In long Kind of a tricky parking lot, but not the worst around. Tight spaces, lots of traffic turning in and out. Tons of popular food in this little strip-mall parking lot. I scored a spot easily, though the lunch rush was over. Turns out I was "behind" the store, and the door was barely marked. Walk down a hall to what turns out to be the front room. Lively conversation going on between the 3 dudes working since they had no customers right before I walked in. It's awesome to see people enjoying working together. I hope every day is like that. What's not to like about no line in front of you at a shipping place? I was weighed, labeled, charged, and out the door for a reasonable price in maybe 5 minutes. Tiny, lightweight box now costs about $12 for the slowest service, but that's alright. read more

The UPS Store approximately on Edmonds Way and 100th Avenue West in Edmonds, is a UPS Store I have visited on occasion when sending items out of state and opting for UPS instead of FedEx. One of my more memorable items I shipped through here was a package with presents in it such as a photo album with captions I hand wrote myself. The recipient of the package was living in Honolulu, and the box size, box weight, and destination combined to a total bill of approximately $100.00 (this was in approximately 2018). It was a little bit eye opening, in a good way. I had lived in Honolulu 2012 to 2015 and received care packages, but not until that moment did I fully appreciate how much those packages cost on shipping alone. The workers were friendly, direct, and payment straightforward. My package had a tracking number and the tracking information as the package made its way to Honolulu updated on time and accurately. This was helpful to both me and the package recipient in knowing the package had arrived. All of the items arrived in unaltered condition (I later visited my friend and even saw the items I had sent and they were all fine). All around good shipping experience. The parking spots are shared, so that part of the experience can be a bit hectic. read more

Went to retrieve a package at the Edmonds Way store yesterday morning about 9:30 or so. They were not busy. I showed my ID and asked for my package. A young man with his hand in his pocket the whole time I was there plucked around on the computer with 1 hand and said my package wasn't there. I said I had received an email and phone call that it was there very recently. He said well it's not here. I insisted that it must be. He said he would check in the back. He slowly walked to the back of the store, took a quick look and said it wasn't there. I inquired some more and asked to see the manager. I was told there was no manager there. So I asked to see one of the other clerks, the hand in the pocket guy asked if one of the other guys would to talk to me and the other guy said "no." I was astounded! The "other guy" suggested the young man who was "helping" me look on the counter and there was my package. If I had not been insistent my package would have been sent back to the company. On top of this horrible customer service I was told there would be a $5.00 charge. I have never paid to pick up a package. The original guy mumbled something unintelligible when I asked about it. I had a package shipped that was returned back to the UPS store, it was rejected due to the recipient did not recognize my name as I was sending it as a favor for a friend of mine who is hospitalized. I was called by the UPS store that it was returned and I asked them to add my friends name and re-ship the package. It once again was returned and I was called to come pick up my package. When I came to pick it up they refused to give it to me because my friends name was on it and my name had been removed. I had all receipts for all my payments and all tracking info that was emailed to me and they still refused to give it to me. Needed to get several documents notarized and saw online that The UPS Store has a notary service. Called to make sure, and the manager Nicholas confirmed. We went in there and Nicholas offered to have his employee stand-in as one of the witnesses we needed for the documents. Both were pleasant about it. An elderly woman came in while we were being helped, and they made some copies for her. She pushed her religious agenda on everyone in the store, and the manager and his employee didn't get an attitude or anything. Also, Nicholas gave us a discount on the notary services. read more

I went to this store to find out where my Christmas gifts that I sent to a family member in California that did not make it. I investigated that the package was actually lost. I needed to do a claim. Micheal was helping me and from our first interaction he was very short with me. He stated he could start a claim and use a blanket 100.$ insurance. Then he started asking me what was in the box. I told him about what I thought the cost was approximately 70. to 80$. stated he needed to know the items and the amounts. I explained best I could. He was so unreasonably frustrated with me I finally asked why he was being so rude. He then through up his arms and said he's not helping me. Carl came to help he was blaming me because he said Micheal was frustrated with me I kept asking, "why" Carl wasn't as rude but I think they're all "Good Ol' boys " attitude towards was unacceptable. I finally asked have any of you actually done a claim? Carl said the manager usually does. So taking out his frustrations on me seemed perfectly ok to these people. So incredibly unprofessional! They all felt very comfortable raising their voices at me and making me feel less than. read more

I was taken care of quickly in a professional manner. I simply don't enjoy the lay out of where this store is located. The shopping center is kitty corner from the PCC Natural Markets and right next to Bartell's Drugs. The entire strip that it sits in is at an angle. So it's hard to tell what is the front or back of the store. However, both doors are available to use. If you come in the back door, make sure to give it a firm tug because it tends to get stuck. The store inside is small and it feels very crowded. I get claustrophobic in settings like this. I don't think I'll be returning unless I happen to be in that shopping center for something else. read more

While they may not be responsible for UPS' delivery service, their employee did mislead me regarding the delivery date of a package being sent to their store, causing me to have to make an extra trip. When I returned to pick the package up, the employee smelled of cigarette smoke and acted like having packages picked up at the location was something out of the ordinary, taking far too long to retrieve it. If you have the option to have your package sent to a different UPS Store, I would suggest you do so, just as I will in the future. read more

I go to this store about once a month. Most of the time it's great. They're friendly and let you use their printers for labels, etc. One thing I'd like better is if they issued a time limit on their computer. Ideally 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes maybe. It's for printing labels and documents, not for someone to sit there for literally HOURS without allowing anyone else to print a single label. That's what the library is for. The staff doesn't kick them off the computer even when they say they'll be on it "all afternoon." You'd think they could at least ask them to take a 5 minute break or something so that someone can print a label. read more

The people in the store were great, very friendly and helpful. However, as usual the UPS service and "guaranteed" delivery is garbage. I paid for 3 day residential delivery which means the package should have arrived in Spring Texas yesterday, March 6th. Checked the tracking today and the package went through KY and then Tennesse and now in Texas for delivery on Monday, March 9th. That does NOT equal 3 day delivery. I am pretty sure I will not use UPS again. Would rather use USPS or Fed Ex. At least they deliver when they say they will. To send a package all the way to Kentucky from Edmonds, WA before it heads to Texas is way out of the way. Then when you call they say Adverse weather. Well if you would have kept it on the West coast then headed east from around California then my sister would not still be waiting and I would not have had to pay DOUBLE for a package that did not meet the delivery date. read more
