The office is bustling, but the professionals working there work efficiently and with kind demeanors. Although there was a wait due to the steady flow of customers, I was glad to wait in such an orderly fashion. The lone Postal Worker, Monica, handled herself like a seasoned pro and got customers through swiftly. When a co-worker joined her, things went even more smoothly, and I got back in line to ask another question to save myself the time and frustration of agonizing through Google search for the answer. I'm glad I did. Monica answered my question and gave me the materials I could use to prepare for my next trip to the USPS and make things even more effortless AND less costly. I've always been a fan of the Postal Workers Union. Like many of our "blue-collar" workers, I feel that postal workers are undervalued and underpaid. They provide invaluable services, usually with a smile. I am most GRATEFUL for my local postal work and for this post office.

I visited the post office on 7/2 in the Battleground Village Shopping Center. The woman was late 10…read moreminutes late opening up. Then the woman couldn't get the glass doors to open. She tried to prop the door open and was wearing bedroom slippers. I cannot tell you her name because she was not wearing a name tag. While waiting on customers her computer went down and she had to reboot it. During that time the customers heard a private telephone conversation about her having to much to drink the night before with her boyfriend or girlfriend at this point who cares. After waiting 30 minutes I had to leave. Do better!

I visited here at 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon for the primary person of checking for my missing…read moremail. I went on vacation and utilized the hold service. I was supposed to receive my mail the next day but I did not and several days had passed. While the staff were friendly, my issue was not resolved, which was frustrating. They checked to the back to see if it was there and wasn't. They couldn't tell me any other steps and I was told I had to call customer service, which is an 800 number... That was an annoying process. Calling customer service makes it difficult to get in touch with an actual person and the wait time was long. Thankfully, they have the option for a call back. Nonetheless, I feel like they should be knowledgeable about common issues that may arise such as how to report missing mail online, etc. It was a stressful day.

About a month ago I did an online change of address but immediately realized that I entered the wrong date for my move. I went to this post office to speak with an employee in hope of getting the change order adjusted immediately. The agent I spoke with didn't know what to do, so she conferred with the agent next to her. It was determined that the best course of action was to cancel the address change request and start fresh when it went through, in about three days or so. She entered the cancellation. Except she apparently didn't. I checked online and the change order had not been cancelled. I had to do it myself, no big deal. When I actually did receive notice that the change was cancelled, I waited a few more days (as she had suggested) and then went back to this post office with a change of address card with the correct move date. I figured I'd do it the old-fashioned way with the card this time so I could ensure that no mistake was made. Ironically, I had the same agent. She entered my COA info, even examined my driver's license. But guess what. It's two weeks later, I check the online system, and there's no change of address on file for me. This was not my first negative experience at this post office. The workers are completely indifferent and often rude.

He was being rude to the customer in front of me today and when I called him out on it, he refused to give his name and when asked who the supervisor was, he said, "Me!" Plan to lodge a complaint. This is not a one off thing that you can explain away by saying, "Maybe he's having a bad day"...If so, every day is bad for him. I would avoid this branch at all cost unless youre ready to be treated poorly...

I was the only person in the store. She chose to label other packages in the store instead of assisting me. When questioned, she said the boxes were there first. After 10 minutes of waiting, she has me move to another register. I was trying to see her name plate and she turns it towards me and says "can you see it?!" She was rude throughout my transactions. Then she throws a UPS store card at me and says I can leave my review there. There are many struggling, capable people who would love to have the job that she apparently hates. I am very hopeful that UPS would rather have a pleasant, customer-oriented person representing their company instead of this miserable, bad-mannered, impolite individual. Common courtesy isn't hard. I will not use this location again and also will avoid UPS when possible.
