I went in today to get my passport photos taken (ah, the joy of changing my name - a serious pain in the ass) and made an appointment. I was early, as I always am, and was lucky enough to be helped out immediately by the lovely woman working the counter (black hair just below the shoulders, wearing a mask). While they normally wait to take passport pics until there are two employees there, she was more than willing to snap the photos quickly for me since there was no one else in the store. The pictures were terrible, but that's because I was undercaffeinated and forgot to brush my hair, not due to her photography skills. Thanks to UPS for the quick help! read more

Terrible. I wanted to print a coupon. They charge me for an hour of computer time, when I hadn't even touched a computer. Then the ink didn't even print the whole coupon. It was terrible quality for a print shop. They used to charge 20 cents to print something like that, but today I was charged 2 bucks for a crap job and a fake use of their computer. I've only ever had great service at this UPS store location! I've visited a couple times in recent weeks for amazon returns and the same guy has been working each time. The first day I came in, I waited in line while he patiently helped explain every possible method the customer could mail his check in with tracking, and double checked his spelling and everything else at least once. This has to be the rudest, understaffed, store I have ever been too. 1st time I had to use them. I waited 20 minutes for this young unprofessional, to laugh and ignore me. While she was on a personal cell phone call! BTW, I was the only 1 in the store at the time. By, the time she was done. There were 7 of us. This was before COVID! The clerks at the UPS store at Drake and Lemay in Fort Collins are always quick and efficient with me; as often as not I will walk in and right up to a clerk. Rarely do I have to wait more than a minute or two. Of course, there's always some numbnutz who clogs the system up by coming in unprepared and totally stupid, but the clerks always manage to deal with them with professionalism. It's hard to believe how rude some people can be; it's all I can do some days to NOT step in and help the clerk out a bit . . . sometimes I think it's all a drama played out to the surrounding people. I don't though. I know the clerks are trained and placed for their ability to deal with the good and the bad, and I just bite my tongue and laugh, inside. I am writing a review because whoever was working today 6/21/2020 at 1pm was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL AND SHOULD GET A RAISE OR SOME SORT OF BONUS. The poor guy was dealing with a very rude, stuck up customer over the phone, and I could tell the dude almost wanted to cry out of frustration but was keeping his cool and offering great customer service and was helping me at the same time. Every single time I have come here has been a great customer service experience BUT what I will say is that EVERY customer that comes in is STUCK UP AND RUDE AND INCAPABLE OF BASIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS, and I'm guessing that's everyone who's left a negative review....people who are simply not willing to understand and communicate properly.... I couldn't give GREAT customer service either when just about every customer that walks in THINKS THEY DO EVERYONES JOB BETTER than people who were actually trained to do said job... I never write reviews and literally just downloaded this app so I could review this UPS location. Bad experience here. Phil "your friendly customer associate" was not friendly at all. I ask him to write "fragile" on my box and he said that it wouldn't make a difference at all but he'd do it if I really wanted him too. Then was very snotty when I asked if they had any extra bubble wrap to add to the small box I was shipping. He pointed to a roll of wrap and said if I need it I could Buy it for $10. It doesn't take much to give good customer service and clearly Phill was never taught that. I'll drive out of my way not to go here again! read more

NOT GOOD. My first time at this location - Will not go back. Just wanted to send my brown wrapped package with my prepaid shipping label. The man started to tell me that I had to UNwrap my package and wrap it in CLEAR plastic. I asked him WHY? and told him that I have been sending packages from the other UPS store with NO problem. He just kept saying I had to wrap it in clear plastic AND that he would charge me $1.99 to do that. I told him the package was worth $500 , I was NOT going to clear wrap it. The other worker there was not sure why he was telling me to do this as well. . . . . NONE of the other packages laying in the back were wrapped in it ............ I've been going in there frequently to send some faxes while my fax machine is broken. Everything I walk in I am greeted with a smile and some friendly conversation. They are quick with their service whether it's for opening a mailbox, making copies, faxing documents or sending a package. I'm always in need of business services and I know they will take care of me quickly every single time I walk in the door. I even had to call a different location in Michigan so I could fax a business partner some documents, and they were so kind to let us do that. We made an appointment on UPS.com to use their notary service on a specific Saturday. When we arrived we waited in line to find out that they wouldn't honor that reservation because "they don't really take reservations" and its based entirely on luck whether the notary will be there. That makes that service (which they advertise in store) worthless, and it removed one of the few reasons i would ever patronize this storefront. read more

The lady at the front desk was nice. But when I asked her for a little piece of tape, she insisted that I give a "donation" to get tape. She literally would not put a tiny piece of tape on my box until I gave her a dollar "donation". A) The people running this place do not understand the definition of a donation. B) They got their dollar out of me, but they'll never get another penny C) I'm disappointed at their small minded business tactics. I would give it a one star, except that the lady behind the counter genuinely was trying to be nice at first. As soon as I got a little upset, she became extremely passive aggressive. I just recently moved to Ft. Collins and needed a post office box. I went on the internet and found out UPS stores have post office boxes. This particular UPS store is near by. I am glad I went here. Jesse and Eileen are incredible. They provide top notch customer service. I have used their help besides getting my mail there. I feel like I am dealing with friends instead of a business/customer relationship. When they aren't helping customers, they are quick to say "Hi" when I walk in the door. Absolutely the worst shipping I've ever experienced. I had never had a successful delivery by this horrible place. I've experienced now 3 unsuccessful deliveries where I've waited at home all day to not get a package because who ever delivered it didn't have the curtesy of knocking or leaving a note. When I tried to have this place deliver my package to my buildings leasing office, they still attempted to deliver it to my house. I've had 3 packages sent back because they couldn't follow simple directions. Avoid this place at all cost. read more

I dropped off a couple of packages, on Thursday afternoon, and was very pleased with the customer service at this location. My packages both had pre-paid labels on them so I dropped them and was quickly headed out the door. One of the gals working, ran out to catch me before I left, notifying me that one of my printed labels did not print properly therefore wouldn't scan properly -- she then prompted me to reprint my label at the store. I use them for many services notaries in particular and Susan M is always the kindest sweetest thing when I go in she knows me by name and that makes me feel great. Most employees don't even acknowledge their customers much anymore and I always feel welcome in this store and the service is great. I just called about getting a quote to ship 5 large boxes to another state. I asked if UPS would come pick them up and ship them. The associate was so confused by my question it was ridiculous. I said the weight was 1000lbs, he said they needed to have the weight per box, I said 5 boxes ea weighing 200lbs. This isn't rocket science - I just need a quote. After putting me on hold and coming back with a bunch of questions, he said I'd have to take the boxes to the Loveland office. I AGAIN explained the boxes are too big to move in a car - that's why I asked if UPS would pick them up - he said no. That was 15 minutes I'll never get back. This place used to be great but not anymore. I have used their services for over 8 years because I own a nearby business and I want to support my local neighborhood businesses. The last few times they have been slow, refused to do a service (shredding) and most recently refused to take amex (business card and expense). The last person to help me there was friendly enough but someone who I assume is the owner just sat on a stool and creepily stared the entire 10 minutes I was in the store. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PACKAGE TO THESE PEOPLE! Recently drop of a package that was tightly packed with Mold Slides that was 44 pounds and was 18x12x12. When it got to our client the box was 20x20x20 and the slides were just thrown in. Obviously they dropped and broke the box and just threw our product in another larger box and removed the shipping label form the old box and put it on the new box, never think anyone would find out about it. Except our client call and sent pictures so I am able to send them to UPS. I will also be calling Fox News and let them know what these people did and I will also be contacting UPS Legal to see what we can do to the franchisee. read more

I have used this location for years, always with varying results. The last package sent = the staff simply offended me. Specifically, the package was sent 2nd day air. It arrived ten days later due to UPS self-admitted fault. UPS (company) guaranteed full refund even before the package arrived (finally). But - the refund has to be issued where the package was sent. This UPS Store admitted this is true, confirmed the refund was justified on the phone with UPS and then THREE times failed to complete the paperwork they said was required. Each time I go back, I start over. The last time Robbin Stha promised over and over it would be refunded. Five weeks later - again no action. Insulting and rude. Very poor customer service since the staff has changed from a year ago. Avoid! read more

Used this location multiple times with no problems until the last package I sent. package made it to its destination and then they turned around and shipped it back to me because it got damaged. they even opened the box and cleaned out the glass they broke and taped back up to return back to me. Isn't that illegal to open someone else's mail without notifying the sender or receiver? After I told them that it was fine to deliver damaged they refused and told me it was damaged because the way I packaged it. How does a package make it to its destination and then all of a sudden get damaged while out for delivery? Also refused to refund my 90 dollars for shipping said it was my fault it was damaged. I moved to Fort Collins almost a year ago. I've been using the post office for all of my mailing needs. This last week I finally had the last frustration with the post office that I was willing to experience. A package I mailed "Priority" on November 28th to California, still has not arrived on December 5th. I tracked it and it said "delayed". I decided to check out the UPS Store near me. I always thought that it would be more expensive or as slow as the post office. I was wrong. I went in there tonight to mail some packages, again to California and Colorado. The people who worked there were so friendly and helpful. They gave their full attention and energy to the customers. My packages are going to get to the recipients faster and less expensively then they will though the post office. The employees were very professional and knowledgeable. I feel no concern about my packages getting there. From now on I will use this UPS Store for all of my mailing needs. read more

I had my son in law ship my Apple laptop to me and found out it was 275.00 overnight with insurance. About 26.00 for materials and to package and the rest shipping. WTF so I said send it ground with no insurance and it was 120.00. So to send a 8 lb laptop, ground from Fort Collins to Two Harbors MN, you can charge little over 90.00 for shipping. I then contacted two UPS stores in Minnesota and they said that was highway robbery. Called them three times, left a message, no return call. Sent an email, no response. Contacted Corporate in CA and they said have to work with the store itself. Well I guarantee the rate they charge and the poor customer service shown not only to my son in law but the lack of service in responding to my inquiries, this place won't be in business to long. I purchased a box at this store. I returned it because it was too big. I brought it with the receipt. It had small tape marks. The owner was very nasty!!! It would have been okay if she had politely stated she couldn't take the box back. But she was unbelievably nasty and rude. She had accused me of putting tape on the box as if I had totally destroyed the box!!! What awful service!! Never going back. I use to go to there all the time because it was so close to my house. Charging $1.50 for a SINGLE black/white printed page off your outdated computer is pure ROBBERY. You have no justification or excuse for charging that! The local library and CSU's library only charges $.04 -.06 cents for a black/white single printed page! Why such a HUGE price difference with you guys? I must add the poor quality of the print I received as well... which wasn't fully black ink, but rather a fading color you can barley see! Definitely worth $1.50..NOT! LMAO. Also, I love how you guys charge $5.00 for 5 minutes to use your computer from the early 2000's that doesn't even have an updated web browser and takes 5 minutes just to load a page. Another way to SCAM people? With the ridiculous amount of money you charge people why haven't you guys updated to a modern computer to use LOL? I honestly think this is just a way to take advantage of older people who are novice and incompetent at using a computer and/or printing.
