If I could, and lived close enough, I would use Edison Pack and Ship Business Center to send every package small or large for the rest of my life. I had a ~150 pound package (fragile lab equipment) to send and Steve and Mrs. Jaffe were nothing short of helpful. They were extremely warm and welcoming to every single customer in the store. Mrs. Jaffe was very responsive both on e-mail and phone. I was provided with updates every step along the way and felt like my package was going to be delivered safely and securely the entire time. Steve went completely out of his way to build a crate and add in extra safety measures to ensure my package arrived in pristine condition. Thank you thank you thank you! A hidden gem in a very busy RT 1 road ! Thanks to Google and thoughtful AI prompts we were able to find this place . We were struggling to get a color print out or color photocopy .. went to ups , usps, fedex and 3-4 more shops . Nothing was working in those shops . Thankfully stopped by this place . A very stood service from the guy . He was very friendly and eager to help. They were able to take color printouts and also do Notary ! Yfff . It was so so so helpful , basically doing all work in the same place . Charged very minimal . They also sold perfumes . We didn't buy but the price was reasonable . 3 Weeks ago I dropped off a FEDEX prepaid medical test at the Roseland, NJ office to be shipped to a medical lab in Houston, TX. The package shipped that date and arrived at a FEDEX location in Cypress, TX. By the 5th day it was in Mosheim, TN and a day later it was in Edison, NJ -- where it has apparently been for the past 2 weeks. When I realized there may be a problem, I called the 800 number and was told they'd check into it. I gave them my contact email and phone number to call when they had information. After 3 days of no response and no movement, I called again and was told they'd trace it and would call me with the status. I called again last week and was told to put in a claim -- which I cannot do since I am not the shipping originator. I understand that packages are lost, but FEDEX has been totally unresponsive and never got back to me. The people answering the phone were politely aloof and did not care that this was an important medical test. I have dealt with UPS which has been 100% reliable and have even been more satisfied with the much maligned USPS. read more

Went here to drop off a returning package and they charged me $2 for printing out the shipping label. They didn't tell me I would be charged for that when I walked in the store. Would go to a real UPS store instead because it's supposed to be free. Well, will not go there again. read more

I was shipping a dozen La Bagels (right next door) from Edison to LA for my homesick husband. Obviously it had to be overnight. BONUS: When you walk in, you'll most likely be enthusiastically greeted by Petey the dog. Shipping has skyrocketed since the last time I did it. The very good people at Edison Pack and Ship Business Center carefully packed my bagels the same as if it had been a Lalique vase. He found the smallest box the bagels would comfortably fit within, and his wife hit me with the hard truth. FedEx would cost a fortune! Unsatisfied with the price, the couple who owns EPSBC searched several shippers and ways to get the package home in a flash. We landed on UPS which quoted $100 less. Did they have to spend the extra time to save me money for my follie? No! Did they greet every single person who entered as they researched my options? Yes! So let me start by saying that if I could give this place 6 stars I would do it. They deserve 6 stars. As every other review has stated the customer service is great. But here is why I would give them the 6th star. I have shipped from many sources, and when prices start to really go up are when you ask them to pack or ship that tricky item. I went to this UPS store near me and they couldn't care less about box size or saving me money. Also, I always felt they were cheating me and I did figure out they had lied to me in the past, and I never trusted them. Of course this UPS store has a yelp average of 1 star. Draw your own conclusions. Edison Pack and Ship showed me how a professional with shipping knowledge can save you a fortune. The UPS store near me quoted $375. They told me that their rates are fixed and the same at all UPS stores.... Not True! Edison pack and ship charged a total of $129, and I insisted he take more for the packing time. First the owner knew immediately what size box he had to use to avoid a $60 surcharge. He cut 3" off one dimention and saved me money. He knew the mix of packing materials and had a good sense of how to arrange things to not only have things arrive safely but keep me away from extra costs. He also put the 2 parts of this water fountain in the same box arranging them so they would not damage each other and using proper materials so as to save weight, cost, and have a safe arrival. He carefully wrapped everything in that thin plastic film so the packing materials wouldn't break and enter the item causing some clean up or less padding on arrival. While he did this whole project I enjoyed a Bagel form next door which he told me was ok to bring in the shop while he packed and determined a price. I am moving a bit out of the area, but not to far, and this is my shipper of choice now for everything. I never was actually happy with a shipper before, but these people know their stuff, save you money, and are very very friendly. Great place. Jay read more

The hours are good, so unless you work super late, you should be able to catch them to do a last minute shipment. Their service is wonderful -- their staff is friendly and they will call you when your project/poster is ready. Their prices are OK: trimming a presentation poster - $12. Also their location is good and they have parking near by. They advertise being able to speak a good number of languages if necessary, which I think is cool. read more

I'm not from the area it's my first time shipping here because an item I purchased online that has a prepaid lable for FedEx and this was the closest Fedex. I also bought an industrial sized tape because the one I bought from UPS ran out. I noticed there was a large UPS truck dropping and carrying packages -- I will definitely come here had I known (first time) in the future because the UPS near my house in hillsborough lost three of my packages! all in total cost me $300 I was selling old textbooks that also had prepaid labels and I know it's not my fault because the labels for USPS that were mailed simultaneously at the same time arrived and I got paid for it. anyway this place is great. hands down. he even gave me a receipt. everyone should come here because the dude is super nice and also very helpful and attentive and what I love is how honest he is. trust is everything in business and you can definitely trust this place to handle all your packages because of the attention to detail this man has. read more
