I had a sub-par experience that at least ended up okay. We came here to have them pack (only since we needed a larger box) several wrapped gifts and ship them. We thought everything went well, until the package arrived at its destination when I happened to be there and realized one of the gifts in the box was missing. If I hadn't been there, nobody would've known anything was missing. When I realized it was missing, I called the store and they first were going to file a claim. They then called me back to say they found the missing package and they were sending it to its destination for free. I appreciate them finding the package and resolving the situation. I'll come back here but next time I'll probably be sure and pack my own box rather than let them do so. read more

This is my go to ups store. Most of the time you walk in drop your package off and are done. Sometimes they have a line, big deal. They are friendly and helpful and I don't think you should hold them responsible for UPSs prices. Even if they weren't a franchisee, I don't think they'd let a random store set prices for their entire network. All in all a better experience than other ups stores I've been to. read more

This location is much slower and disorganized than others I have been to in the area. They get the job done and the few staff members they do have working at any given time are generally fine, but they don't seem to have have enough support to keep things consistently running smoothly or efficiently. The line for service frequently gets extremely long and extraordinarily slow at seemingly random times, and this can turn a simple drop off that would take 1 minute at most locations into an inexplicably tedious, 30+ minute ordeal. It gets the job done perfectly fine in the end. But it's definitely not my preferred location. read more

I've been coming to this store more frequently in the past year, mostly for Amazon returns, and I've been pleasantly surprised by their customer service. The sales associates are always fast and polite when getting through a long line of customers. I've never had a problem making a return, finding parking, or waiting too long. I came here to ship a package to france. It was $1000 to ship just a 60 pound package there, so I asked for other prices. Ben told me my phone could not be insured in my packaging because he claimed I was just scrounging up random pieces of corrugate and ups would not be responsible. This was racially motivated I am sure because his black colleague told me I was allowed to get insurance. Ben was also very impatient and claimed I had been there over an hour and asked for a million different estimates, when in reality I had been there just 45 minutes and asked for just 10 estimates. I ended up paying $200 to ship the phone, but he forgot to ask me to confirm that the recipient would be there due to his impatience and racism. So, because of him, I had to come back the next day. This happened a month ago but today they told me I had to pay for free amazon returns. read more

They don't speak spanish. They always direct me to Ben but he has terrible grammar. He uses the informal tense instead of the formal tenses. He doesn't understand how to differentiate between the post office and ups. The black teen who wears a mask and gloves, but never has a name tag on is very rude. He pretended in english (I understand it better than Ben understands spanish) that the store is a mom and pop shop and not part of ups. Translated from spanish: No hablan español. I stopped by the other day to drop off return packages for Amazon. There was 1 other customer ahead of me and 2 employees in the store. One of the employees was helping this customer while the other employee was standing there contemplating on the meaning of life (I'm guessing). I waited patiently for him to acknowledge me and assist me, but that did not happen. Quoted me $47 plus $2.50 for every hundred dollars to ship A WATCH. I can't even begin. I live in South Florida and ship across the country and internationally through all carriers. the most egregious was $80 to pack, ship and send a very fragile studio art piece - and that included the insurance and packing materials (double boxed) with the packing done and guaranteed by the UPS store I used. that piece measured 9" x 9". This place wanted $62 FOR A WATCH. I can't say it enough. "Shipping is expensive" but this is an outright joke. read more

I was impressed by everything. Although the line was quite long, it was entirely because of the store's popularity, not slowness of the staff. In fact, the staff seemed to be very engaged: they were moving quickly and multitasking. Ben's bilingual skills were fantastic the way he helped some customers ahead of me extremely patiently. My husband & I have been patrons of this UPS store for several years. I don't understand why the reviews are not all 5 stars on Yelp. The owner and his staff are exceptional in all ways. They are usually pretty busy but they do an excellent job processing various types of orders swiftly & accurately. The wait time is commendable - especially in light of all they have to do to prepare and send packages accurately to the designated locations. They always ask if you are a member of different businesses to give customers applicable discounts. They are courteous and experts in their field. This is the one place that I don't dread going to with my packages. If all businesses ran their shops the way this owner does, this world would be a better place. read more

This place is fast. I still prefer to go to another UPS a couple minutes further because the tall caucasian brunette male is quite intimidating and not approachable at all. I've tried to go at different hours, but he pretty much is always working. He does not speak (just gestures for your attention) and is so unpleasant, it feels like you are inconveniencing his time. When I come in for Amazon returns I usually do so at other ups stores. This one I try to avoid, because they are unique. they charge to scan the code, don't package it for free, and they charge to tape packages. in short, there are sneaky tactics this location uses to line their pockets. I have been coming here for quite a while sporadically mostly for prepaid returns and most of my encounters with the employees are straightforward and professional. However, on multiple occasions I have observed the bald employee raising his voice at other customers and people on the other side of the phone. The manager's response to me was to "Open up a case with UPS." Not helpful, waste of money and just a terrible way to do business. My fiancee went to this UPS store with licensed service dog today, the employee John treated my fiancee and service dog extremely rude with yelled tone, even after my fiancee explained this is service dog, John still expressed angry attitude with no patient, no respect to customer, this is absolutely discrimination behavior. During the mailing service, our item need a box, John didn't ask the box type selection and which delivery service would customer need, John directly ask for payment. This is most unprofessional service we ever seen in UPS of United States. We'll working with our attorney to handle this discrimination case, John's behavior today is unprofessional and unlawful. I've always had positive experiences at this UPS store - friendly employees, clean, etc. During the current crisis, they appear to have taken many extra precautions like having everyone in face masks, marking waiting distance on the floor with tape, and erecting plastic shields between employees and customers. Wait times are a little bit longer due to all of this (understandably) but I definitely appreciate the work and pleasant demeanors, as well as the efficiency, of the employees here who have to be at their essential job. read more

Gets the job done in terms of being a place where you can ship/pick up items, print documents, etc. - basically what I'd expect from a UPS Store. That being said, the employees aren't particularly friendly or helpful and seem taken aback when asked to provide assistance; additionally, there is a $2 fee just to USE the printer that does not include anything actually printed. I know this is a small amount of money, but I opt not to come here unless I'm in a pinch, this fee rubs me the wrong way when there are multiple other places in the area that simply charge for each page printed. I also find the employees here less than friendly. Yesterday I went in to return a gift I received from Amazon. The worker told me only the sender could return the item and there was nothing he could do. As it turns out, a return can be accomplished online for a gift with Amazon providing a shipping label. The workers look very unhappy and are definitely disengaged from customers. I still use the 7 cornets location because eventually they get the job done even though they use the fewest possible syllables possible. The employees' behavior does not affect me personally because I know it's not about me. But for their own sakes, I wish they were happier. read more

The owner is rude and was hostile to me from the minute I walked in. First, I was clearly next in line and he intentionally offered to help a guy behind me so I had to uncomfortably announce I was next. Then he made seemingly racially-motivated comments to me when I questioned why he refused to help me package my returns (even though Amazon said I didn't need to for several of them). He told me I needed to buy tape and package them myself. When I explained that the other UPS location nearby always helps me do this free of charge bc it says that packaging isn't needed, he basically told me to go there instead and accused me of being "demeaning" which implied I was being racist. Not true at all! He clearly has an axe to grind and perhaps I was an easy target? A white woman with my kid? Maybe he was annoyed by the return task? Maybe he was having a bad day? Maybe he just didn't want to provide excellent customer service? But no need to be rude and imply racism. I won't be giving them my business again, and will return back to the helpful and friendly location on Langston Blvd in Arlington instead where they help with a smile. read more

Really got me out of a bind!! Bertram, the store owner, went above and beyond any reasonable expectations for customer service. I visited the local area last week, lost my phone, tracked it down to a cab company, however they would not ship it back to me in California. I contacted the UPS Store and Bertram went down the street, picked it up, Overnighted it to me and I received it 10am the next morning! No questions asked! A decent, perhaps better than average, UPS store as part of Seven Corners Shopping Center in Falls Church. The inside of the facility was clean, spacious, had a lot of services and offerings, and overall had a positive vibe to it. The hours are good too. The service was efficient and got the job done. As with the rest of Seven Corners Shopping Center the road structure around it is a bit fractal and thereby requires some particular care when trying to get to it. read more

PASS. I had what I can only describe as the worst experience I've ever had trying to ship something at this store, and I wasted an hour of my time. The owner closes at 7pm, overprices every single item in the store, and he won't let customers pack anything in the store themselves. This last factor was the biggest issue - I had to ship an item quickly, and didn't have packing materials with me... I was told that I could a) pay the store $44 (wow!) to pack the item for me, b) purchase $17 worth of packing materials (had to even buy my own tape) and GO OUTSIDE (in the freezing cold and high winds) TO PACK THE ITEM MYSELF, or c) go somewhere else. I won't waste more of my time elaborating on the details. After spending an hour and $17 at this store, I gave up, went down the road to the FedEx store in Baileys Crossroads, and mailed the package within 10 minutes. The only good thing about this place was the younger Hispanic dude behind the counter, who was very helpful and (from what I can guess) is basically just there to apologize for the owner's ridiculous nonsense. This was the best experience I've ever had at a ups store. The owner helped me through shipping 5 pieces of luggage which I had never done before. He made the process so easy and was kind enough to provide me zip ties, an estimate before I brought the luggage in, and just overall amazing service. Bertram the owner, has always given us excellent service,but when he is not there, forget it! We have always used him as our Notary, but the other day when we went to have the same type of document notarized, the exact same thing that Bertram has been doing for us for YEARS, this other notary refused to do it, and was very, very rude. He wouldn't even read the document even when I asked him to review it and it says plainly that he, the undersigned notary, was being asked to attest to my husband being the person before him as still being alive, even when I explained to him that it was the same document type that Bertram had notarized for us many times. Bertram has to be on the same page as this notary and find out why he wouldn't notarize the document because he claimed it had to say that my husband should sign it front of him, when the document said no such thing and there was no area for him to sign anyway. We do not plan on returning here ever again, since the other notary was so uncooperative. read more

Incredibly dismissive. To his credit, he acknowledged me immediately to say he would be with me in a minute but I asked if I could service myself at the printer directly as to not bother him while he was busy and he quickly and rudely said repeated himself "I will be with you in a minute". Once he was with me, I asked him how I could print two sheets of paper, and he said it would be $5. I asked how it was $5 to print two pages. Then he says, well it's $2 and then whatever the cost to print the pages are. He then asks me for my thumbdrive at the self-service printer. I decline to give it to him and ask how much is it to print the pages, bc I am not going to pay $5 without understanding the breakdown. And he says, like 12 cents or something. So he didn't give me a direct answer and was very wishwashy about it. It was not clear and very sketchy. read more

I wasn't sure how to return an Amazon item after the return date had expired and he found the Amazon service hotline for me and coached me on negotiating an exception to their return policy. You expect to have your things packed up when you go to a UPS store. This is the first store that I've ever been to that refuse to pack anybody's stuff because they only had one person working. I was told I'd have to come back in 45 minutes to an hour to pick up my box. In addition the owner refuses to allow customers to pack up anything in the store. Very Poor customer service and The owner is not flexible. I would highly recommend going to another UPS store because if you are in a rush you may not get the service you need and they will ask you to come back. read more
