I purchased a one page printing job on their website to print out the shipping slip for a large package. It was heavy and I lugged it into the store and approached the counter to give them my order # like I have done a handful of times in the past. Would you believe that not one of the three employees working (one of which WAS THE OWNER) could figure out how to print it out!? This is one black and white shipping slip I'm talking about here After around 10 minutes of being left without any explanation of what was happening, I explained that I needed to leave for work. There was no apology for the inconvenience, no offer to hold my package until someone who knows what they're doing can help me out, and of course no mention of a reimbursement. Just a shrug and the excuse that, "We don't know how to do this and the guy that's usually here is out." At this point, learning that this is the owner telling me this, I was frustrated. I asked him how something that usually take me less than 5 minutes to do is now going on almost 15 mins and why do they think that telling a customer that "we don't know how" is a help to anyone, and I am met with this guy giving me a "time out" sign right in my face like he was the referee who showed up to the wrong game. That was it. What kind of business owner acts like that? I went to the Longmeadow store the next night and was in and out in maybe 3 minutes with the employee even helping me carry my heavy package in from my car. Night and day difference. There's a reason why this place has so many negative reviews. Stay away. read more

Typically when I go to this store, the representatives are polite and helpful. However, today I had the displeasure of receiving service from a very irritable representative. I tried to be mindful of the long line behind me but this woman was very rude and Impatient with me. I did not catch her name but it was around 5pm on Wednesday March 24. I was very confused with a package and inquired about the protocol to return an item. I handed her a slip with (what I thought was the correct return label). She grabbed it and exclaimed "this tells me nothing!". She then huffed and puffed and started typing away at her keyboard to "help". She then snatched the box back that I was shipping and shook it. I didn't have time to insulate it (but didn't think it would be a big deal). She mockingly asked, "you are going to ship it like THIS!?" Which lead to embarrassing me in front of the other customers. I started to take the hint that she wasn't going to be much help and mentioned that I would try to ship it at the post office. She retorted "it's after 5 they won't be open!" I kind of just ignored her and started to put the tape away that I was going to purchase. She then stopped me as I was leaving inferring that I used the tape to seal the package. I tried my best to remain polite and said "this package was already sealed" and then I put it away. This lady either needs a snickers or a break However, A nice customer behind me saw the commotion and followed me out to the parking lot to provide me with more information. I have to say this. All UPS stores can be busy when you go there. I haven't been to any one that was never busy or I didn't have to wait. Also no one is rude at this location ever. Maybe a little short with people, but that's cause anyone over thirty has no idea how to package an item before going to the store. The owner of this store is usually always there and very helpful. I have shipped with them the last seven years and the only bad experiences are when other customers cause delays as they believe the staff is there to package their items. Also the parking lot is easy to navigate if you know how to drive. There's plenty of parking as well. So instead of bashing your local stores try to be a little understanding. read more

The shorter woman at the front counter is foul-mouthed, rude, and always unkind. Zero help. This is a horrible store. The men who work there are okay, and one woman at the front is particularly wonderful in the way that she helps customers. Beyond her, you will find little if any help in this store. read more

I have only been to this UPS store a few times, but every time I went I received excellent customer service. Everyone that helped me was extremely nice and willing to answer any questions I had about the shipping process. If the worker did not know how to answer my questions they went to great lengths by asking coworkers and getting the answers from others so all my concerns were satisfied. Worst service ever. I arrived to return my Amazon package and Larry the owner was clearly bothered that I did not have app on phone ready. He literally walked away. When I asked for help he returned and promptly said "are you ready, I don't like doing things for free." He was clearly agitated and I asked him why he was being so rude. He kept repeating "I have work to do, and don't like to do things for free." I asked why he was taking this out on his customer and he said he blames me and amazon. I was appalled at this treatment. They offer all kinds of services not limited to just shipping. Service has always been real friendly every time I have gone. It is a convenient place to drop off packages for UPS pickup. It's best to package your own items because their prices are high. It's even better if you can print out your own UPS label at home and not pay their inflated shipping prices, and then bring the package there for drop off. read more

I've lived here for ten years and have used this UPS store for all my shipping needs. They are so professional and helpful. I have never had a problem shipping any item, nor have they ever forgotten to give me a receipt for any purchase or package shipped. They are very particular that the customer be sure to have the tracking number. As for the review of the parking lot, it's absurd to rate a store based on the mall parking lot. It also isn't that big a hassle to pull out on the other end. It actually helps with the flow of traffic. I've been in and out in under five minutes many times. It's an excellent option. read more

Many of the companies I buy from use UPS as a shipping company. Since I just moved here, I was trying to find the closest one. This one is in a shopping mall that is incrediably busy. The parking is really bad. And you have to go in on one side, then leave from the other side of the parking lot. Cumbersome, is a good word to use. Its frustrating because you are trying to be as quick as possible. Once I was in the store, the clerks were super slow. I guess I just expect everyone in Mass to be in a rush. Not these guys, they were so slow. I wanted a receipt, just to make sure my return package had mad it. After a long wait I got was I wanted. I will try to avoid this UPS Store. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service I received at the East Longmeadow UPS store. Larry has some of the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. He couldn't have cared less that the service I paid a hefty fee for was not delivered. I paid $152 for over seas shipping. It was supposed to arrive in three days. It arrived 15 days later. It wasn't even in the correct country 3 days later. When my package was halted I called the store, was told someone was looking into it and that they would call me back. When no one called by the next day I went directly to the store where I had the displeasure of speaking with Larry. He didn't seem to care at all about my problem and took absolutely no responsibility for the fact that my package was missing and it didn't come close to arriving in three days. He simply blamed UPS international and the fact that nothing was "guaranteed". However, he had NO problem taking my money. 15 days when you are estimated 3 is completely unacceptable. I cannot believe someone who lacks compassion, customer service skills, and proper mask wearing is in charge of a store. If you are running a business you should take responsibility for everyone you use to help you run the business. It is an extension and a reflection on you. If you have anything important to ship, steer clear of East Longmeadow UPS. The woman who works there is lovely, has great customer service skills and I feel sorry that she has to work with such a rude man. Go to Longmeadow if you need UPS services. read more

The East Longmeadow store charges additional fees without notifying the customer. When questioned the person at the store got an attitude and became unfriendly before just saying they were too busy and hanging up. I am writing this review in 2 phases. First the negative. My package ended up at this UPS Store due to a home delivery issue. UPS on-line told me my parcel was delivered here and signed for by "Larry". When I called to confirm, I spoke with "Larry" and he told me he couldn't find a package for me. I explained, that I was told it was delivered to this store. Larry, apparently was busy and didn't have time for me. I asked what I should do next and "Larry" told me he didn't know! I called UPS and confirmed delivery to that location, with a signature from none other than "Larry". When I called back, "Larry", who is the OWNER, assured me that there was no package there for me and that based on his 25 years of experience in this business, that he should know what is in his store. Now the positive, later in the afternoon, I called back and spoke with employee David. I inquired about my package with David and he explained that he didn't see it in the mail room but asked me if I could hold for a minute. After a short time, David said that he had found it! He explained he had to look all over the small facility and found it where it wasn't supposed to be. I thanked David for taking the time, to search, to satisfy a customer's needs. David was professional, friendly and eager to do his job and deliver a positive customer service experience. Perhaps David could explain and teach the OWNER, Larry, what true customer service is and why it is necessary to do whatever it takes to satisfy your customer's. Hey Larry, people who are in need of your services, don't want to hear about how experienced you are or how busy you are, they want a solution. Oh, and David should be given a large hourly increase for his performance. read more

I went into this store today to mail a Family Bible back to my cousin whose mother recently passed away. The Bible was mistakenly placed in my puppy's overnight bag. There were many legal important papers in this bible. I tried to get Howie to understand this. He rolled his eyes at me each time I expressed how important this bible was. I tried to explain to him that I needed to see him box it up but he became overwhelmed with my request. He wouldn't box it up in front of me. He stated he had at least 30 other packages to box. Because there were important documents with the Bible I didn't feel comfortable just letting it lie around in the back room. He said I have a line. Not my problem!!! I stood my place in line waited my turn for my opportunity to receive good customer service. Howie and the owner failed me. I had him issue me a return. I went to Staples bought my supplies. Packed it up. Went to the USPS and shipped it from there....cheaper!!! I won't say I'll never use another UPS store ever....but I'll never use this one again. I wonder if they have something against Christians....hmmm. read more

I just need a one page form printer out because my printer was out of toner. Went in and got it printed pretty fast, but they charge me $2.11 for printing 1 page. Apparently, 10 cents for the print and $2 for using their computer for 5 seconds. The employee did not warn me of this until it was done. Imagine, more than $2 for printing one sheet. read more
