Very small location customer service was great. No long lines always a plus. Did an Amazon drop off so no fees charged.

I set up a notary appointment at 10 AM. When I got there, I was informed that the notary does not arrive until 2 PM. I even received a confirmation reminder for a service that they weren't actually offering. read more

Came by to drop off an online return to Zappos, and just needed an 11 inch strip of tape to close off the box before completing the return. Was informed by the bearded man behind the counter that I will have to purchase a whole roll of tape first! This is supposed to be a packing store?! Very disappointing response that perhaps reflects really poor company policy. No thanks, out of principle, I will make sure to use some tape at home before I return. And if I ever see that bearded man bleeding on the side of the road, I will ask him if he is willing to purchase the bandages in my first aid kit before I assist him (on second thought, I am better than the UPS Store and its employees, so I would actually come to his aid and even call 911 for free). read more

I came here to mail passport and gun license documents. I find UPS to be more reliable when it comes to delivery and timeframes than USPS. Nonetheless, the woman who assisted me was super kind and made sure everything was good to go as I was mailing highly sensitive documents. I feel bad not giving more stars only for her. Our disappointment came with the young man Harrison I think his name was who worked there and the way this place seems to operate. I think this is my second 1-star review and it's disappointing. A gentleman who had driven an hour to meet up with someone to notarize documents had an appointment. He was told that the notary left for the afternoon... even though he had appointments. We completely understood the mans frustration because what occurred was so unprofessional. Then a woman walked in claiming she forgot her mask in her car. We were under the impression she was going to go get it from her car until the young man who works here said, "Eh I don't care". It's totally your business to not believe in science and medicine. If you think it's all a conspiracy, good for you. In such a small space it was super inconsiderate to allow her to be served versus just going and getting her mask. The whole purpose of masks is actually to protect other people, not yourself. Consideration is clearly not a strong suit here. I had a feeling I should've gone to the other location I was familiar with. Can confirm, I will next time. Thumbs down all around. read more

I visited today after an unsuccessful post office visit for flat rate shipping on a box. They were wonderful. Recommended best shipping box, packed it up and taped it up... very friendly and good price. So satisfying after the post office closing earlier than posted, and needing two 25.00 flat rate boxed there for what cost me 29.00 at UPS! So wonderful. read more

This review is for the location: 11307 York Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030 Shawn Plaza Owned by franchisee Theo I made an appointment for fingerprinting in the morning and I arrived few minutes before my appointment time and the owner Theo was working with another customer that went overtime into my appointment time. So I patiently waited. But Theo, who is also this franchise location owner, was the one performing the fingerprinting service. Theo is provided such foolish, backward-minded, and inferior service. This man was so comically unintelligent and foolish. I showed him my passport and all the information is on the first page but he marveled at the fact that my passport had more pages than he expected! So he very slow-wittingly an unintelligent manner like an animal flipped through every blank page and starred at it in wonder and marvel until he got to the end. So I asked him, may I ask what you are looking for?? And he answered, No!!!!!! I followed all of Theo's directions and never raised my voice at him at any point or cursed him but he was so immature and had such an inferior character and attitude for a grown man let alone the owner and manager of this location! Theo just gave up and quit when the first one or two fingerprint scans did not read legibly. Theo simply quit in the middle of the fingerprinting service because he got frustrated when the fingerprinting did not work immediately the first or second time. The machine kept flashing the pop up window that said the surface had to be cleaned so I said to Theo, uh I think the surface has to be cleaned. Then Theo angrily cleaned the surface .Then Theo quickly gave up and logged off the machine and walked away! Theo acted like a teenager instead of a grown man with adult character. Theo displayed such inferior character, temperament, attitude, and provided inferior service. This man is a disgrace of a businessman, worker, manager, and UPS franchise owner. UPS Store in Hunt Valley Maryland has the WORST service. If you go in to mail a package, plan on losing it forever, and better yet, don't expect anyone at the store to help you. I am still awaiting a $400 refund for a package that I sent in January and it's April! More importantly, I have stopped by no less than 10 times, called the store manager and called corporate, all to be told I need to call back. I don't understand what is so difficult. Here's the deal... you lost the package, so just give us the $400 and call it a day. But no... they make it difficult in hopes that you give up. DON'T EVER USE UPS - it's the worst customer service that I've ever experienced. Seriously... use FedEx, or another company. read more

This is my preferred UPS store. Always great service and if there's a line you won't wait long. A great group of people work there. Not to take away from their professionalism, but most of the time I leave the store laughing because the staff is joking around with each other, and it seems like they enjoy their job-including David who asked me to leave a review after I complimented him. read more

How to safely ship a UPS package and return Comcast equipment: During this Covid-19 crisis this store has no social distancing and no protective barriers for their employees. No plexiglas or plastic has been erected at the counters. The employees only wear a dust mask which will not protect them from a virus of any kind. The employees have customers stand within two feet of them and engage in long conversations about packages during that time. Customers who try to do social distancing are not waited upon or have other customers who are willing to forego social distancing taken ahead of them. To safely ship a package UPS, go to the UPS Sparks warehouse a few minutes north on York Rd where all proper protections of barriers, masks and social distancing are observed. With regard to Comcast equipment: Lay the Comcast equipment on the counter step back and tell them you want to return it. Tell them you will be back in a few minutes for your receipt. Then wait in your car until you receive the confirmation e-mail on your smartphone. That should happen just a few minutes after the UPS Store scans the equipment. Then you won't have to go back in the store. Better still, go to your account on Xfinity and find a way to get a shipping label to take to the Sparks facility. Then you never have to go near this UPS Store. read more

I have used this store twice during the pandemic to mail packages and felt comfortable being in the store both times. The staff and customers all wore masks and observed social distancing. This store is in a very convenient location and I will continue to use it. read more

I had the worst customer service experience ever at this store. I was branded by the sales clerk as being "f**** rude because I chose to go to another store when she could not answer basic questions. When are customers allowed to be treated disrespectfully by staff and it's okay. read more
