Would never use UPS if I had a choice. Every time I order and item that gets sent from Amazon, Wayfair etc using UPS it is always late. Still waiting on a package since the 7th it said it was out for deliver then never showed up been gettimg the run around so i paid to have it taken to an access point and still nothing the guy at this center was very rude and Hung up on me. There is an employee at this store that needs a RAISE! I shipped a package from my very unhelpful UPS store in Lowell, IN (store 5600) and paid for a ground residential delivery. The package ended up at the Lafayette, IN store (store 4196) for customer pickup and the recipient of this package is disabled and does not have a vehicle. I called customer service and was directed to call store 5600 directly and received ZERO help or solutions to this issue. I called store 4196 and spoke to Ariel who did suggest to call customer service again but was sympathetic to the situation. About 30 minutes later Ariel called me back and was able to track her driver down to convince him to deliver the package!! ARIEL NEEDS A RAISE AND A MANAGEMENT TITLE! Thank you, Ariel! Their machine acted up. It didn't print an 8 correctly in the zip code but they said it would be delivered. It wasn't delivered. It was sent back to this store. Customer service even showed that someone signed for it saying the store had it. According to their records though, we never came through that store and that package doesn't exist. read more

You employee some of the rudest kids at this location. Twice now I have been treated poorly when asking for help.

No customer service at all. Package was delivered at 1004 am. Henderson stated that she didn't have it. Contacted UPS to confirm with supervisor that it had indeed been delivered. Went back to the store where I was told we don't have it. I let them know since it showed delivered and was not there I would have to file a police report about a stolen package. Manager was then called in. He started out with the same song and dance about a substitute driver and not having it. I reiterated that I had talked with the local center (retired from UPS 2013) and was given assurance through GPS that it was delivered at 10:04. At this time he decided to check outgoing packages. About 2 minutes later he finds it. He didn't seem to care that his employee was cursing about how she knows how to look for a f---ing package and other not so nice vocabulary. Over an hour of my time and 2 trips to get a box that should have only taken 5 minutes the first time. I will never use this store again as long as this employee is still there read more

Stopped in while working a delivery route from Indiana on my way back to Minnesota. There is parking availability for semi trucks. Notary on site available till 7 PM, as well as available till three on Saturday. Excellent customer service. Will utilize again when needing to take care of administrative documentation while on the road, this location would be worth going out of my way to reach it. read more

An ideal shipping service, extremely friendly, attentive, and well-versed in all the ins and outs for returns and direct mail. I am so glad they are happy to take boxes for UPS here at a great accessible location. As of two years ago thanks to our wonderful politicians stepping down the services our post office should provide, we have been thankful to find UPS eager to ensure packages are delivered on time, not lost along the way. I have migrated a majority of over a thousand shipments a year to UPS now because of the great prices, reliability, and dropoff locations in the area. Not just shipping nationally but to Canada as well because of some handy tools I discovered. I highly recommend Pirate Ship, sounds a bit sketchy but utilizes a large consumer base to procure corporate prices for the masses without a membership or yearly fee. It has been a huge blessing to my small online retail business to get the big business discounts for shipping especially overseas. I cannot recommend pirate ship enough; especially for those who have large items to ship out this Christmas season but get a heart attack at the quote straight from USPS or UPS. Shipping is still the most frustrating part of online retail even after a decade now but I'm feeling more confident than ever, much of that to do with UPS like the people here! read more

Zero two young college age kids running desk huge line terrible customer service, tried to charge close to 50 for a cardboard box and then refused all service after I said I was upset I had to go to Walmart to buy another box. typically I would not write this review but for this location it was the only open store in the area. I was unable to upload my file to the website for in-store pickup, so I just went to the store in Lafayette, IN, to get 150 plain old black and white copies made, and was charged over 2x the price quoted online, on their very own website. (.18 per copy online, .40 per copy, in store) What should've been $27 was over $60. When I spoke with the supervisor, because the young man who made my copies wouldn't confirm price ahead of time, she replied that it's "like Papa John's, and sometimes the corporation will run specials, but the franchises don't honor them". Are you kidding me? At least post your prices somewhere in the store, in that case, or train your employees to respond to customers questions, before they begin making the copies. read more

Visited the UPS store at 2pm yesterday and was able to beat the Christmas shopping rush; which was good because I was not shopping anything for Christmas. I had some complicated shopping needs and the staff was friendly and very helpful. They helped me with the right packing supplies and with anything else that I needed. Your store is under contract with Best Buy to be an access point for alternative package deliveries. Per Best Buy, you are to allow deliveries of packages for Best Buy customers and hold them for 5 days from the notification date before assessing any fees. I went to pick up my package which was delivered to you 3 days ago, and was told I had to pay a $5 "Pick Up Fee" to have my package released to me. When I refused to pay the fee I was told that you would call the police if I continued to argue. You are violating the terms of your Best Buy contract and charging their customers a bogus fee because you can...you charged the woman in line in front of me the same fee...no invoice, just wrote in pen on the package. To follow up, The UPS Store customer service team has blamed Best Buy for not using the Direct to Retailer service properly, however the package has a large D2R printed on the shipping label signifying that the package should have been held for pick-up at no additional charge to me. read more

Awful experience today. I ship very regularly from various UPS Store's around the state and surrounding states. I came in today to ship 15 items that took up 3 total boxes. As always, I used my companies campus ship account to print off 3 labels. The employees rang me up for $145.00 for 3 boxes and bubble wrap / packaging! I couldn't believe this so I packed all the items back up in my car and drove 2 hours South back to my hometown UPS Store where I was charged $37.00 for the exact same service. This place is run by clowns. I brought in a lamp to be boxed and ready for shipping. It took two people, several measurings, re-measurings, calculations, head scratching, remeasuring, calculating and then came up with a price that was OUTRAGEOUS! Over $100. Not including shipping, just the box and packing. Went to the A1 packing in WL total was $40 INCLUDING SHIPPING. Waste of time. NOT RECCOMENDED. read more
