I frequent this location for shipments and returns. Today was NOT my first encounter with this employee. There was a person in front of me who was helped and left. I was the only person in the store. She chose to label other packages in the store instead of assisting me. When questioned, she said the boxes were there first. After 10 minutes of waiting, she has me move to another register. I was trying to see her name plate and she turns it towards me and says "can you see it?!" She was rude throughout my transactions. Then she throws a UPS store card at me and says I can leave my review there. There are many struggling, capable people who would love to have the job that she apparently hates. I am very hopeful that UPS would rather have a pleasant, customer-oriented person representing their company instead of this miserable, bad-mannered, impolite individual. Common courtesy isn't hard. I will not use this location again and also will avoid UPS when possible. read more

This is a convenient location for a UPS Store. They make Amazon returns super simple. There was no wait when I went in, so my transaction took all of 2 minutes. I wish they had parking on the business' side of the street, as this area can be busy but it is directly across the street from the business which is not bad. I have only used this store for Amazon returns, so I have always had a pleasant experience. read more

Came here to ship some things to my family during the holidays. The boxes were probably about 5-8 lbs each. It cost $334 to ship these two boxes from NC to CA and NC to KS. Absolutely ridiculous. Only gave an extra star because the packages did arrive to my family ahead of time. HIGHLY recommend going to USPS instead. Definitely learned my lesson. Will never ever be using ups to ship anything ever again. read more

I recently stopped by The UPS Store in Friendly Center to ship two boxes on a weekend while the US Post Office was closed. The one positive I can say is that while the entire shopping center was packed with shoppers, this store was empty with no line. I was greeted by an unenthusiastic employee who started weighing and pricing out my first box. She gave me the price, which was a tad higher than I would have paid at the USPS but for the convenience of shipping it on a Saturday I am ok with that. Next, before they would agree to ship the box they will agree to ship the box they require that you declare the exact contents of the package to them. While I really did not care that they knew I was shipping a winter jacket and backpack, quite frankly, it is none of their business what I am shipping as long as it does not contain any of their prohibited items. Lastly she took my second box to weigh and price it out. This was a very light box, but was of a medium to large size, so I expected it was be a little more expensive to ship. She then told me that it was going to cost $82 to ship this box with UPS Ground. I knew they also could ship with the USPS and asked for that price and was told "it will be significantly more than the UPS Ground rate". While I was expecting expensive that was just absurd, so I told her I would just be taking it to the Post Office tomorrow at which point I just got a very rude look and sigh. (the package was shipped by USPS the next day for $20). I know that this store probably caters to super small businesses that need shipping and mail services but at least try to be competitive and enthusiastic to help customers. I will not be returning at a minimum to this location of The UPS Store. read more

This location has a piss poor way of handling business. I went to this location to mail a phone back to a carrier and the manager of this location took my package and placed my shipping label on someone else package and lost my phone in the process. This location will not answer phone or return phone calls, they tried to dodge me for months and when I asked for the managers supervisor she refused to give it to me on 4 separate occasions. They did not take responsibility for losing my package and I didn't even get so much as a apology. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! read more

I needed my will notarized and went to this location. Not only was the notary helpful but the two other men who were working, actually took the time to fill out their information and act as witnesses. This is a bit of a big deal because they were listing their personal information, on these papers. The cost was $5 per notary signature. I needed three signatures: one, for my will, one, for the durable power of attorney, and one, for the medical power of attorney. Because I wanted two notarized copies of all three, that was 6 signatures, which cost $30. Since many banks no longer offer notary services, this was a good solution. Everyone was friendly and all my questions were answered. read more

The manager was nice enough. Didn't have to wait at all. $3.27 to print one piece of paper, though, from a computer that I never touched. Won't be coming back to this location. The one off of Battleground will still remain my choice, though this store is much closer to home. Lesson learned. read more

The box of vacation goodies they shipped for us arrived at our home in New Jersey today, with everything intact. The store packed it much more compactly than I could have packed it myself, so it ended up saving us money to have them do the packing. We're happy we found them. read more
