I had to run in and make an Amazon return, the young gal was helping an elderly lady in a walker. She was so patient and respectful with her . She was having a problem finding the return authorization from Amazon on her phone. The lady behind me was getting very frustrated but in my mind it made me feel good that the gal was so kind. Then I was paying for some merchandise (same store) and the check out guy was helping an older man decide on a journal he was thinking about buying! I only use this location to print when my at home printer cannot print what I would like to be printed. I placed an order for a specific material of paper to be printed on, and when I went to pick it up, it was made to my attention that they no longer carry that kind of paper, so they just printed it on another paper, without my approval. When I asked for a reprint on a different paper, Caleb, the worker walked back and said 'for f**k's sake'. Like thanks for being willing to reprint but at least wait till I leave to complain read more

Exceeds expectations. That's precisely what I experienced with Ty and Sam, at the Kokomo store that extended to this location. all who are nothing short of lifesavers. Faced with an urgent need for a print job that seemed almost impossible, I reached out to them in hopes of a miracle. And a miracle is what they delivered! When I realized I called the wrong store -- UUGGGHH, in a twist of fate. The panic set in, but before it could take over, Ty, with an intuition that can only be described as extraordinary, sensed my distress. Without a second thought, Ty reached out to the manager of the correct store, connecting me with Brad....ensuring that my print job was addressed. This act of kindness was above and beyond--a testament to their professionalism and empathy. I cannot express enough gratitude to Brad and his team. The copy and print center closes a half hour early... maybe sooner! Don't call ahead, they won't help you... you have to go in. Then, wait in line and be told your flash drive doesn't work. Well... it worked everywhere else. So going back in, waiting in line (hours of my day gone) I am told that 7 copies will have to wait until tomorrow... Absolute crap customer service. The store manager should be pretty upset that people are closing early and not working while on the clock. People don't understand how they treat others and waste their day... young girl didn't even care. Never again, and telling everyone to avoid. read more

Stick to their catalogs... The store doesn't make the cut...! Are plain silver color staples all this Staples sells? I am bored...! I am a little surprised. I was hoping for some personal office supplies. I figured they would have colors, styles, options in excess being an office supply item exclusive store. The selections for a general office desktop set up were far less than expected and the prices were very expensive for what I could get from the scarce selection. I chose another office store and was very thankful I did. I was able to have professional appearance and/or fun color selections (whatever look you are going for) I desired. Overall this place just had staff chilling. Not rude, not helpful. Just standing in their empty store. I feel bored for them. They have limited selections offered. They have minimal customers. They have minimal business because they can't sell anything office-like at these very prices compared to local competitors offering any kind with office supplies too. They can't lower costs if they don't make a sale. They need some supply for there to be a demand. Overall, I was in, browsed, and was out. They didn't have what I needed or liked. I had one office desktop selection to possibly consider that would be tolerable to meet my needs, but for the price to just be "tolerable" for a work office, i wasn't interested. I found my needs at another office store and respectfully could have found basic professional items better price, selection, and at least equal quality at even a Walmart. It's weird for me to write my first random two star review. This place just didn't make the cut for what it needs to be and what it is supposed to be selling. Overpriced, under stocked on the selections, boring and empty. In the 765 area, I'll personally save my time (and money) and choose a different office store next time from the beginning now that I know better and not bother here. Staples I do know is a huge chain for online supplier to many companies, both large and small, I have worked at. If you are not in a catalog at work and visit THIS location, the only reason I imagine they are existing is the fact the brand name is huge and well known, the store in person was lacking all I needed and doesn't match up. Order from their online maybe, but spare yourself your valuable time before walking in, around for five minutes, then out of this store feeling bored, empty, and not-excited like the inside store makes you feel. The atmosphere is just "so so." This office supply store is below average and I was surprised by the limited supply and high cost since it was "Staples" brand name in store. Stopped in to purchase printer toner and was greeted by a very nice and helpful associate. After asking if he could guide me to the toner, he made sure I was satisfied with the selection. Picked up a couple of other items and when I got to the checkout was asked if I had a rewards account. After the clerk entered my phone number 3 times, he decided to use my name to find the account. He was not the least bit rude or impatient and determined that the phone number was correct and there should not have been a problem in the first place. I visited the Lafayette Staples store print center recently with a project that is, near and dear to my heart", I was making a poster. The sales person, Phillip seemed so eager to help me, after giving him my details and choices for this project.The original was a standard size paper 8 1/2 x 11. He informed me the color resolution could be lost, mind you the poster size was 11x17 on card stock. We agreed on Wednesday for pickup. He then proceeded to ask another sales person to finish "ringing me up" , because he need to eat his pizza he had for lunch. She in turn said we will call you when Job is finished.
