Being unable to drive, we use UBER to get around. Unfortunately, the UBER driver took my wife to your location. When asked about the "other ups store", Kim informed my wife that there "is no other ups store in Harker Heights." My wife needed further assistance with dropping off her returns. She found no understanding or kindness in Kim's heart for the elderly and disabled. My wife was reduced to tears, and just came home still holding the packages she was trying to return. Both Rebeka and Barbara were extraordinarily helpful. I have been using this store for years. They are always cheerful. Today I had a document to Fax and the number would not work. They prepared the document for mail (Certified) after trying 6 times to fax it. They have always gone beyond normal service. Great employees! read more

Not sure if it's the employees inside the store of the drivers for the store but this is now the second time I've dropped off items for Amazon returns and Amazon says they have not received the items from UPS yet. One UPS store said they can notarize a signature confirm these are my IDs. This store refused to do so. Made me wait for 10 mins. Doesn't understand her own store's policies. EDIT FOR COMMENT: I did ask for that exactly. Because the other UPS Store advised that. I went to yours and she said no we can't. I said can you notarize me stating these are legit. She said no. Today after my post here the Store manager (Susan) called me and said they would reship my package at no cost to me. I informed her that I had already resent it Via US POSTAL service yesterday and she then offered to give me a refund on my shipping costs. This all could have been avoided IF she had refunded me or offered to resend the package days ago instead of waiting until I Posted my review of them. I Will change my rating up to a two star as it took a bad review for them to correct what should have been done days ago. I would like to make this clear THE STORE IS NOT THE ISSUE it was the employee who was on duty the night of December 20th. I have been going to this store since we moved to town and never had an issue. I called to make sure they were still open until 7pm(per the UPS store website) she said yes she was. We came straight over and live 5 minutes away. She was already completely closed and locked up by 6:53. I called 10 minutes prior and asked and said "perfect! I'm on my way!" Either she had already locked up and was BSing me on the phone or started closing as soon as she hung up. My husband went to the door and knocked and pointed to the sign. She shrugged and ignored him. We immediately called The UPS store corporate number and they confirmed that they are not supposed to close and lock until after designated time. Because of her antics we went to Fedex and got superior service and my package left sooner. I will just make sure to avoid this employee. To emphasize again. For shipping, they have always alerted me to my best options regarding time vs cost - this was especially helpful during the holidays. My visits to UPS Store on their busiest days was still quicker than the smoothest days I spent at the local Post Office. The US Postal service may offer cheaper rates for some things - but to me - my time is money. As a box-holder, Harker Heights UPS has always provided timely notification to me via email and text when packages arrived. Often times, the packages were stacked and waiting for me by the time I walked through the door. AVOID this UPS store. The woman who works here would not let me leave packages that were prepaid because she didn't know if they were hazmat compliant. WHAT A JOKE! I was mailing empty spray bottles.. No liquid, just plastic. This woman was incredibly rude. I walked in, set my packages down and stated to walk out to grab another box, and she starts yelling at me from across the store. "ma'am, ma'am, YOU CAN'T LEAVE THOSE THERE!!" "Alright, where should I set them?" *standing in front of me, still yelling* "YOU HAVE TO TELL ME WHAT IS IN THEM, OR I CAN'T ACCEPT THEM" "they are plastic bottles" "YOU CAN NOT SHIP THOSE UPS, YOU NEED TO LEAVE!" I highly recommend this location! I always dread going into these type of business because they're usually under staffed and not in a good mood... This was not the case here! I rarely leave reviews but this location deserves acknowledgment. I was treated upon entering even though they were busy with other customers. It smelled amazing at first walk inside, even my 4 year old commented how good it smelled. Secondly the associates seemed so friendly, genuinely, not that fake customer service attitude but genuinely kind. I was having an issue with my package and AMY was amazing!! Just the sweetest, kindest, most helpful associate I've ever experienced. Thank you AMY. I also love how the other associate there that day checked up and asked if I needed anything, super friendly guy. You can tell it was a good environment, the way the three associates there smiled, joked and had good co worker banter. They really made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I'm happy to say that this store is under new ownership, and so much better than before. I went in there today dreading it, and instead of the usual dark store and recalcitrant clerk, it was bright, bustling and friendly. I do a lot of Amazon returns, so I was glad that this store had opened; unfortunately, it was so awful that I hated going there, even to just drop off a package. Today was great. The new owner, Paul was actually in the store waiting on customers - also something new. I was hesitant to go to this store after seeing the one star review, but upon entering the store is clean, well lit, and well stocked. I was greeted in a friendly manner and shown where to place my boxes. These were prepaid return boxes. I asked if I needed to explain anything or if anything else was need to me. I was given a smile and a head shake along with, "No, just have a nice weekend." As easy a process as anyone would expect.
