I saw the reviews and was glad they were nearby...called them and spoke to a very nice gentleman who told me to go online and fill out a quote request which I did. I'm not a tech person at all and don't know much about computers or labels....so I filled out the request and uploaded the files I needed for labels. I called to follow up and was rushed by the person who answered and also told that they were shorthanded that day...and this person seemed rude...telling me that there was no such thing as a scratch proof label...she asked if I was wanting something to coat the top of the label. Well like I said I don't know anything about labels (which is why I contacted them). I had made some labels at the office and the color just scratched off with ease so I thought I'd find out if someone could make me a better label. Then I took the label I just described up to this place and went inside with it to show them what had happened so they would understand better. I was explaining to someone in front that I'm the guy that called earlier and then as I was explaining the person who I spoke to walked out and I again got the vibe that I was bothering them and she again made me feel like my business wasn't wanted. Quote was to take 48 hours but it ended up being double that time. In their defense I said if your busy...send it when you can...honestly just hoping they would treat me nicer....when I did finally receive the quote (email of course) I just responded....thanks. I won't ever work with them. I know all the reviews are great....maybe she just didn't like the way I filled out the quote or the way I look but neither of us will lose any sleep over the poor experience. I'm surprised by the treatment....she made me feel stupid quite honestly. I reached out to another printing company close to where I work and it's been an amazing experience so that made me feel better. The first thing the other company asked me was if I wanted a scratch proof label....Printing PS told me there was no such thing. Awful experience. Bad communication. I came in early January from Kelly Paper bc it was recommended for printing wedding invitations. I was greeted by Monika and she took all my info down and gave me Meagan's email so I could email my documents and get a quote. From then on, all communication were done through emails with Meagan whose communication was untimely to the point that i had to send a couple of follow-up emails. Documents were ready to go and it took a month to actually get it printed. I had a specific request because we wanted the invitations to have deckled edges instead of a clean cut edge, I asked not to trim at the trim marks. Long story short, some of the edges were cut exactly at the trim marks, other edges were not. So, we couldn't do the deckled edges we originally planned to do. My fiancé returned to the shop and explained that they did not do what I asked specifically. Meagan said she did what she did to save sheets of paper and save money. I would have loved to have been given the options to choose whether I wanted it done RIGHT or save a few bucks. She also continued on to say there was a miscommunication with me during our email correspondence. This contradicted her earlier statement with saving sheets of paper bc she clearly knew what i was asking for. She told my fiancé if I was truly unhappy with it, she would print out 30-40 invitations for free the way I wanted it. Nice offer, but what's the point of wasting paper? I'd have 30-40 done differently from the other 100. At the end, we just had them trim at the correct dimensions. read more

I was charged $14 for 5 copies of a simple presentation handout that has been SIGNIFICANTLY less costly at other places and the older lady working also could not figure out how to print 4 slides per sheet in order. It was a bit complicated and I brought my own paper. I happened upon this place through Yelp since we needed paper copies while on business in Escondido, and when we came here I was immediately pleased just because of the pricing!! 6 cents per b/w copy is way better than 12 compared to Staples. They can also give you quotes for other needs such as mailers, which is super cool. The ladies are all very friendly, and Meagan was very helpful when we inquired about doing more business getting business cards, among other needs. (UPDATE: I wanted to update and change this review since I was contacted by Meagan-the person i first had talked to about my order. She is great and definitely changed my first walk-in impression. I know she will go above and beyond to make sure your business is handled with care and professionalism. Never had an issue with the quality of the job. Great local print shop. ) As far as the print job is concerned I have no issues with. Good communication over email and over the phone prior. But when I walked in person to pick up my business cards I made for a customer, I open them up to check them out just to check colors, sheen, and thickness. That is it. Not to check spelling errors. If there was a problem It would be wise to address it there. Whether I had to pay again wasn't an issue. To me if it isn't right..the cost isn't the concern on a small job like this, as to having the right product in my hand to deliver. As I was quickly looking them over, about 20 seconds in, I was told "kind of too late to proof them now." Made me feel as if I had no reason to even look at them, and just pay the invoice so I can leave. It definitely didn't rub me the right way. I came here to support a local business. I do graphic design on the side, and spend an average of 10-15k on printing alone a month. I mostly deal with wholesale trade printers, but I do care about local businesses.
