They LITERALLY refused to let me reprint a label I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR ON EBAY, saying that because they sell labels, it was a conflict of interest. A conflict of interest for WHO? Not for me! Standard UPS store. Usually many shipping clerks working, so any lines move fast. Prices are generally higher than the post office, but I'm often paying for convenience. You can rent post office style boxes here for secure deliveries. A nice touch. Parking is awful, and if there are no open spots, I drive by and hit the post office on Grandview Ave or Riverside. My complaint with store #1511 is with the individual who 'helped' me, Shawn/Shaun/Sean, not certain of spelling. I do not need to be treated with a condescending tone nor attitude when I am attempting to drop off a pre-paid package. I had to ask for a plastic sleeve for the paperwork as it is an international package. The package was ready to go. He proceeded to chastise me for bringing in the package without having the invoice docs signed or plastic sleeve. However, he wanted to speak down to me and go on because I used Pirate Ship to prepare my label for this package. If you do not want to take these packages, then note that on your door or wall. If you have such a problem with Pirate Ship, then take that up with your employer, not with the customer. The world is already shitty enough without you being rude on top of it. read more

I have shipped several times from this store and the service and staff ( Sunny is a delight to work with) have always been exceptional. It's usually busy and I have typically waited in line 5-10 minutes but the care and attention to detail is worth the wait. Shipping service: 8 self packed boxes/packages to 3 other states all arrived on time, as promised, in excellent condition. No damage to the box or contents. Horrible Customer Service located 2868 Steltzer Road (No Name Agent with Red hair) refused to explanation or assist with my UPS return. He told me i can't get assistance without paying for it. I never knew you had to pay for someone to be provide the service that the business offers on top of that why woukd anyone want to use the postal boxes or any other services that are offered with that kind of attitude. This is the closest UPS to where I live so I've been a couple times. The parking is one heck of a cluster. Getting in and out can be a pain. There are two doors to get in. One in the front and one on the side. It's very outdated looking but they have everything you need to ship. Most times I've noticed a couple guys hanging out behind the counter doing their thang and they're always quick to help. If I could give no stars I would. I have used this UPS for about 2 1/2 years now and I always been taken care of until today. They have a new employee, Daniel, and he refused to take my package unless I bought a tool of tape or paid him to do it. So I paid him and he threw my package on the floor with the others, UNTAPED, so who knows if the 65 items I have in there are going to fall out or make it to their destination!! I said, well I paid you, aren't you going to tape it??! And he just said "yep" and turned to the next customer! As I write this my package is lying, untaped, in a pile of other packages! I had a large, heavy 2-piece item to ship across the country. The UPS Team jumped on the odd shaped packing challenge, wrapping it so it would be protected and no larger than it had to be. The price was one half of what another shipper quoted. This location is a little hard to find if you don't live in the neighborhood. Parking is not all that great either. They have their own lot but the front lot (off of 5th) seems like you have to hop the curb to park. I don't have a truck or SUV so I parked on the side. I waited in line and someone came up from the back to take my Amazon return. I asked for a receipt (which my local UPS store always gives). He said he couldn't do that but still got what appeared to be a standard receipt. This is good place to stop in if you're in the area. I'm sure it's busy during certain times during the week. I came in on a Saturday morning and had a longer wait than expected. I would probably wait until I'm closer to home to save myself from waiting in line. read more

Three times now I've had issues with this location. The last was my package being refused and sent back to the distribution center for no apparent reason. In fact, the clerk at the store said there were only 3 packages and mine was not there, so it was an issue of having too many packages to store. The retailer I ordered from offered this location as an Access Point. He told me if I do it again they will refuse the package and purposely send it back because they don't make money off of it. Don't get a package sent here. Shawn, the manager, will accept the package and then immediately initiate a return to sender. I have no idea if he's running some sort of scam or if he's just spiteful about UPS not paying them enough to act as an Access Point, but that's what he did. He'll make up a story about UPS or the sender initiating the return, but he's lying. The tracking clearly states "The package was refused by the receiver and will be returned to the sender." There are tons of other reviews describing this same issue. I've used this place to ship packages before and have never had an issue with that aspect of the business, but their blatant dishonesty regarding this has put me off ever using this place again and I advise everybody to look elsewhere for their shipping needs. read more

This was the best experience I have had at a UPS! I also watched them be kind and efficient with other customers they served while I waited for them to complete my order. They packed and shipped 5 boxes for me with care and diligence. I think it is also worth noting that they had an appropriate amount of staff working manage the flow of customers. Wow I am disgusted with this store. If I could give negative stars I would. I've been to many UPS stores to do Amazon returns. They have always allowed me to email my label to the store and they print it for me. I was a little frustrated because the manager tells me he won't do it and doesn't care - that ups doesn't print labels. I was made to use the computer and pay 5 dollars to use it just to print 1 piece of paper. I let him know I think it's unfair to charge 5 bucks for a single sheet of paper. He continued to yell at me across the store and embarrass me and tell me to go buy a printer. I didn't even respond at this point. I printed my label and went to the front. The other girl working was nice and I told her I feel bad for you that you have a manager like that. She apologized for the way he treated me and told me he does it all the time. I went in to ship a package and needed to print the label at the store. I was told there was a $5 charge to utilize the computer. I was dumbfounded as one can go to the library and have something printed from an email for .10 or FedEx for .49. Needless to say I left and came back. The employees (who were polite) told me it was the franchise's decision to make people pay $5. For a place that claims to be a print shop they're doing customers a disservice. read more

I am a Navy Veteran, and this particular UPS practice is pure bull. Read on. The manager of this store lied about "requirements" to use their computer. He told me he could not print from emails, and insisted I had to come in (the UPS in New Albany always took my emails), then charged me $5 for using their computer as he had insisted I "had" to. I said baloney. And I later confirmed with other UPS stores the it is NOT a UPS requirement, but a choice the individual store makes. I advised him that he was lying through his teeth, and that $5 is bread, milk and cereal for some, that in my opinion, he was gouging, and that I would follow up. In the process of a months long moving across the country transition, I was hoping this was going to be my new area's go to UPS store, but unfortunately they frustratingly disappointed. I first starting using my local Coral Gables UPS store for my printing needs (and shipping needs) and found them immensely helpful and convenient in the beginning of the transition of computer and printer getting packed. Unfortunately, the printer still appears buried, so I was looking for a UPS store in my new area since the Coral Gables one was ao helpful. 6:37 p.m. I place an order as well as one the next morning. It wasn't until almost lunchtime I receive two automated emails stating, "Per your request, your online print order...has been cancelled." I was printing very time sensitive, important documents...the whole reason I had gone through the trouble of using their online printing portal. So I freaked out...especially since it said "per my request", and I had requested nothing of the sort. Finally, as I was leaving work, I had a chance to call, and the associate was completely unhelpful and unapologetic. He said since one of the items was a shipping label, they couldn't print it because they usually charge $5 to print a label. They can't make money off of me this way. Well, I can tell you they are going to lose some potential future money by their utter lack of customer service!!! Then, they couldn't print the other documents because they looked sensitive, and they were told not to print stuff like that from random people. I said it is not sensitive stuff from random people. It was my and my husband's documents. The last name was obviously the same on the order! Of course, my name was fully matched to the order! Now if someone would have called me in a timely manner and explained everything to me, then that would have been a different issue. But to receive no call, and just an automated email seeming that an inpersonator had cancelled the jobs, especially when the documents were time sensitive, was infuriating. I sent the same orders to another UPS, and they were printed so effortlessly. To top it off, when I went in to pick up said shipping label, I didn't even have to ask. Before I barely had a chance to prepare my package, the associate was already reading my mind and helping me with my package and label. Horrble!!!!! Franchise Owner would not let me talk to him, spoke over me,,,Accused me of sending drugs/called me a drug dealer!!!!! Never dealt drugs, and I have a clean police record to prove it :) If I could give a ZERO STAR, I would!!!! My girlfriend passed away on December 31, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She lived with me, and after a long illness passed away at the age of 42. She had no family in Vegas, so I sent her belongings to her best friend. Because of thefts, and because her best friend wouldn't be home for the delivery, the UPS store I used in Vegas to ship the package from said I had the option to send it UPS store to UPS store, I elected that option. The package arrives to the UPS store in Columbus, and the store owner calls me to tell me that he rejected the package. (It would have been a better courtesy to call me before he rejected it, so maybe we could have made arrangements) I asked why and he basically told me that people send drugs, and he doesn't deal with drug dealers. I told him I wasn't a drug dealer, and told him the story about my girlfriend's death. He was too busy putting me down, assumed I was dealing drugs by sending packages to his store. He continued to talk over me, get loud, not listening to me, and wouldn't even accept the fact that I am a customer. It took a week for the package to go from Vegas to Columbus, and by rejecting it, it would take another week for it to come back. Her belongings were to be used for a ceremony of a Celebration of her Life this week, but because he think all customers deal drugs, the Celebration of Life is without any nostalgia of the deceased. Terrible experience. Notary service is available there according to their website but the guy at the counter refused to do it when I visited because "he is not comfortable". Fine. Then I asked him whether he could explain it to my counterparty who was on the phone with me, as I did not really understand why he couldn't it, and he said "no it is none of my business".
