Popped into this UPS store yesterday to avoid my store, which usually gives me anxiety. I had a ton of Amazon returns that were on separate orders all with different return directions. This is usually where my anxiety comes in. However, I was greeted by an extremely helpful and patient staff member named Nick. He not only helped me make sense of everything but he helped me contact Amazon customer service to resolve one of my issues. It did not matter how long the line got he never made me feel like I was holding things up. Instead he continued helping other customers with a smile and did his job effectively and efficiently. Customer service..female employee Kaushik was EXTREMELY rude!! Not the first time to have the same horrible experience with this employee. Need to learn proper manners on how to treat and speak to customers. Sadly another customer had to deal with the same rudeness. Next time I am taking my business to another UPS location. To me, a UPS store is a UPS store. I don't expect wonderful customer service and endless smiles to mail something. Nor do I expect excessive hand holding. The ability to answer questions without being rude is enough for me. I'm sure many others don't come here and meander; they want to be in and out. For my drop off, I came in and only saw one worker who was in the middle of assisting a woman in front of me. She seemed to be almost done but was also lingering and asking questions/clarifying things. Another guy came out, saw me, and asked if I needed help. Very quick and fast. Perhaps just excellent timing, as when I was leaving, I saw the first guy going on his break, so maybe the other guy happened to be coming on shift and I was lucky enough to be there at the right time. Regardless, I was satisfied with my experience. I'm not sure I would come back to this specific location, only because of the parking situation. It's a small and narrow lot, angled oddly depending which entrance you come off of. If all spots are filled, you're out of luck and have to wait awkwardly while other cars are constantly coming in from all directions because of it's high traffic spot on Rt. 18. read more

Great store! Friendly staff and very quick service! I had to get a notary checked here, and the staff was very friendly, and helpful! They even gave me other places that I could get it done as well, even though they weren't as close. Store is clean, and well organized, with their other mail stuff. I had shipped my TV when moving from this location. I requested the professional pack and ship offered by UPS specially listed on their website under shipping for fragile items such as TVs to which the manager had denied the service. The reason given to me was "TV's are too complicated to pack". I was already upset with the service as the company offers this service specially for TVs and the reason given to me by the store contradicts the service as it is listed for TV shipping by the company. I packed the item myself using a heavy duty box with foam corners from Lowe's listed online as moving and shipping. I also used the Uhaul Ultimate TV packing kit to pack the TV. When dropping off, I requested that labels be placed on the box indicating it was a fragile item, electronic, and this way up as it is a TV and needs to be handled carefully. When the package arrived the box was damaged, the side held by industrial staples was busted almost completely open, and there were no sticker indications placed on the box even though I was ensure they would use them. The TV was completely broken. The top two corners were cracked/smashed and the screen was falling off the TV due to the damage of the corners and sides. I filed a claim to which it was denied for improper packaging which it was. I spoke with customer service and they had me provide photos of the packaging and damages to the item to the store that sent the package. I also included screenshots of the box used listed online as a shipping box as well as the screenshot of the TV packing kit provided by Uhaul which included coverings and padding for the TV. I also included in the email a statement where I specified I requesting the sticker indication, the package was improperly carried from the truck to my home by the driver, and that I was denied proper services offered by UPS. I received a call from the East Brunswick UPS store owner to which he proceed to yell at me over the phone saying I shouldn't be filing a dispute since it was not properly packaged. I proceeded to tel him that if he saw the email I had sent which included all the materials used that were specifically listed for TV packing, the TV was adequately packaged and the issue was that it was not handled properly by UPS. The store also never used the proper stickers indications for the item which was listed in the description as a TV. The TV itself was listed at 70 pounds which made this an oversized item. I had Ring Doorbell video showing the driver carrying the "oversized item" by himself off the truck over his shoulder. This time took two people (a friend and myself) to carry into the store when sending the package. The owner then said that since there was no bubble wrap used, it is not properly packaged. I proceeded to tell him that padding was used that was given in the Uhaul packing kit and that the issue is not that the screen is cracked. The issue is the corners where completely smashed in which were protected by foam corners supplied with the TV box. The foam corners themselves were severely damaged which shows the box must have been thrown around and handled very improperly. He proceeded change the reason and tell me that the box did not have a rating listed the met there standard for shipping to which I replied that when you do an online search for TV shipping boxes, there are no boxes that show specific rating that he says is needed. And if those boxes are required by UPS, then I should not have been denied the professional pack and ship service at the store. He said that UPS does not carry the specific rated boxes to which I asked why then is that service offered online specially under TV shipping on the UPS website. He then got mad and continued to yell saying that he has the right to deny any service to which I replied but there was no valid reason to deny a service that you are supposed to offer. I was not requesting anything that was not listed on the UPS website. The TV is 65" which is a normal TV as it was not the largest TV's that are available for purchase and was not requesting any additional services. Just the one listed online. To me it just seemed like the store was being lazy and did not want to offer a service they should have accepted and then tried to intimate me to scare me out of filing a claim. I also lost trust in the store as they were the ones who were going to be filing the dispute and providing the photo evidence and information I provided. After being berated by the owner, I did jot trust that the claim would be properly filed or all information be properly sent. read more

I love my neighborhood UPS store. Yeah, UPS is a little more money than the post office but the people who work here treat you like first-class, handling everything from the labeling and packing of the box the minute you walk through the door. Even if you don't have packing supplies, and just show up with the item you need to ship, they've got you covered. They have everything you need to ship things- from boxes, to packing peanuts, to tape. If you are engaged in any type of e-commerce and have a seller's reputation to keep up, you need to be using UPS. I once had to mail a router that I sold via eBay and showed up with just the router and the address where it needed to be mailed. No box, nothing to ship it in. But by the time the UPS guy finished packing my item for me, it looked like it was being shipped from a professional store. The packing service is complimentary if you buy the supplies here, but even if you DIY your package, they will double check it for you to make sure it arrives in one piece. This UPS store not only knows how to handle packages, but also people. Everyone is so friendly, so calm and helpful, they completely take the stress out of the whole process of shipping packages. It feels good to hand your boxes over to the people here knowing that they've got this and your package will arrive as promised (something not guaranteed at the post office!). They've really got a great team of people working here, they make it easy for me to feel good about giving them my business. read more

This store is a pretty good store There was a store here before and it was under a previous management I won't get into until later The people here are actually pretty people. They know what they are doing and the prices are actually pretty good. Locations to me is convenient because it is located in the same building as a Dunkin' Donuts. across the street both ways are strip malls The store has everything you need to ship things Plus it has a PO Box that you can use as a real addresses where you can have them sent there as a real address. The fees are cheap but it's worth it in a way People might remember that this place is closed and for a time there was no store ups here. That is because the previous owner of the franchise store in the same location had basically for the final few months of the original store operation decided to take 100% pure profit of all revenue. What you do is not pay people and not pay any sort of bills and nor any royalty fees. The money that He stole went overseas and now he is permanently banned from this country unless he wants to get arrested and put in prison for theft that's what I heard from the end person working there so Anyways. Don't take my reason wrong way because of this will last paragraph. It's a good story and that there's new management are praying this place so it's a place that can earn your trust again. read more
