Already had three expanding folders but need three more. Went to the first store which was the one I had bought the original expanding folders from and they had rearranged the floor. Finally found something that would work that was similar to what I had originally bought. Took it to the counter for check out and stood there and stood there and stood there till it got to the point where I took my purchases back to where I got them, placed them back and left the store. Granted the sales associate had a customer he was checking out which was one thing but this devolved into a general conversation about everything except the transaction in hand. I left the store with zero interaction with any employee. Got back in the car and my wife suggested Staples and I agreed even though we would have to do a bit of backtracking. Walked in and started looking and before long and sales associate asked if he could help me find something. Told him what I wanted and he took me back to the proper area and explained my options. Picked up three expanding folders and went to check out. One ahead of me but no big thing. Did have a problem on the rewards points because the email address for the receipt had not been updated and that took a minute. I don't typically post a review, but when I feel a business is unethical it is important to me that the community. I hope what happened to me does not happen to anyone else. A friend of mine took a package into UPS store #2690 on Feb 5, 2026 for a guaranteed over night delivery to me in Austin, TX on Feb 6, 2026. The store charged $214.00. On Feb 6th I tracked the package. It was delayed due to weather. But how can that be? There were no weather issues in Charlotte or Austin, and if there was why did they accept the package for overnight delivery? Yes, there were weather issues the previous week, but that was the previous week. When I contacted the UPS store owner/manager, Issa, I was told they could not be accountable for weather. The package would not be delivered until three days later. To make matters worse because I was no longer in the Austin area to receive the package he wanted to charge me $100.00 to reroute it. Completely unethical in my opinion. After going around and around with Issa hoping to get a full refund, he offered me a $75.00 store credit. Sorry, that doesn't cut it. Rather than accept an offer like that and keep quiet I would rather not, and post this in hopes that it will help someone avoid this situation in the future and go elsewhere to ship overnight packages.
