I have been to this location several times since it's between my job and home. Today I went to drop off a package and the doors were locked. I kept pulling thinking maybe I didn't grab it hard enough. It was an employee vacuuming and he just looked at me. I decided to send an email about the incident. It's awesome when you can just come in and drop off an item and there is no hassle. I can appreciate the fact that workers are serious about the covid pandemic and are taking precautions to make sure that not only are they safe, but that the public stay just as safe. This makes me definitively come back and back, and back... Although I had three people ahead of me in social distance mode, the line went fast and these young ladies and gentleman were extremely professional. This is something I don't see that often when it comes to young people, i know a generalization and I apopllogize, but it's soemthing that I take noticed to right away. My package needed extra things to ensure that it was safe on process and the young gentlemen took care of the situation at no extra cost which again, can be quite nice when it comes to service. I've used these guys a few times and each time it was a bad experience. The first time they refused to package a warranty return even though it is included in the warranty program. The second time they refused to give me information on their flat rate shipping program or even acknowledge it. They are poorly trained and will say anything to avoid doing work. I received notification via email from UPS that my package was delivered to this store on 6/23 at 1:21pm. I immediately contacted the store and spoke with a guy by the name of Chris, who by the way didn't ask for any tracking number, but confirmed my package arrived. I asked how long did I have to retrieve the item and I was informed 7 days. I went to the store on 6/24 at 12:16pm, where Chris advised he left the store around 5pm on 6/23 and he doesn't remember anyone coming to pick up that item on 6/23. Then he advised someone picked the item up on 6/23 around 1pm. I informed him I did not come to the store on 6/23 and can he look at the footage from the prior day to determine who stole my item. He advised the only thing I can do is to go to the police station and file a police report. I informed him this course of action is unfair. Someone came into this location (or inside job), supposedly showed them my ID, they gave them my package, and now the only thing I can do is file a police report for the missing item. I contacted the police to report a theft from their store. Once the police arrived, the officer asked for any documentation showing proof of pickup, at this time Chris decided to print off the proof of delivery. Still no proof of pickup and if so by whom. They have no paper trail as to track any package once they have been picked up (considering this is UPS which is home of the tracking numbers/services). No documentation of a signature, no copy of an ID, no anything. I find this very hard to believe. These items were birthday gifts for my daughters for this upcoming weekend. I have reported a claim through the UPS website and the sender- and filed a police report. I will not stop exposing this staff (staff member Chris) for the thieves they are. By the way, I never received any notification my package was ever picked up. This is unfair they can steal a customers package and the only ramification that can be done is to file a police report and HOPE something gets resolved. read more

I'm very surprised that this place isn't on YELP yet. I come here every day in the summer when my cornhole business is booming - and the service is always great and friendly. The manager is always very helpful and the staff is attentive in that they see my SUV pull up and know that I usually have alot of boxes to drop off - including 56lb boxes that are 4ft tall and 2ft wide. They are always helping me out even though I do not buy my postage from them, but rather print them online from my UPS account and then drop them off here (so..basically, I don't think they are making any money from me??) I would recommend anyone in the are to do business with these guys. Also they accept USPS parcels so you don't have to make a separate trip to the post office. read more

They do all sorts of UPS stuff (mailing and receiving packages, etc.), notarize stuff, accept US Mail, sent US Mail of all sorts, copy, fax, and even fingerprint (not sure why, though...). I used this UPS store to mail a wedding present to some friends. Because it was fragile, seeing as how it contained champagne glasses and a totally unrelated liquid that is completely legal to ship across state lines--and, OK, because this store is closer to my apartment than the post office and I'm lazy--I figured I'd go with UPS rather than entrusting it to our beloved national mail service. I packaged the contents carefully and dropped them off at the store on a Tuesday afternoon. I paid, received a tracking number, and was told the box would arrive in Michigan on Thursday. On Friday morning, I got an awkward phone call from the UPS Store. "Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the package you shipped was damaged in transit. But it's scheduled to be delivered today." Notice how there's not even the ghost of an apology, and how he also didn't do anything like outline my options for dealing with the situation? Huh, me too. I asked for more details about how damaged the package was, but he couldn't provide them. He did tell me that I could submit a claim request if I wanted, but that since I had packed the box myself, it "probably wouldn't work." I requested that the box instead be sent back to me so that I could see what was broken, replace it as necessary, and send the gift again (this time by FedEx). He said that he couldn't return it to me, but I could ask that it be returned to the store. When I asked that he do so, he hung up. After waiting a few minutes, I called the store back. "I think we got disconnected," I said. "Yeah," he said. He confirmed that the package would be returned to the store and that they would call me back when it arrived. The following Tuesday, the recipients of the package informed me that it had arrived at their home, apparently completely intact. I don't know what to believe anymore--except that this UPS store stinks. That is pretty clear. read more

Had to ship a big heavy box via UPS freight. I had the box, I didn't have the pallet/skid. I called 2 UPS stores and neither of them had a clue as to what I should do. Ended up calling this UPS store on Taylor Street, and they told me over the phone what the cost would be (way less than I had budgeted) and how they'd take care of me. Fast forward 2 weeks, I finally found a way to get said box out of my house and to Taylor Street. UberXL to the rescue. Walked in, was greeted by a friendly employeed named Chris, and he rolled out with a flat cart and helped me get the huge and heavy box into the facility. I didn't have it taped, I didn't have it labelled, and I didn't have much other information. Chris said he would take care of it, and then immediately did. They didn't charge me extra for taping and labelling, although I've been charged for those extra fees a-plenty at other shippers. He also told me I could just email the store the shipping label and they would take care of it. Called the next day, and the owner told me it was all taken care of. Incredible service, way low price, and great to know my expensive box is getting shipped like it is supposed to. read more

My wife and I have had a mailbox here for something like 7 years. The only reason we're leaving them is because we're moving far far away (2200 miles, specifically). The staff have been fantastic every time we've interacted with them. I can't comment on prices of things like faxes but the mailbox rates are fair. I'd come back the minute I moved back to Chicago! Under no circumstance should you use this UPS store. They threw 4 vintage bar stools into a box without wrapping and charged me $500. Then one broke, they told me the stool had to go back to Chicago for a claim and once it arrived, they charged me another $125 to get it back to the west coast. They're a franchise store, so UPS was unable to help me. And on top of it, they were rude. Avoid this place at all cost! Use UPS or FedEx directly. Learned a huge lesson on franchise owners. read more

I was really clueless about returning an item on Amazon! The package that I got the item in was ripped! Got to this store and bam customer service golden style. Or better yet a day at the spa at UPS!!! The awesome young girl at the counter taped of my almost destroyed package and I got out of there in less than 3 minutes. One star is generous. Worst place on earth? "Employee" quoted me $200 to mail a 4lb pkg, and claimed that USPS wouldn't do it for less, after I had just told him that I had just been quoted $40 at post office. Wtf. Pretty sure he just didn't want to have to do work. read more

I use this site since it's just a walk around my house and I'm happy I did, although the price may seem a little much the manager and the customer reps do make an effort to make your delivery as cost efficient as possible. When I pay with my credit card I did not sign the back of it the older African American man stated "Oh, you didn't sign the back of your card, I have to see ID- but to ensure ultimate credit card safety ma'am, you should not only not sign the back of the card but you should write CID or see ID on the back, so no one can just sign what ever on the back and the sales rep will always look" this staff here is very pleasant, courteous, attentive, and patient. They also deliver with USPS priority mail, they have post office boxes for rent, you can order custom professional name tags, sell postage stamps, and you can fax here and they also ship and provide you with the tracking number.
