We give UPS about 92% of them - the rest go to the USPS Ground Advantage / Priority Mail systems. We know a good post office when we see it. The negative reviews further down this page are from a time (YEARS AGO) when this post office did deserve what you see posted. There was a man named Dana, the postmaster at the time, who just about single handily created the 2.4 star rating on their main profile. Our business would bring a good amount of packages every day, only to be greeted by an individual who was nothing but put out to see us. Every. Single. Time. Really awkward exchanges, stares and just flat out rude. He wouldn't even let us use the mail totes for business purposes like every other post office in the nation does. We had to purchase our own totes from ULINE, then he would try to hang on to them when we handed the mail over. It was incredible. The current blonde woman at the counter is a HUGE breath of fresh air for us. She most recently renewed our business P.O. Box and was very kind, helpful and thorough. It appears the employees in the back are significant upgrades as well. All of our customer orders go out every day like clock work (we check the tracking a couple hours after they are dropped off). I have informed delivery and sometimes never get the mail I am supposed to get. The latest is a mail order prescription that supposedly was delivered in my mailbox at 2:11PM today. Guess what. Mailbox is empty. Now on my 8th call to the post office only to here the busy signal again. They should all be terminated and replaced. Horrible, just plain horrible. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a little store with some good quality Xmas gifts. Then as I walked towards the back of the store, there is a dry cleaning business. Service was relatively quickly and somehow a whole bunch of us come up with little silly jokes. A lot of chuckles and it was my turn in no time. Quick turnaround and payment using the Square. I will be back just because it's such a quaint little store and I'm hoping to come back for more jokes - all kid friendly too.

The lines were long but they got people through quickly. The clerks that I got were friendly and helpful in making sure I got what service i wanted for my packages. They also have the self service stations that are super easy to use as well. Have never had a bad experience. They have a tough job dealing with all kinds of people. I have always appreciated my experience there.

The times that I have come into this post office though, the staff has seemed stressed out and not overly friendly. In my most recent visit, I didn't know if they had self serve. There are no obvious signs and long lines and no one around to ask. When I finally got up to the door, I asked if there was self serve as the employee was going to close the door. I opted to go over to the self serve. There is only one self serve station so be forewarned if you go over there. If anyone is in front of you they may take just as long as the line. It is on the west entrance. This post office is smaller as well and just not as user friendly. Will try to stick with the JFK office when i need postal needs. This one just has not ever been overly impressive.

They always greet me by name when I come in. Whether I'm faxing something (god, who does that anymore!?) or needing to mail off an oddly-shaped widget, Mail & Copy has always had my back. They get small business owners. Do they get everything right? Hell, I don't get everything right. But I've never had an issue big enough to complain about with Mail & Copy - and certainly much more to sing their praises about, which is why I'm leaving them a 5-star review. I'm not one to quibble over a few dollars here or there, but comparatively, their rates for mailboxes are pretty competitive. I've also never had the issue Alden mentioned - in fact, Brad often mentions various ways to *reduce* the cost of what I'm trying to send along. When I bring in pre-stamped packages - I've only been asked once to add postage to it (and - if you've ever worked with a warehouse shipping department, the sensitivity of the scale is everything). Nope, Mail & Copy is legit. I'm pretty damn picky about who I'll do business with, and these folks are walking on water as far as I'm concerned. Keep up the good work!

I needed a specialty box to return something to Amazon.com and no one in town seemed to have one. So, I was starting to freak out about returning this item. I called Leonard's and he said, "I have two of them." I drove down later that day and he had the boxes out waiting for me. I grabbed the one that worked best for me. I also needed some bubble wrap and purchased that. Leonard refused to charge me for the elusive box, so I left him a decent tip on the counter, because he went out of his way for me. The best part of Leonard's that I haven't mentioned is that it is next door to the Old Town post office and there is never a line at Leonard's. So you can either wait in the Post Office line or go to Leonard's and find out which is cheaper between the USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
