I called, left a message and waited a week for a return phone call. I never received one so I called again and I think I woke the woman up. She didn't know even basic information about scanners. I had to repeat everything 3 times and she was just lost. Finally found out they don't have flatbed scanners at all. This was the South Arlington store. read more

Stopped at this UPS for an Amazon return. Super easy, just brought the package to the store in its original packaging and they did the rest. I've returned cable modems and things here, and it's always been a pretty fast process. Only one star off due to the limited parking. I purchased a $1200 antique oak gothic church canopy from an antique store in Dallas. I hired The UPS Store #6554 to pack & ship it to me for $493.49 with full insurance. UPS damaged the item horribly in transit (owner David stated their was an "exception," meaning an accident). Inexplicably & unethically, UPS has refused to honor the insurance I purchased for this shipping to cover & refund the negligent packing & shipping that caused horrible damage & value-loss to my previously fine condition antique. David has stopped answering emails regarding this insurance claim! _____ DAMAGE DETAILS: Package arrived damaged: top too low, two spires protruding through box. Box had two other holes & a crush on top edge. Package only had foam boards on bottom & one side- none on top or three other sides. Item was packed leaning forward. 200 year old item has breakage & wear damage: +front left spire has corner broken off +Back left spire has three decorative bulbs broken off & a corner broken off of the shaft "roof" +Back right spire has all four top bulbs broken off, and another broken off below +two spires that were protruding through box have patina/finish worn completely off at tops +large roof in middle is separating from frame ***not all broken pieces were found in box (two bulbs & the corner pieces missing) read more

Wondering what the heck has happened at this store. I've been with them for nearly five years, moved out of the area three years ago and kept my box because of the stellar customer service. Since I'm no longer close by, and travel extensively, I don't always get in (or call) "on time" to pay my bill. It's NEVER been a problem until recently. THREE WEEKS after the bill was due, they locked me out? Changed the key? AFTER NEARLY FIVE YEARS???? Wow. Okay. Will be closing down the box after this next three month cycle. Couldn't pick my packages up from my house but they could put my labels in the mailbox instead of sticking it to the matching packages below the mailbox! No doubt this is the best UPS Store to drop off packages. Never have had any issues here and the entire staff is very helpful. I come here plenty of times after work to drop off last minute packages sometimes 70+ Lbs and there's always someone lending a hand. This tiny little tucked away store is pretty awesome. The guys who work there are cool, charges are very reasonable and it's a newer clean store. You are likely to drive right by it, so go slow... it's tucked behind the face of the other stores it's next to. They have a notary at this location and the charges weren't to much at all! I doubt it will be so packed you can't get service... but I hope they get enough to stay open! read more
