Edison Pack and Ship recently went 'above and beyond' to assist us with printing and another time with shipping also. And their immense help was not really connected directly with a billable service, which speaks to the excellent, old-fashion customer service that they are quick to give. We would give them 5 stars in every category that someone would consider. read more

A hidden gem in a very busy RT 1 road ! Thanks to Google and thoughtful AI prompts we were able to find this place . We were struggling to get a color print out or color photocopy .. went to ups , usps, fedex and 3-4 more shops . Nothing was working in those shops . Thankfully stopped by this place . A very stood service from the guy . He was very friendly and eager to help. They were able to take color printouts and also do Notary ! Yfff . It was so so so helpful , basically doing all work in the same place . Charged very minimal . They also sold perfumes . We didn't buy but the price was reasonable . Parking outside is small but we were able to get one . Good spot overall. 4stars .. read more

One of the worst places to send your packages. If you love going to a business where they have an attitude and roll their eyes when you ask them for items then this is your place .This is definitely one of the worst places to ship you items. Please do your self a favor and go elsewhere. Apparently customer service is not a priority here. Also they pay people to give them higher ratings which should be looked into read more

Sakina was very helpful in packing up and sending some very important fragile and sentimental items for me from NJ to California. She took her time to make sure everything was done properly. Thank you so much. I definitely recommend this business for all of your packing and shipping needs. Thank you. Sakina. read more

3 Weeks ago I dropped off a FEDEX prepaid medical test at the Roseland, NJ office to be shipped to a medical lab in Houston, TX. The package shipped that date and arrived at a FEDEX location in Cypress, TX. By the 5th day it was in Mosheim, TN and a day later it was in Edison, NJ -- where it has apparently been for the past 2 weeks. When I realized there may be a problem, I called the 800 number and was told they'd check into it. I gave them my contact email and phone number to call when they had information. After 3 days of no response and no movement, I called again and was told they'd trace it and would call me with the status. I called again last week and was told to put in a claim -- which I cannot do since I am not the shipping originator. I understand that packages are lost, but FEDEX has been totally unresponsive and never got back to me. The people answering the phone were politely aloof and did not care that this was an important medical test. I have dealt with UPS which has been 100% reliable and have even been more satisfied with the much maligned USPS. read more

Went here to drop off a returning package and they charged me $2 for printing out the shipping label. They didn't tell me I would be charged for that when I walked in the store. Would go to a real UPS store instead because it's supposed to be free. Well, will not go there again. read more

This has been my go to place for shipping Fedex or sending any complicated international packages. The owner and his wife always provide an excellent customer service. They pay attention to details and making sure all the information is correct before sending the package out. They care about their customer, patient, friendly and polite! Highly recommend this store for any type of shipping/packing service! read more

I was shipping a dozen La Bagels (right next door) from Edison to LA for my homesick husband. Obviously it had to be overnight. BONUS: When you walk in, you'll most likely be enthusiastically greeted by Petey the dog. Shipping has skyrocketed since the last time I did it. The very good people at Edison Pack and Ship Business Center carefully packed my bagels the same as if it had been a Lalique vase. He found the smallest box the bagels would comfortably fit within, and his wife hit me with the hard truth. FedEx would cost a fortune! Unsatisfied with the price, the couple who owns EPSBC searched several shippers and ways to get the package home in a flash. We landed on UPS which quoted $100 less. Did they have to spend the extra time to save me money for my follie? No! Did they greet every single person who entered as they researched my options? Yes! These professionals go out of their way to give you the best service possible. So rare these days and deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for helping me make my husband very happy! read more

So let me start by saying that if I could give this place 6 stars I would do it. They deserve 6 stars. As every other review has stated the customer service is great. But here is why I would give them the 6th star. I have shipped from many sources, and when prices start to really go up are when you ask them to pack or ship that tricky item. I went to this UPS store near me and they couldn't care less about box size or saving me money. Also, I always felt they were cheating me and I did figure out they had lied to me in the past, and I never trusted them. Of course this UPS store has a yelp average of 1 star. Draw your own conclusions. Edison Pack and Ship showed me how a professional with shipping knowledge can save you a fortune. The UPS store near me quoted $375. They told me that their rates are fixed and the same at all UPS stores.... Not True! Edison pack and ship charged a total of $129, and I insisted he take more for the packing time. First the owner knew immediately what size box he had to use to avoid a $60 surcharge. He cut 3" off one dimention and saved me money. He knew the mix of packing materials and had a good sense of how to arrange things to not only have things arrive safely but keep me away from extra costs. He also put the 2 parts of this water fountain in the same box arranging them so they would not damage each other and using proper materials so as to save weight, cost, and have a safe arrival. He carefully wrapped everything in that thin plastic film so the packing materials wouldn't break and enter the item causing some clean up or less padding on arrival. While he did this whole project I enjoyed a Bagel form next door which he told me was ok to bring in the shop while he packed and determined a price. I am moving a bit out of the area, but not to far, and this is my shipper of choice now for everything. I never was actually happy with a shipper before, but these people know their stuff, save you money, and are very very friendly. Great place. Jay read more

AMAZING! SO happy to know this place is in business. I had had some shipping problems in the past using many different carriers in the Edison area. Then I found Edison Pack & Ship. Professional yet totally friendly warm and inviting. I had to ship basically my whole life out to California as I was moving for a new job. The customer service was outstanding. I felt like I was talking to friend of mine in the shipping businesses. The packages arrived in record time and everything was perfectly accounted for. Steve was really great because he completely broke down all of the pricing and ways that I could ship everything. He helped to save me money and I felt better about the safety of my items in the end. I had a detailed breakdown of each item I shipped (never had that from another FedEx office anywhere). Super helpful and knowledgeable. From Wall Street to Main Street, definitely ship here! read more

Outstanding and exceptional shipping and handling business, especially for antiques and out of State customers, thank you again!

If I could, and lived close enough, I would use Edison Pack and Ship Business Center to send every package small or large for the rest of my life. I had a ~150 pound package (fragile lab equipment) to send and Steve and Mrs. Jaffe were nothing short of helpful. They were extremely warm and welcoming to every single customer in the store. Mrs. Jaffe was very responsive both on e-mail and phone. I was provided with updates every step along the way and felt like my package was going to be delivered safely and securely the entire time. Steve went completely out of his way to build a crate and add in extra safety measures to ensure my package arrived in pristine condition. Thank you thank you thank you! If you live ANYWHERE near Edison, I would recommend you go to Edison Pack and Ship Business Center. They are far more knowledgeable about anything and everything related to shipping compared to any other shipping location I have ever been to. Every small business should have the professionalism, passion, and knowledge that Steve and Mrs. Jaffe bring to their business. read more

Great ma and pa store. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely a gem for the community.

The hours are good, so unless you work super late, you should be able to catch them to do a last minute shipment. Their service is wonderful -- their staff is friendly and they will call you when your project/poster is ready. Their prices are OK: trimming a presentation poster - $12. Also their location is good and they have parking near by. They advertise being able to speak a good number of languages if necessary, which I think is cool. read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Edison Pack and Ship. I live in California and needed specialty food shipped from New Jersey. I looked online to find a company close to where the food was located. When I contacted Edison Pack and Ship I spoke to Mrs. Jaffy and she was very courteous and helpful. I needed someone to pick up the food, package it correctly and ship it out. They did it all and were amazing, the cooler box Steve built for my shipment was a work of art. My food was shipped overnight and got here in perfect condition. They went above and beyond and that level of customer service is so rare nowadays. They worked with me to make sure we had all the logistics in place. If you need a company who cares and will take care of you & your shipment go to Edison Pack and Ship! read more

same here, I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! absolutely love the dude. he has everything from tape to local directions. I'm not from the area it's my first time shipping here because an item I purchased online that has a prepaid lable for FedEx and this was the closest Fedex. I also bought an industrial sized tape because the one I bought from UPS ran out. I noticed there was a large UPS truck dropping and carrying packages -- I will definitely come here had I known (first time) in the future because the UPS near my house in hillsborough lost three of my packages! all in total cost me $300 I was selling old textbooks that also had prepaid labels and I know it's not my fault because the labels for USPS that were mailed simultaneously at the same time arrived and I got paid for it. anyway this place is great. hands down. he even gave me a receipt. everyone should come here because the dude is super nice and also very helpful and attentive and what I love is how honest he is. trust is everything in business and you can definitely trust this place to handle all your packages because of the attention to detail this man has. read more

The folks at Edison Pack and Ship in Edison are wonderful in every way. Professional and just so darn friendly. I needed to ship a large, framed drawing to a gallery in Tampa, FL. Steve took the time to measure and check for best pricing, which meant he had to build a box in a box for best protection. I rarely feel so confident when shipping my artwork and I certainly wasn't expecting someone to take so much time and effort to save me money. I plan to be a life long customer! read more
