This for me is a nearly every day stop. It has been so for 15 years and regardless of who the owner is, and I have known of two of them now it is well run. The staff is friendly and efficient and frankly the service is over the top. For the value, I would say this is probably one of the best service establishments that I have the pleasure to work with in both my business and personal environment. It is well worth doing business with these folks. It's a great value and there is no doubt that if you require something to be shipped or to be received by a facility, these folks will provide precisely the service that you have requested. I called on Monday 5/15/23 with the purpose of getting information on how to remove myself from a po box. I was told by the person at the store that they were the only staff member there which is horrible to even imagine for the person. My question was not addressed and was told I would receive a call back in an hour. I did not receive a call back in an hour and the staff member still stated that they were the only person here. How can there only be one person for a high-volume location. The franchise has to do better to better staff this location. The staff member became mildly rude and only stated would call back when available which may never occur. Not a good marker of customer service. Things need to be improved on this end. read more

Everytime that I came into that store, the staff is always friendly. They always say hello, and they will help me ship anything from computers to paperwork to a computer mouse! They are always professional and I'm in & out within 5-10 minutes ( this is my average time, overall in the store, yours could be different) And they the cutest guys that I have ever seen! I needed help printing something for my daughter's wedding - it was challenging and my memory stick wouldn't work on the copy machine. She told me not to worry, that she would figure it out for me. Because UPS often claims to deliver my packages when they really don't (I have cameras on my house), I decided to start shipping to UPS access points. Recently UPS claimed that a shipment was made to the Westheimer store on Westheimer, long after hours when the store was closed. As you can guess, the manager of the location said the next morning they never received a package. So she got on the phone with the UPS warehouse and basically made them track down the package and determine why there was an error in their system. Basically, she called them out for being dishonest. Eventually, the manager tracked down the driver and got the package. It's rare for someone to go out of their way for a customer but manager of this location was very customer proactive and she wasn't about to let this package be reported as missing. I definitely give her great credit for her assistance. read more

Everytime I come here to send boxes to different states, I always have the boxes ready, read my phone number and confirm the addresses in the list for the guys to make their job easier but sadly I never receive a smile or "thank you", or "have a great day" from them. read more

I ordered several things with UPS being delivery service. On scheduled day of delivery I was working in front office with full view of street. A UPS truck passed but never stopped ( confirmed with workers who were in front the whole time ). UPS reported it delivered 20 minutes after truck passed. I contacted vendor who looped in UPS and they promised resolution in 90 minutes. I called back and at first acted like never heard of it and then finally acknowledged. The said put urgent on it and would get back within an hour. That was 16 hours ago. UPS allows drivers to steal and then covers up for them. They can't be trusted with anything. I got items replaced by vendor and shipped fedex 2 day. I am going into all my online companies and specifying under no condition can they use UPS. I am also progressing legal charges. DO NOT USE UPS IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE AS THIEFS AND TOTALLY UNETHICAL. Jim McDonnell read more

I noticed it getting slower, candy dish is gone TV is gone, music is now gone. all the employees I got to know are gone, Service is now gone. I need to drop off packages at UPS at least once a week. I've been to 5 different UPS stores and this is the best one. Almost all of their employees are friendly, professional and efficient. They are also surprisingly the only one I've been to that has an automatic door with a handicap button which I use because I always have so many packages it's not easy to open the door myself. They also accept USPS package drop-offs. read more

I've dropped off a couple of medium sized moving boxes here to be shipped off. I was always greeted and asked what I needed help with. One of the employees inside even helped me carry one of my boxes inside from my car. I've been to several UPS stores around the Katy area and this one, by far, has the best customer service. The handicap button on the entrance door is very helpful too when trying to carry a big box inside. read more

So much better than the post office. Always quick, friendly service, and they don't scowl at you if you need tape or something. They even sometimes have boxes of free lemons that one of the cashiers (or the owner, maybe?) said he brings then in to share from a tree in his yard. It's not like the UPS store is a fine restaurant where you expect an experienced sommelier to guide you through the intricacies of 'earthy' vs. 'full' in your Pinot Noir selection. Nonetheless, when Comcast makes it difficult to return an old cable box, it does take someone who both understands those complexities and can make the experience the opposite of a hassle.
