I avoid this UPS STORE at all costs because it's just bad every time. Today I was running short in time so I popped in thinking whatever I'm doing my own returns at the kiosk anyway. I walked in and there are two teenagers behind the desk, throwing things into the box like it's basketball practice. No one greeted me. I go to the kiosk. I turn and say excuse me this is out of bags. He says there's more behind it. So wrapped up in plastic is another roll of bags that instead of them doing their job proactively I am now unwrapping the plastic roll and sticking it onto the thing. OK not the worst but why are there two people working there when people are doing everything themselves? As I'm doing my returns at the kiosk, they are bantering back-and-forth, and one of them makes a sexually explicit joke about "it won't stay in" that ended in... "That's what she said. " There was no trashcan next to the kiosk for customers to leave the little peels in. Just a terrible experience. Last time it was some drugged out guy in his 20s and now two teenagers making inappropriate comments and not doing anything but possibly damaging boxes behind the counter and looking through their phone chatting about stuff that they are looking at there? Clerk marked package as delivered and item was not even in the store. Returned over 4 weeks ago but lied and committed fraud by saying delivered. Manager Harshal Mehta acted stupid and blamed it on the computer system. Manager was just as guilty as the clerk with lack of integrity. read more

The UPS staff were so great with getting back to me via phone and email for shipping quotes, updates etc. Their cost to pickup, pack and ship to California was very reasonable. They picked up my item immediately and packed the amplifier with great care. All of their staff including the owner were friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

I have had horrible experience at this store and I would like to report the woman who works there. She stalks on me. She asked all kind of personal questions whenever i come to the store like "where are you from" (a racist question), do you live around here (personal and a scary question bc I dont know you!), "what other language do you speak?" (Assuming I speak another language because of my look!). "What do you do?" Last time I came in she said "weren't you here with your mom last time?" (Like what?! Are you keeping track of who I come in with?!) I now have major concern because my address is everywhere on the packages. I tried to avoid her questions but she kept going at it every time i come in. I feel very uncomfortable and am scared for my life. Will be reporting this to corporate. The other issue is she wanted to charge me for a tiny bit of a tape. I ended up using the receipt from the store with adhesive in the back to tape things up and she got upset bc i didn't end up using the tape. I asked to borrow a pair of scissors and she said "they dont cut well" (what?!). She makes sure to go out of her way to make it hard for you to use their service. No you will not treat me like that! I went to make a return at this store with a prepaid label that needed to be printed. I was told by the woman at the counter it would be $1 to print it- fine, I expected that. The package was taped but could use another small piece of tape, small! . She tells me she is going to charge me for that too, I said I have tape in the car BUT it was pouring rain, I said are seriously going to make me go all the way back to my car in the pouring rain for a small piece of tape. She said yes. OK, I did that but will NEVER use this store again. And I ship often. Customer service just doesn't exist anymore but remember you do have the power to go where your business is appreciated. Sad state of affairs today. read more

I've used this UPS location for years now as it is directly on my route to work and very convenient. After 3 negative occurrences at this location I now refuse to return & will go out of my way to use an alternate UPS. Makesh is an awful business owner. Very rude on every interaction and not customer friendly at all. The staff is hit or miss- but I refuse to give makesh any business after my interactions with him. I've mentioned the poor customer service and rudeness to friends and family who comment that they've had a similar experience at this location. Do yourself a favor and go to the royersford or Phoenixville ups locations. They have much much better customer service! read more

I was scheduled for a UPS home delivery that did not occur within the assigned time window for signature. The driver did not attempt to call and automatically reroute my package to this local franchise. When I went to this location to pick it up, we found that UPS did not leave it here. Instead rerouted it back to their hub in a different city without authorization. This franchise team was excellent in tracking ot diwn and working with me and UPS customer service to get it sorted. I want to express both appreciation to this team for their professionalism, expert skills in understanding the process and getting me to someone who could actually deliver on the UPS promise. UPS would do well to empower franchise owners who are close yo the customer to have the authority to make resolutions. This team gets true customer care. read more

I recently won a small painting encased in a wood frame shipped via the Collegeville UPS store. Never again! I had a bad premonition when the package arrived and I heard rattling from inside. The item was a small oil painting on a lightweight board with a handsome wood frame. The painting had been seperated from the frame -- who knows why? -- and was left unwrapped and unsecured in any way so it could freely move to bang against the wood frame (also with no wrapping). That was sadly the rattling sound from within -- the precious painting slamming against the wood frame. How much labor would it take to wrap up a 5X6 inch lightweight board??? The painting was left with no protection at all, no wrapping, separated from its frame so it could slam against it. I highly encourage anyone who ships a valued item to avoid this store. read more

Very disappointed in the service at this UPS store. I scheduled notary services on line for my elderly parents. I didn't want them to have to wait in line, so I thought scheduling a time slot would make things easier for them. I received a confirmation e-mail with a confirmation number. The morning of the scheduled appointment I received another e-mail re-confirming the appointment and instructing me to call to cancel if unable to keep the appointment. When my parents arrived they were told the person that notarizes was not there and wasn't sure what time he would be in, if at all, and to call before they came back! What's the point in scheduling online! Would have been nice if they sent an e-mail advising me that they needed to cancel! read more

I emailed an 8 page document to be printed in black and white. Came by the store 2-3 hours later, but the document was ready (which was no big deal but the store was empty with the exception of two workers). One person printed the document, but i was surprised an 8 pg b&w document cost over 8 dollars. I was a little annoyed as that seemed like gouging. It's unlikely I'll return there. read more

I have been very disappointed with this store since they have appeared to change ownership. However what they did last week goes beyond disappointing. My daughter who is old enough to drive but still figuring out how the world works was dropping a package off for me. She thought I said UPS although I said the post office. It had a label on it that said no postage necessary and instead of directing her to the post office they charged her $15 to ship it. Completely unprofessional and shady. read more
