As soon as I walked through the door, I could hear employees loudly using profanity, including repeated F-bombs and other inappropriate language. I asked the employee helping me if that kind of language was acceptable in the store, and he simply replied, "It's accepted nowadays." While I was emailing my return label, another employee, who identified himself as the owner, became noticeably impatient and short with me. One of my Amazon returns was still inside its original packaging. He opened the package, handed me the discarded packaging, and expected me to take it. I walked over and placed it in the trash can near the front door. At that point, I tried to de-escalate the situation by saying, "Let's start over. I think we got off on the wrong foot." Instead of calming things down, he continued with the same attitude. He then told me he was going to charge me to tape the box and ultimately charged me for three separate items related to returning my Amazon package. I paid the charges because I just wanted to leave and avoid any further confrontation. I've worked in customer service for many years, and I understand that difficult interactions happen. However, there is no excuse for employees openly using profanity around customers or for an owner to treat someone with such disrespect when they're simply trying to complete a return. It left me with the impression that he believes he's above accountability. Unfortunately, this was an experience I won't forget, and I won't be returning to this location.
