This is on uwchlan Ave in Exton and in a small strip mall. The parking at this facility is common parking and mostly okay and could be challenging based on the time you visit. I stopped here for a quick ups drop-off package. The place has copier machines for usage, packing supplies, and shipping options. Although the supply price might be on a little high side , it's out there if you need it on an urgent basis. Well I used to get great service here & I'd give them 0 stars if I could. I understand it's the holiday season & it gets super busy but having lazy & deceitful employees is not a good look for a business. I go in after work to do an Amazon return...per the company's instructions I just take the package to a UPS store & no need to package it as they'll do it. I've done this several times & at this UPS store with no problems & up until today the customer service was great. So, I go stand in line ...I'm thinking I got lucky as it's only 2 people ahead of me...well then the UPS store employee tells me that if it's an Amazon return I have to use the Amazon return kiosk. Ok great so off I go ...I scan my bar code & it says if it needs to be packaged I need see an associate .... Well, now I have to get back in line & while at the kiosk 10 more people came in with a whole bunch of packages. At this point I'm frustrated as there's only 2 employees & as you can imagine it's going slow...so I just print up the label & go straight to the UPS store employee that told me I had to use the kiosk... The UPS store employees proceeds to scold me loudly in front of everyone about the kiosk giving me instructions if it needed to be packaged & since I printed the label now I have to buy what I needed from their selection & pack it myself... At this point I'm just angry, Thanked UPS store employee for her no help & took the item back, put the label on it & dropped it in the Amazon return. All while the UPS store employee voiced her attitude towards me. How hard is it to just be competent at your job ...I've worked retail & customer service before so I know what it's like . The associate knew that if it needed to be packaged that it would send me to see an associate...so why not say to customers " If you have an Amazon return that doesn't need to be packaged you can use the Amazon kiosk ". Instead of misleading them, making them waste their time & to then get back in line to wait all over again. Then to be informed with attitude that they then have to buy their own packing item/s that they have available if you print out the label... So, heads up...do not listen & use the Amazon return kiosk if it needs to be packaged or you'll get stuck back in line with crappy customer service. I'll be using another UPS store before I go back to whoever was working Friday 12/1 at 5 pm. read more

I have stopped at this UPS store multiple times. It is by far the friendliest store with the most helpful employees. Very knowledgeable about what they offer. A shout out to Emily who seems to be the person who is usually working when I come in. She ALWAYS wears a smile and makes you feel welcomed. She is very good at what she does. Steve the owner is very helpful and readily available to answer my questions. A great store that offers so much. Parking has never been a problem for me. This store is hit or miss. I got tired of waiting in line outside in the cold and went back to my car to leave. Suddenly I saw everyone who had been in front of me in line, leave and go to their cars. I decided to try again. If I could give a negative star review I would. First I was told that having my package wrapped in thick brown packaging paper (shopping bag thickness) was not sufficient and they wouldn't mail my package. I left and found packaging tape (you know, mailing tape) and tried again. I was then told repeatedly to "please leave" (the store) by Duncan McCaskell when I questioned why my packaging wasn't sufficient. Not only was he smug and arrogant and refused to mail my package due to how I had it packaged (completely wrapped in packing tape after being told that paper wasn't good enough or it had to be in Amazon packaging) but he was belittling and demeaning. Newsflash - Amazon uses paper mailers (so that would have been OK)!!! Maybe they didn't like me being smart by having it in plastic this time? Worst employee EVER!!! When I was told that paper could disintegrate or be destroyed I offered for any of them (the 3 men that refused to accept my package) to try to open my newly taped package, while I also offered to demonstrate how I could easily rip through their bubble mailers. This make Makes ZERO sense and is complete nonsense and idiocy! The store simply wanted to sell me a box which I refused and then when I came back with it properly packaged they still refused. I guess Duncan doesn't like being shown that he's wrong. The Thorndale store said my package was perfectly packaged and was happy to assist me by mailing it. When I called back to speak to the owner I was given a name and told that I was a liar and then I was hung up on by again, guess who?? - Duncan. Save yourselves the headache and go to FEDEX or USPS!! read more

I went this morning to drop off an Amazon return. I was there immediately before opening at 8:00 am (posted on the internet and the door) and waited until 8:30 for someone to open the store. I stepped up to return the item and was told it needed to be in a box (it was in a clear bag). This was not indicated on the Amazon site and has not been the case for previous returns. This last bit was not the fault of the ups store, but I was already out of patience for waiting on a 30 minute late opening. I left and called Amazon to make other arrangements. This is the closest drop off point for me, but is still out of my way by quite a bit. I will look for other options in the future. read more

The miserable woman at the register watched myself and at least two others walk in with simple drop offs and we waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged by anyone only to tell me and two other people that she couldn't help with our drop offs after 6:50, I had been in the store since 6:40 walked out at 7:05 only to not be helped in any way. I required some assistance with an Amazon return. With help from Anthony and Jules from the UPS store in Heritage Center,Exton, Pa., I was soon on my way. They were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And they were both very pleasant and friendly. Initially I was assisted by Jules, then Anthony helped me while Jules assisted the customers coming in. No one waited. I was impressed with the young man who waited on us at the Exton, PA UPS location tonight. He was on his own with many people in line and yet ever so patient, knowledgeable and focused. Have used this store for years for print, ship, and copy, but have noticed a change in management over the last 6 months to a year. Today I was in twice bc the line was too long the first time. On my first visit, one employee was watching a video on his phone and had his mask around his chin. The second time another employee was talking on his phone while also talking to me, and I was very confused when he called one of us "baby". The same guy as earlier was still not wearing a mask and was approaching customers with no attempt to put on his mask. His manager was there and did not say anything. read more

I sent a very sentimental package out from here 2-day air on a time crunch and when the package was accidentally missed at the weekend pickup the manager was very helpful and accommodating and made sure my package arrived on-time. This store is often the most affordable option anyways but now I will 100% use this location for all my shipments in the future. Great customer service and that can be very hard to find these days! The Exton UPS store made the usual madness of holiday shipping surprisingly easy and delightful. Aside from the 5 minute wait in the cold (safety for Covid-19 prevents too many customers inside at a time) it was super easy and the young woman who helped me (Jazlyn) was simply the best! She was cheerful and helpful and very sweet. I snuck in right before closing, and although is was clear they had been slammed all day, she was so friendly and kind. Huge kudos to this UPS store, they are NOT all the same. I will go out of my way to support this level of customer service! read more

Where do I start on this review perhaps the worst experience I ever had. I presented with two packages which would cost $23 each to mail I brought in a third package which was twice the size of the first two packages the same content of the first two boxes I simply put them in a larger single box. so you would think it would cost $46 or a little bit more being it was just twice the first two packages . He rings it up and says that'll be 200 dollars to send the third package. I asked him to break down the third package in to two boxes that would be the same size as the $23 one that he couldn't understand what I was telling him the only thing that came close to this was a Seinfeld episode. The lady in the photo was talking on her personal phone (either buying something and providing her credit card information) while trying to process my order the same time. Within minute of leaving the store, I realized she had typed the wrong Verizon order number provided to her for my equipment return. After having to go back into the store and waited in line to ask her to correct the mistake, she got very defensive with raised voice and not willing to help. She indicate that my number provided in the email did not take in the system and the new number was what came up. She ask that I call Verizon instead of correcting her mistake. I thought of what she said is true then all I need is her name and signature or some document to link my order number to her order processing. She simply would not willing to help or reprocess. Her reaction was totally unacceptable and should not be in job that interact with customers. All I want for her is to fix her mistake or at least try to fix it. I then had to wait a full hour in the store until the manager to help me. The manger apologized and reprocess the return order with my correct number without any issue in the system. He further packed it up in front of me to ensure I saw it boxed and shipped. This was my first time and the last time to coming to this UPS store. What should have been a quick equipment return ended with a 2+hr of commitment and frustration. What a joke! read more

This is probably they worst UPS location I have been to in all my life. Extremely poor customer service. I thought the first couple times the attendant was just having a bad day but now that it is consistent I know they pride themselves on terrible service. I guess the $3.00 tape charge is their racket, I was also told $3 for tape just to close up a simple mailer envelope, needless to say I refused to pay and walked out to mail my item elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I have gone to the one in Downingtown (near Thorndale) on other occasions and they were so nice. The attendant, a woman, even went to my car with me to help me get my heavy package out with her dolly. No charge! That's what I call good customer service and she didn't charge me for tape like this place. read more

I have used this store a couple times over the last several years. 2 years ago I went in there to ship a small package and was informed that they are now charging for tape the package was literally 8 in Long they want it $2 for a 12 inch piece of tape and were extremely rude about it. I took my package and vowed never to go back into the store again. Recently I had purchased something from Amazon and they directed me to a UPS Store who would pack it and ship it and do everything for you. I dropped the package off at the store as Amazon requested and everything seemed to go smoothly. However, a week later I tried tracking the package and it was still showing like it had never been packed or shipped from the store. I went into the store only to find out that they had a huge pile of Amazon returns and they said that they do them in batches and for me to check back in a few days I waited another eight days went back into the store yesterday and found that the pile had grown significantly large plus they had another five or six boxes filled of Amazon returns that they haven't done in the last two or three weeks. Labels were falling off of the items. The person behind the counter who I first spoke with was extremely rude and unwilling to help in any way. One of the other sales associates came over and let me a hand I wanted my package back and I was going to take it somewhere else. I would not use this door again for any reason. Go to the Reagent Express Center. They are very friendly courteous and will pack your items and tape them for you at no charge. I have not had a problem with them since using them after my issues with the UPS Store . read more

Got to love UPS pricing. I recently took shredding to a competitor, not realizing the price at UPS is 70% LESS! Won't make that mistake again. I stopped in Yesterday to mail a pre-paid return. Original packaging but I left it open to avoid content questions. They told me it would be $3.50 to run 12 inches of tape across the top of the box, wow. So I complained.. asked for the manager who said "I don't make the prices".. well, he does choose when to apply them and when not to as this is a franchise (per UPS.com) He said "I" was being rude. Went to drop off Amazon book rentals with the prepaid labels. The books were already boxed but not taped. They charged me $3 for 3 pieces of tape. I have returned many books to Amazon before. I never had to pay for the tape to close the box, not even at the USPS! Fedex store down the street bends over backwards to help you, in simple cases like this, free of charge!!
