This is my kind of UPS store. I luckily got parking right infront of the store as someone just left. I was immediately greeted by one of the employees, even though he was helping someone else. I had to wait a few minutes as the staff were helping 3 other people when I got in. Shortly thereafter I was called upon. The guys there all seemed eager to help. I only had to get something notarized, and they had someone there that could do it. He, the guy that notarized seemed to be guy they asked for help, because he was constantly being asked for advice as he helped me. Although, he was not rude while helping me, actually very personable as were the other employees. The notary was surprisingly not expensive at all. The store itself was clean, and well lit. Parking isn't great, but it's a popular area of business/restaurants, so it comes with the territory. Most importantly the staff knew had to do their job, efficient and pleasant while doing it. It was worth passing up 2 other closer UPS's for good service. read more

Very poor communication and customer service at this location. If you'd like to have your returns thrown outside on the concrete for not having a box and yet not made aware that was the consequence- go here. And then, when talking to a manager about this issue, gave him over you and basically told that is acceptable behavior for their employees- go here. And then, the owner tell you I just don't understand what her employees are saying as the result of this- go here. I will no longer be doing personal business through any of UPS channels as I've had the worst experience with deliveries as well. read more

They are organized at a busy holiday season and were honest with all customers about expectations. Asking $2 for a small piece of tape is ridiculous. If you're going to charge a taping fee at least make it the actual worth of the tape.

This is my go to UPS location and the employees are helpful and friendly. Today I had the displeasure of being "helped" by the owner. Despite a delivery confirmation that my package was delivered to the store and signed for by an employee at the location, she kept insisting it wasn't there and that somehow the UPS tracker was incorrect. To say she wasn't very friendly about it is an understatement. She made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Thankfully, one of her lovely employees found the package and I was on my way. Having previously worked sales/customer service I'm usually pretty lenient to some owners/employees if they say "sure thing...we'll try". I have used this store to drop off packages over the Lakewood UPS Store because: 1. they are located just off 75 and Knox 2. there is a designated parking spot for their store 3. they are a lot less busy than the Lakewood store I dropped a high value package which required the UPS Driver to sign a "pick up acknowledgement form". I provided two copies to the store manager...one copy for me, and one for the driver. I was told they'd keep the copies and I could pick my copy up the next day. I asked the manager to please make sure I got the copy that had all pages of the paper work attached...not just the cover page. "Ok...well...we will try". (sigh). I go back the next day to pick up the papers and there is a different guy working the counter. I ask for my signed document...he looks around and says "oh I can't find it...sorry". THAT'S IT? THAT'S ALL? Asking him nicely, I strongly suggested he CALL his manager to find out where the paperwork was. He obliged...and 2 min later...I had my the cover page...MINUS THE REST OF THE PAPERWORK. (sigh). "We'll try" turned into "we'll mess it up". Honestly, if you have high value items take them to Lakewood or call UPS for a pickup. If this place wasn't so darn easy to get to, I would have done the same. read more

Staff is extremely rude, the manager speaks to customers as if he has no concern of his job at all. They often have "broken printers" and cannot offer receipts. No line process, just manager yelling at you to move here and there. No processes being followed here at all. Notary is advertised but never here. read more

I came today to return items the lady was very rude to me after she scanned a label from an opened package and she said there was nothing in the package I was confused and she didn't give me a chance to figure out where the item was . Before I figured out the item had fallen in my car she said I was trying to send empty items I . She asked me to leave the store I told her I didn't need to leave I've done nothing wrong . Another guy intervened only to continue being rude . I asked him for her name and he said in these exact words " I know her name but I don't give a fuck about you or the situation maybe you should go smoke a blunt !" I said are you telling me to do drugs just because i made a mistake with the package . He said " yes you should go so smoke some weed because I don't give a fuck ." read more

This WAS my local store for sending important packages and envelopes. NOT ANYMORE! On April 29 I brought in an envelope and stated it needed to arrive at the address in Illinois on April 30. They printed a label, asked me if the information was correct, and charged me $51 and change. As I write this it is May 6. The envelope didn't arrive. I checked with the store on May 4 and the sales person said "aaahhhh yes we have had some issues with USPS and the guy who checked you out was new, and he didn't realize what he was doing. You need to send an email to my boss" An email to your boss? You must be joking. Let's get him on the phone. "He won't answer". After much back in forth I went ahead with the email and left. The next morning May 5 the store manager aka the boss, called me. He said I'll get to the bottom of this and call you back once I get the employee side of the story. He calls me back and basically explains that I was given several options and that it was explained that COVID has caused delays and there are no guarantees. I said it's been 6 days and my package is lost and I need a refund. Sorry you aren't getting a refund. At that point I lost my temper and explained I was not standing in a UPS store to send things by way of USPS. And that I was not given options, was under the impression I was sending via UPS, and wasn't told about delays and no guarantees. Our conversation was very heated and the bottom line the store manager has sided with his new 2-week on the job employee who was confirmed by the other employee on May 4 to have made a mistake. He is holding on to the fact I signed off on a fine print page. Whose reading fine print when you are standing 6' apart with masks on? The customer is not always right at this store. $51 for a lost letter. WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more

As happens with lots of businesses. New owners want to actually provide less customer service than the previous owners. I've had a box here for 8 years probably the longest there. I always pick up my mail through the back door. Been doing that since day 1. Today. I was met by a 4 day old employee who answered the door when I knocked and really thought he was a bouncer at a night club physically blocking the door and telling me to walk around front. I really felt this guy with his demeanor and body stance toward me was more like he's protecting a wells Fargo gold shipment back in 1882 than a customer service specialist. The guy was rude. Said park your car in the back and walk to the front. Wrong thing to say to a heart patient. Told him off. Drove around front. Justin was his name. The owner needs to get this under control and quick. Why would someone buy this location for around a half million and then hire people who are gonna tackle grandma when she parks out back. read more

The company I work for always comes here for our printing purposes for our store. I usually have a great experience each time, but I'm a little confused at what happened today. I asked for one copy of our entrance sign to be printed because we don't have a color printer. He told me he accidentally printed 3 copies, so he upped my quantity and charged me for all three when I needed 1...So basically he charged me for his mistake. I think I was taken off guard because I didn't know what to say. The more I thought about it though the more I felt that just aint right! I felt a little taken advantage of, even if it was $2 instead of however many cents. Maybe it was a bad day though. Please continue to treat your customers the right way instead of taking advantage of a situation! I'm all about grace though so I'm willing to continue giving yall a shot.
