Extremely disappointing service - misleading guarantee and alarming lack of responsibility I paid over $200 for UPS Worldwide shipping at this UPS Store, based on a clearly stated guarantee that if the package was not delivered by the promised end-of-day date, a refund would be issued. The package was not delivered on time, and since October I have been forced to chase a refund that should have been honored under UPS's own service guarantee. What is most troubling is that the store owner has been fully informed of the situation, yet appears to have little to no interest in helping a customer who is clearly in a vulnerable position. I continue to be told that requests have been submitted, but nothing ever materializes. Instead of taking responsibility, the burden is repeatedly shifted back onto me to contact UPS customer service on my own. This raises a serious question: how can a business operate while charging premium prices, yet show such a lack of concern when its own guarantees fail? If a store chooses to sell expensive shipping services with promised protections, one would reasonably expect the owner to actively assist customers when those protections are not honored. Calling UPS customer service only leads to being transferred endlessly, with no accountability, no clear answers, and no resolution. Meanwhile, the store that took my payment remains disengaged. Requesting a significant amount of money for services and guarantees that the business is unwilling to stand behind is both misleading and concerning. It creates the impression that once payment is made, the customer is simply left to fend for themselves. This has been, without exaggeration, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I am sharing this to warn others: do not rely on the guarantees sold at this location. If something goes wrong, you should not expect support, ownership, or accountability. Super weird interaction with the curly brown haired notary lady. She was very dramatic about my notary appt, which was just a copy certification. I was so embarrassed the way she treated me. When we walked in she was bitching to other male employee about another employee so bless them for having to deal with her theatrics. She slammed notary booked down and flipped pages aggressively. Literally ruined her day. I was calm and nice the entire time. I find women who cant handle stress, who are constant complainers and dramatic actors, office gossips and drama creators extremely unattractive and give major ick. I have used this UPS store about 5 times. Each and every time the guy behind the counter is miserable and rude. This morning I had a very heavy 30 lb package that I could not carry into the store. I parked right outside of the door and went in. I had a prepaid QR code for him to scan. I asked if he could take the package from my passenger seat into the store. He was so put out. It was literally about 30 feet. When we went back into the store he went in and let the door close on me. This is his demeanor every time I have been there. I will not go back. There is a mailbox place at Lake Mead and Sun City and I will use that store from now on. read more

I hadn't been inside of a UPS Store in years and my goodness I picked the right one yesterday! I had MANY documents that needed to be notarized and some required witnesseses, which I didn't readily have. I called ahead of my visit and Kamrynn was so nice. She informed me that they could supply witnesses (the staff). The entire staff, including Robert was outstanding! They are all knowledgeable with top-notch customer service skills, but the superstar of my pleasant experience at the store was Royanne! Not only did Royanne expertly notarize all of my documents, but she went above and beyond in helping me organize the mess of documents I had brought in. I walked out with every document in order. Royanne is meticulous and expertly completed all notarizations in minimal time. She's accommodating, possesses a friendly demeanor, and is a true professional! This will be my go-to place for future notarizations. I highly recommend this store and their fantastic staff! read more

Got into the store first & was up next to get service with one representative helping someone else. 2 other customers came in right behind me so the remaining 2 representatives came up to the register & helped the new customers instead of helping me when I came in before the other 2. As I was standing there, it was obvious I was annoyed. After 3-4 minutes, sensing my annoyance, the rep I was waiting for asked me if I was dropping off. That agent saw I had an Amazon return and asked if that's all I needed and I replied yes and she immediately scanned the code and asked I wanted a receipt. Today I had a Notary appointment at 1pm. I got there 10 minutes early, they helped me. The lady that helped me was really cool. She was so helpful and nice. I messed up and they had to re print out my paper. Then I thought it was cool they had a USPS box so I didn't have to go out tomorrow to send out my letter. The price for a notary was $15 but they charged me for a print and email. Which total came out to being $17. Not bad at all! I'll be back to do my other one for COX internet. read more

Yaaaaaay!!! Had an Amazon return and decided to give this location another chance after a couple of years, as it's 2 minutes away from my house, and had a great experience! The workers are all new, thank goodness. The workers that worked there 3 years ago were terrible. The 2 older female employees were curmudgeonly to put it nicely. The gentleman and the younger female employees that were working today were friendly and helpful. I mentioned it to the guy that helped me with my return that it was soooo nice to see new faces and that I used to go to the UPS on Lake Mead & Rampart because I hated the previous workers. He and the girl said that several others have said the same thing. Don't know if the owner of this location or UPS actually read the Yelp reviews and decided changes were in order, but thank you to whoever that made the right decision. February 6 about 10:50 AM a male crew at the UPS store at Village Center shamed me for asking for help. I am 82 years old small built female with the acting back pain. Due to the pain I asked him to help bring in a big box from my car parked in front of the store. He did not want to do it. He said something like it is out of his job description. Although he grudgingly obligated to pick up the box from my car and processed the transactions, he shamed me for asking for help. I didn't get his name; but he looked slender in earlier middle age with very short hair without eyeglasses. If I see him again, I will pass him and wait for another crew to help me. The UPS store should not hire people who are reluctant to carry a box. If I didn't have a back pain, I would not have asked for help. Where is human decency? read more

12/14/24 I saw a lot of bad reviews so wasn't sure how my experience would go showing up 45 minutes before closing. Was very satisfied when I pull up and saw an Open sign. Inside when I walked in the gentleman that was working was on the phone and had three customers in line. He was able to help them all including the customer on the phone and me within the five minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. This place is very clearly marked and visible in the shopping complex and had many open parking spots when I pulled up right out front. Five stars great experience. read more

I'm really unpleased with this UPS location. The older woman that works here with the short hair is not friendly and very stern with her tone. They recently changed the house which makes it inconvenient 8-6 to 9-5 and literally start shutting down minutes before 5pm you cannot show up at 4:59pm even just to check your mail box because the first thing they do is lock the doors. I would highly encourage searching for another location for service or even once in awhile needs. I'd advise the USP store manger to update the online schedule on all platforms as shown in the photo a client showing up at 5:05pm as I am writing this with a handful of items. read more

I came in earlier today, around noon. I was greeted when I came in the door. It was quite busy and a lot of things in the store was not working. But that did not stop this young worker, I think she said her name was Kylie or Kaylee. She made sure that she had all my information correct, she apologized for the wait and got straight to work. This is the customer service I want to see every time, I come in. even though I could tell she was overwhelmed she was so nice to me, and it was honestly the best interactions I've had in a long time in customer service. She really knows how to connect with her customers. My question for the owner is though. Why aren't the rest of your employees like this? they seem very stuck up and stand offish. Are you finally fixing the customer service in here? It would be nice if everyone acted like this young woman, carries herself nice. when I have came in previously, I never got service like this. read more

His attitude is not it and higher up needs to address this situation because as I read through the other reviews, this isn't a first! Fair is fair. My last rating of this UPS Store was a ways back, and since then, I have been to the store to return Amazon packages several times. I have also heard from my significant other that she has been to the store on occasion as well. Neither she nor I have had any issue with the present staff. On the contrary, the interactions have all been positive with courteous employees who were eager to help, nothing like what I described in my initial rating. In addition to the improved service and attitude of the employees, I also had the present manager or possible new franchisee, left a comment on Yelp recently to me, explaining how there's been a change of ownership and steps taken to address the concerns I made in my eariler rating. Everyone deserves another chance, and it appears this business is making an effort to improve. Since I or my wife, have not had any negative experiences with this UPS store in our last few visits, they have earned the 5 star rating, if for nothing else, effort. read more

I stopped in to return my Direct TV equipment. I was blown away by Royanne and her determination to process my equipment return that both the Fed Ex Store and Direct TV we're unable to help me with. While waiting I witnessed Royanne and her coworkers work together as a team as they helped customers in the store. One of the older Caucasian ladies at this location has told me a few times that getting a receipt for my drop off is a waste of trees and the environment. She often gives me attitude when i ask for a receipt and or says well what's the value of the package... like i want to announce that each box is worth 500$. It's the closest UPS to me but for the past 2-3 months I've been going to a further one just to avoid the drama over a receipt. My label printer sometimes doesnt print out labels great and when they try to scan it in it doesnt work therfore i have to take it back home. That's the main reason i like a receipt. The last time i stopped there i brought in 20 boxes worth 300-600$ each and she said i could just leave them there. I said i needed a receipt and she went on saying the same excuse from the last 4 times, that there is a shortage of receipts at all ups locations and that they're running low.... I was dropping off 6k worth of merchandise and had to haul it all back to my truck to take my business to a further location. I've reached out to ups 3 months ago but nothing has changed. read more

I had a next day air delivery for California by noon, it was for rent for a property in the area, and It didn't get there on time due to "mechanical failure" When I came back to the store, expecting money for a refund because the service was promised, but not satisfactory, Edward filed a refund for me and I got the check for the full amount back in my mailbox within a week. I understand things happen and I am just thankful that I was able to be reimbursed out because of the delay. You don't really see a lot of stores nowaways be as diligent as UPS Store here in Summerlin. read more

By far the rudest people on earth and if they go out of business it would be no surprise. 3 people at a time in the store and if you don't have a mask they will tell you to leave rudely. There are many pleasant ways of handling this new normal and the way they are handling it is very sad. If you have to behave like this why re open during this pandemic? I just had a horrible experience at this location on 9/9/24. I typically come here and have no issues. However, I walked in at 9:50 am and walked in on two team members talking about how he was clocked in yet someone said he didn't etc? They seemed annoyed. The woman with brown hair that was up to shoulder length with glasses, an older lady. She never once greeted me, looked at me. It was as if I walked in on their conversation. I had an Amazon return and showed her the bar code. She waved her hand aggressively as the phone was not close enough? Then she asked is this all?!?! I have no idea where this attitude came from but it made me extremely uncomfortable. Rudely she asked if I needed a receipt and I said no. I left with not one "have a great day" or "you're all set to go." As someone with multiple customer service jobs I would never treat someone like this. This is my first review as this company needs to look into this woman and have a conversation about how she treats guests. read more
