They brought to my attention that the logo on poster proofs would have been pixilated once printed. Our order was a bit complicated, since we were having multiple prints shipped to 20 locations. However, the team didn't bat an eye. Shipment was accurate and extremely fast -- from the time the proofs were approved to the moment the posters arrived at their respective destinations, all across the state. Store owner and manager refuse to take accountability even when they acknowledge staff mistakes. Unfortunately the highly valuable one of a kind Chihuly glass piece shipped by UPS Store 0542 arrived broken, which is why you put appropriate insurance on UPS packages. This is where the UPS store failed me by incorrectly assigning half the insurance value requested, which has cost me almost $3,000 in claim value. I reasonably requested a 100% refund of the $595.20 packing and shipping costs to provide a small portion of the money I was unable to recover. Since that request the UPS Store owner and manager has tied themselves in knots explaining (when I can actually get them to engage in a conversation) why they don't owe me any refund on what I paid them, while acknowledging their staff made a mistake on the insurance claim value! Very disappointing response that perhaps reflects really poor company policy. No thanks, out of principle, I will make sure to use some tape at home before I return.
