The people that are working for this business are surely, unfriendly and borderline rude. For example: I asked a question while there was absolutely no ne in the store and the young man behind the counter for me to wait in a harsh tone. No greeting nothing. When we finished our transaction I said thank you, he said nothing and basically abruptly tossed my label to me. This is one of many sour encounters with this staff at this store. read more

I dropped off a package this morning and was handled by one of the most miserable people I've ever met. No good morning, how can I help you and not a thank you when finished. I am surprised this woman is still working there. If she hates her job, then she needs to find another one and definitely nothing in customer service. I will now drive out of my way to find another location just so I don't have to deal with this person. I surprised John, who runs the place, puts up with that behavior. read more

We confirmed with UPS that they never received the package. A driver can't steal packages because once he arrives at the hub there a several people waiting for the truck and watching it while it gets unloaded. There was no "internal scan". The only scan in the system was the one from the UPS store which is a third party owned by a private person. UPS never took possession of the package. You could as well give the package to a bum under a freeway bridge along with $5,- and ask him to take it to UPS. If you're good look he will do it. We have filed a police report for theft. read more

Dawn and the store manager, John, were both so helpful and efficient! They helped ship a large package and found the best rate for me.

I come in to ship a package for someone else and all I ask if "could you tell me the size and weight of this so I can tell my person so she can buy a label" lady proceeds to say "well what's in it" I say "shoes", she replies "well what's zip code is it's going to" and I say "I don't know but it's going to China" she gets even more attitude and goes "CHINA??, well that's gonna be like AT LEAST $200" and I go "ok! :) could you tell me the size please" she has an attitude and goes "well I can't just create the label, and you understand this is going to be expensive" and I reply again, "my person just need size and weight to purchase the label, I have already done this before :)" and so she measures it and tells me with an attitude. Walked out and cried in my car for a bit before going back in and talking to someone else. I wish when workers see this happening they would step up! But no one cared. read more

They really need a line up for those who are just quickly picking up a package. I've waited in line 15-20 mins here, more than once. Package pick ups are much faster than most transactions others are coming in to do. Having 1/3 of the staff members expedite the package pick ups would change this to a 5 star. I'm surprised ratings are so good in here -- I've heard many grumble while in line... mostly those in the same circumstance -- just give us our package and let us get out of here! read more

Every time I use this business they seem put out that I'm shipping something, when that is what they're there for. When I said thank you, the clerk couldn't even be bothered to say you're welcome. I will drive a little farther in the future to avoid this business. read more

The 3 stars is solely for the outrageous price to ship an item, not the service. I was sending a gift to Washington, it weighed one pound and was about 15 inches long. They suggested a flat bubble mailer rolled in half. Simple enough. The price to ship was $22 and the mailer itself $5. With tax it ended up being as much as the gift itself. Ridiculous. I will never use UPS again. read more

DAWN.... One of the rudest people I have ever experienced. I am a year long local and have returned many items back from Amazon. She was Very rude wouldn't take our items then we asked her what kind of packaging would you like us to put our item in (note Amazon doesn't require you to repackage the item if it's a ups drop off) then she went over there grabbed a bag put the item in the bad never asked us then charged us then sat there and told us that we kept giving her the wrong q codes to scan I literally walked her through the 3 items step by step and she sat there and blamed me because she scanned the q code incorrectly. Then she charged me $5 for (Free Amazon returns). I WILL BE GOING THE 10 extra miles next time. Honestly I don't mind paying for it but the fact she was so ignorant and sat there and argued with me they lost my business and everyone in my family. Also she was ignorant to the lady in front of us as well. read more

I went in to pick up a package that was being held. I arrive and a lady behind the counter asked for my name and she already seemed rather bothered. She goes to search for my package and I can already see which is mine. Small package that says this end up. However it's pointing sideways. She brings the package over and says that will be $5.00. Shocked I asked why I'm being charged $5.00. She tells me cause they take responsibility. So I say so when a package is clearly marked live animal, this side up with an arrow, and the package is still pointing the wrong direction, how is that taking responsibility!? Says very rudely says yea whatever, $5.00, press the green button on the card reader. I wasn't accusing her of placing the package that way but still it should have never happened that a package that is marked this side up was carelessly placed sideways and her rude and abrupt attitude was off putting. read more

I'll start with stating that the owner is a wonderful man! I moved to the area last year and had every intention of opening a mail box there (relocating from my previous UPS store). However, after entering the store several times and dealing with inefficient and extremely unfriendly/rude staff (both female), I gave up and renewed my UPS box at the previous location which is about a 40-mile drive each way! The "ladies" who work at this location might as well get jobs with USPS as their attitudes as well as aptitude are more in line with that horrible organization than with a private and competitive entity like UPS. Probably the most friendly customer service in Gold Canyon! Went in for a quick service and dealt with very nice staff that went above and beyond. Nothing I needed was complicated but just the staff has me thinking of moving my box to this location. They are awesome! Printing a few pages was fast and easy. This store is really excellent, although parking can be a little challenging at peak hours. The waiting time for any transaction isn't too great, and they almost always get things done right. Some services are a little overpriced in my opinion, while others are very reasonable. I appreciate their AAA discount. Not sure if they have an AARP discount, but that would be nice, especially given the residents in the area. I'd give this store 5 stars, but I think the owner, John, needs to hire a better staff before doing do. He is always excellent, polite and knowledgeable, but some of his assistants are young and have difficulty at times assisting in some transactions or tasks. One minor complaint, I wish the monthly charge for mailboxes were more reasonably priced. read more

This review is for Danielle(I really hope that is her name!). I needed a few papers printed out for my mortgage broker, but online it was showing that I couldn't pick them up until the following day. I gave the store a call and Danielle was so helpful and told me to email them over and she would have them for me shortly. I got wrapped up in gathering more paperwork and called the store a little before 6(thinking they closed at 8, idk why I didn't check their hours) and she gave me a call back even though the store was closing because she recognized my phone number! She let me run in and grab my paperwork while she was closing up! Wonderful service! She was a lifesaver! I will definitely go back for further needs. read more

Went in to have something notarized at 9:30am...no other customers in the store. Clerk says he can't notorize when he's the only one working. He says between 1-3pm they have additional employees on duty and he can notorize then. I come back at 1:30pm and there is an additional employee in the store (no other customers) and two people in the back sitting and talking. I ask the employee if someone can notorize. She says yes and goes back to ask the guy who was there earlier to notorize for me. He sent her back saying it will be 10 minutes and to go to the bank next door if you don't want to wait. Bottom line...he thinks notary service is too trivial to bother with. Don't like it...don't offer the service. No shipping business from me for a place that doesn't understand that services of convenience lead to business in other areas. read more

Stopped in to ship a package and to have papers notarized. This was at 10 a.m. was told that notary service not available until 2 p.m. told that I can go next door to bank. After waiting 45 minutes in line at bank went back to overnight paperwork. When I returned the employee was notarizing paperwork for another customer. Awkward moment.Poor service. read more
