The prices here can be a little higher, but if you have everything already packed up, or even a pre-purchased label, you won't have to worry about any of that. It's always clean inside, staff is quick to get the line moving and to make things as easy as possible for you. Parking is also extremely convenient here, unlike at the post office.

Most staff members have come across as impolite, and often there's little to no eye contact or basic acknowledgment of the customer. Customer service really sets the tone for a business, especially when handling quick service tasks like returns. There's definitely significant room for improvement in how customers are greeted and assisted. I genuinely hope management takes this as constructive feedback and works toward creating a friendlier, more attentive environment. I wish them well and hope to see positive changes in the future.

I found out that due to a mistake by the manufacturer who was shipping it out that the order didn't leave Georgia until Tuesday. I had a whole day of work planned around having the material Tuesday so I could leave Wednesday at 6am to drive the material to a job site (2 hours away). After getting nowhere with the 1-800 number, I decided to drive out to the Fortress St. office to talk to a human and see what my options were. This is where the above average customer service began. Tuesday evening I drove out and spoke with Kathy, who tracked my package and assured me it would come in the next morning. She was unable to give me an exact time, but took my number down and told me I would get a call as soon as they knew which truck it was on and would provide me with an ETA. Wednesday morning around 8am Norris called me, just as promised and let me know my package should arrive by 10 am. I showed up at 9:40am, and Jelly(Anjelica) knew exactly who I was and notified me that my package had just arrived. She had everything out for me to load up in no time at all. I was on the road at 9:45am. These three coworkers helped pull off a miracle that helped me keep my day as well as an important job on track.

Today I was helped by Rob. He is one of my favorite workers to be assisted by. He never ever minds when I ask him for suggestions on the best or most cost effective way to ship things. He is very thorough, and quick to be of service. He walks me through things, helps with my packaging, points out my tracking, etc. and always asks if there is anything else I may need. Whenever I get to the Post Office, I always hope I get either Rob, or another guy that once I get his name I'll add it to my review. Today I was an especially disorganized mess, but Rob was kind and accommodating. I really appreciated it, especially since I'm not normally like that. I'll definitely be back to the Vallombrosa Post Office like usual, hopefully with me not having such an off day. Thank you again :) Edit - here is the name of the other person I like there - Doyle!! He is super duper nice and helpful.
