Longtime customer, deeply disappointed -- avoid this location…read more I've been a loyal customer of the UPS Store on Dawsonville Highway (Store #6134) for years and have always had great experiences -- until today. We accidentally cut the wrong label on one of two packages being shipped and simply needed it corrected. Rather than handling it professionally, the owner stepped in and proceeded to lecture me about the implications and difficulty of fixing the mistake, speaking to me as though I were a child. There was no patience, no warmth, and no acknowledgment that mistakes happen. What made it worse was watching how she interacted with her own employees -- short, dismissive, and condescending. It was clear this isn't just how she treats customers. I've used UPS Stores for years across many locations and have consistently received excellent service. This experience was a stark exception. If you're in Gainesville, skip this location and choose one of the other UPS Stores in the area. I won't be returning to this one.

The management is AMAZING! The owner is on-site everyday, and she is really trying to build a community, not just a library. Coffee is on-site, as well as snacks and sodas; it's a great way to feel connected to other office workers, while maintaining the independence of remote work. Only two downsides, and both of them are consequences of location; it's great to have a space like this well outside the city of Atlanta, but Internet accessibility is limited. Speeds are good, but not great. Additionally, the building itself is about 2 miles from the Interstate, so traffic can sometimes be an issue. Overall though, I'm VERY satisfied with Paradigm.

On 8/30/21 at approximately 1330 hours, I came to this location because it was conveniently located…read moreto me. I needed to send out a small titanium bleeder screw that I sold but the customer didn't want me to mail it out with a normal envelope. So I came here to buy a padded envelope to mail out. I came in and was greeted by a middle Eastern male employee. I handed him the padded envelope and told him I needed to mail it out to CA. He then tells me it will cost $15!! And that this is the flat rate. I was like wtf. I knew this was definitely not the cheapest option as the employee never offered me any other options. I then stated can I just do Usps first class and mail it out. The total then became around $4 which is a lot more reasonable for a screw worth around $20. It didn't seem like this employee had the customer's best interest as most places will offer me different shipping options. If I did but have any previous experience in shipping items out, I would of paid for the $15 shipping fee. I highly don't recommend anybody coming here unless you want to be ripped off. But if you do decide to come here, make sure you know your own shipping options first before you speak to the employee. I attached a copy of the receipt to prove I was an actual customer here. Update: I think it's super funny of the reply by a "professional" business owner. Everything you said is untrue but I wouldn't stoop to your level. But your reply on a public Yelp page lets all the customers know how you treat customers and how "professional," you are. It makes you look even worse. :) Have a great day!
