutes or so, sends me offshore. I talk with someone that proceeds to give me all the information concerning this store but is unable to get me through to talk with someone. The call was recorded for quality purpose. Second time in the Lebanon Tn Hartman location. Both times I needed documents scanned and emailed to me. 5 minute wait in line 20 minutes to get dox emailed to me. Don't know the man's name that helped me both times. He doesn't know how to scan and email a document. Both times he asked Anne for help. I don't usually make posts but when it's a recurring incident I will. To be direct this and all locations should thoroughly train their employees before putting them at the helm. Secondly, as a former business owner I found it more beneficial to have my employees under a dress code or in a uniform. It looks more professional. The 2 employees I saw both times look like they are going out to mow the lawn. I like UPS and will continue to use them but I have decided I will purchase a scanner now. J. I wish I could give them zero stars. I came to this location on Friday, 9/1. I needed to ship clothes to MI for a wedding on 9/2. I confirmed with Terri that that if I selected the UPS Next Day option with a 12 pm delivery time that the package would be there on 9/2 by 12 pm. I paid $237.43. The next day when I tracked the package, it showed that it was in KY. I went back to UPS and was told that Terri accidentally keyed the date and the shipment wouldn't be there to 9/5. I was told to come back on on 9/6 to file a claim. Due to the wedding being on 9/2, additional costs were incurred to purchase new clothes on the day of the wedding. I came back on 9/6 and was told I wasn't eligible to file a claim. The owner said that I couldn't get a refund, even though I was told that the employee was at fault, because I signed the receipt. Do not visit this store. You will be held responsible for their employees' mistakes. Take your business to FedEx. read more

I sent a package for two day delivery and paid $13 for it to never show up and when I go to make a claim they say even though it was $100 declared value that they will not issue any sort of credit or give my money back for the shipping. I went into the store and was told the manager would call me and they never did you can call the store repeatedly and they will never answer the phone. Somehow the Postal Service is actually faster and more reliable than the store. read more

This is the friendliest ups store I have been to! I'm there quite often shipping things off. The location is good but the parking lot is terrible. There are not a lot of spots close to the door (which is unfortunate if you have several packages to bring in) due to there being a nail shop, a barbershop and a dentist in the same tiny little strip. I am having nothing but problems with this place. We bought a mailbox here before we moved to Kentucky and honestly wish we would have gotten on elsewhere. Since purchasing our mailbox we have asked for the mail to be forwarded to us once a week, we put his card on file that way they could charge it when they sent it, as well as giving them the forwarding address to where we are now. We have received mail once in the time since we have given this, yet every time I call and get someone to pick up the phone, I have mail there. Not to mention calling them. You are lucky if you get them to answer the phones at all. I called probably 20 times today and got an answer once, and while we were on the phone, it disconnected and he never called back even though they have my call back number. Can't even get a contact number for a manger to talk to about these problems. Getting ready to make the 4 hour drive from where I'm at and get a mailbox elsewhere. read more

Had some items of my late fathers estate shipped out to me. The items were dropped off, packaged and sent to me from the Lebanon TN store. I arrived the contents broken and filed a claim with UPS. The broken item(s) were returned and to date (9/22) the items have been in possession of this particular store for 6 weeks and there is no status. When trying to contact, the phone does nothing. I had to have my sister in law take time out of her day to make a trip to this store to inquire as the status of my claim. Its still there and nothing seems to be done with it. I have contacted UPS, UPS Claims and filed a formal complaint with the UPS damage section. They are now trying to get in touch with this particular store and they never seem to answer even when the answering service states that they are supposed to be open. If I was thinking about mailing anything from this store or UPS I would think long and hard about the decision and how long it would take in you do ship anything and then have to wait FOREVER to try to get anything resolved. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Have had an ongoing problem since the new owner took over 11/1/2012. It has become progressivley worse since his son and new staff took over the latter part of this year. Since August of this year, my mising mail includes utility bills, credit card documents, financial documents, state and federal documents, magazines, and boxes. When I complained to the owner and Corporate Area Franchisees, the store employees sent my boxes back to sender on the same day they were received. The Coporate Area Franchisees told the Postmaster that the "address was incomplete". The Postmaster confirmed through incoming mail that very few UPS box holders have a complete address on incoming mail. Moreover, I have received boxes from the same sender to that address for the past eight years. The employees are retaliating and sending my boxes back. I have confirmation of this, as the employee admitted he returned my box to another customer. The store owner and Corporate Area Franchisees have not taken steps to remedy the mail theft or the employee retaliation. Additionally, the UPS Store regularly gives me other customers' boxes and mail. A UPS Store, Lebanon, TN employee has handed me the slip to sign for other box holder's IRS information three times in the past year. I had the IRS information in my hands before I realized I should not sign the slip. The son of the owner has released my personal information to strangers. The son of the owner has told UPS customers I am "weird" because I hold a personal and a business box at the UPS Store. Most recently I have confirmed checks mailed to my address at the Lebanon, TN UPS Store have been cashed. I did receive or cash those checks. Avoid this store. If you seek to protect your private information and wish to avoid identity theft, do not do business with the UPS Store Lebanon, TN. read more
