I go up to the counter bc I needed to print one document on heavier paper. I've done this several times before at this same location. The gal working looks panicked as I explain to her what I'm hoping to accomplish. She asks if I can come back around noon. I cannot. She tells me she's in the middle of printing a big order, which I can understand but this is a print center. There's more than one printer. Surely two printers can run at the same time- and she can accommodate the customer standing in front of her who needs to print 1 8.5x11" doc? Nope. Because they're short staffed. So I left. I get it. Labor shortages, she was in the middle of a project and I've never worked in a print center; however, I wasn't asking her to do a large format print that would require trimming, lamination, etc. Sigh....

Great service starts with Shaina…read more I needed to print out my Covid results from Walgreens (I know you read that review) to bypass the mandatory Hawaii quarantine rule. The United Airline site states they don't take digital copies at the airport so I came here. Lucky I was able to use a computer and printer. The only way to unlock the computer is to slide your credit card and click the acknowledgment button. It's simple. Unfortunately the "travel.Hawaii.gov" website was not so cooperative. Icons didn't open and drop downs didn't work at first using either Windows 10 or Chrome. This is why I have an Apple. And time is ticking. The only reason I mention this is because you pay by the minute and there's the icon showing you the cost. I was lucky to have Shaina help me. She was puzzled as me but putting our heads together and $5 later, we figured it out. That included trying to get the scanner working. She assured me that all my PPI would be cleared out of the computer once I logged out. Overall four stars. Great service and Shaina attitude towards this whole fiasco was pleasant. I would definitely come here again for all my printing or shipping needs. Now excuse me, it's dinner time. Ooh what's Mike's BBQ? M

I ultimately submitted a design of two 24"x36" posters to them for print. I did the graphic design myself, and i messed up cleaning my birds a little, as I was rushed. If you need, Instant Signs & Prints also offers graphic design service for additional cost. They also mounted it originally for foam core, but we mounted on thin piece of wood. It was a wedding welcome sign and guest table seating. Instant Signs and Prints was also one of the more reasonably priced businesses, as fast turnaround was much more expensive at other places. To print two 24"x36" posters and mount on foam core cost around $90. The only negatives is they only open Monday-Fridays, no weekends. And parking is slightly hard as its located in a tight alley.

The documents only had a small amount of color at the bottom of some of the pages. I had no idea that I needed to specifically select black and white again, or that having even a small amount of color would significantly increase the price. If the pricing is going to be that different, customers should be clearly informed beforehand that color printing costs X amount per page compared with the black-and-white rate. What makes it even more frustrating is that these documents are for a school assignment and will ultimately just be thrown away. I would have gladly selected black and white if the pricing had been made clear before I submitted the print job. The lack of transparency and customer service made this a very frustrating experience.
