The lady there at 9am 4/15/26 was so rude for absolutely no reason, and not helpful at all

When your visit to a UPS store to do a boring, pesky errand turns into the most fun thing you've done all day you know something is being done right. I came in to scan, print, sign and fax some documents and then decided I needed to send the hard copies express as well. It was almost closing time. Allante and Karees did everything for me so cheerfully, and were such entertaining companions as we waited for the recalcitrant fax machine to do its thing. It took a few tries but finally went through. They made suggestions, and I took them. I had to re-do some documents to get them right, so they made me extra copies of the documents; and they ended up charging me only for the express letter. Meanwhile lots of other customers came in and out, picking up, dropping off, many if them well known to Allante. We wished each other a "Merry Christmas" as Allante and Karees finally were able to close the metal gates across and close up shop. read more

I absolutely love this location. Everyone is so professional and very helpful. Service is very quick and they get you in and out. Even if there is a long line....they will definitely get it down where you're not waiting in there for so long. It's always very clean and clutter free, lists of space for you to maneuver. read more

DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Take the trip to another location, if you can. I promise you, it will be worth the trip. I encountered very poor customer service when attempting to ship an envelope using a label purchased online. The lady assisting me abruptly informed me that nothing could be done after scanning my barcode. She handed me the corporate office number, suggesting I could complain about her to corporate and even give them her name, as she claimed there was nothing she could do due to the barcode not working. I was honestly feeling stunned and confused. Before I could ask for clarification, she left me to assist someone else. I didn't know what to do because I was not understanding what was going on. So, I checked my email with the online label and it said "Print your label at home, or bring this barcode to a UPS location and we'll print it for you." I waited for her to assist the other customer to show her the email and realized that she was making derogatory remarks about me. About how I didn't understand that she couldn't help me.... And things like that. When I showed her the email, she said again that she couldn't scan the code, because she was receiving an error message, I told her that it said that I could technically print the label myself too and impolitely told me that it would have a fee of $2.50. I was like okay.... While I was using the computer, to print the label, I heard her laughing and talking about me with her colleague. She said that I shouldn't even bother to ask for a tracking number because she would not give it to me. After hearing this, I paid the $2.50 for the sheet of paper with the label and left. I rather seek assistant elsewhere due to concerns of the handling of my envelope. Honestly, I wasn't expecting her to be nice since she was also treating the customer before me very poorly. read more

TL:DR - Doesn't matter, just avoid this particular location at all costs. ------------------------------- I rarely come and rate chain stores, let alone non-food chain stores, but this place deserves the review. I have come here about 5+ times since they are just a block away, but not anymore. Every time I come in, you get a terrible attitude from the employee. And there's only about 3 that rotate in and out. They truly act like spoiled high school students who shouldn't be bothered to do any work, and don't try too hard to hide their displeasure. I dropped off a package to have been returned to best buy, and it took over 2 months and multiple phone calls for them to have SHIPPED IT. It literally sat in their back room for TWO MONTHS, even after I had called them multiple times. On top of that, I usually use UPS to get simple document notarized. They charged me $12 + tax for that service. Absolutely ridiculous. Most places, including other UPS branches typically only charge $1 per signature for simple documents. This single location is really dragging down the UPS name. I have had plenty of great experience with UPS stores outside of this one. I have, and will continue to drive/bike/take the cta to other locations due to this branches poor service. read more

This location is a joke. I needed a 561 page manual printed and I went to UPS' online website. They wanted $70 to print 561 all black and white pages. I reluctantly paid as I had no better options. They had me pick a due date, and since I needed it by Saturday afternoon, I picked Friday morning at 11:30am for my pick up time. I didn't make it to the store Friday, so on Saturday morning I show up to pick it up. The ladies working checked the back and it wasn't printed. When I asked why, they said they never print anything until the customer shows up because sometimes customers don't come. Why that should matter when everything is prepaid is besides the point, I was now going to have to wait for my 561 page document to print. When I then asked why I had to choose a date and time when they never printed anything until you show up, they said, "I don't know, that's corporate." But oh no! I couldn't have them just print it now. You see, both (aka all) of their printers that print big jobs have been down for days. And even though they had my phone number and email address, I was never called or emailed, and the online site still accepted my money. Even better, when I asked for a refund, they said, "it will get auto refunded in a few days because it was never printed." In the meantime I was out $70. So, to recap, this UPS store which advertises print services charged me $70 to print 561 black and white pages, promised me a date and time to pick it up, never printed it, never notified me that they couldn't print it, and was also unable to print it when I showed up in person. They also refused to give me a timely refund. WHAT. THE. HELL?! I will never go to this location again, and you shouldn't either. The incompetence here is staggering. read more

I happened to stumble upon this location as I normally go near my house. However, it was well worth the trip, and I will definitely be back. The young lady with the red hair was beyond patient with me and demonstrated so much courtesy. I was so impressed by her professionalism and knowledge of the mailing system. Quite often times when employees are not well informed about the business. I will give this a 20 out of 10 and they have a customer for life!!! the customer service was superb! Went there at 12:30 pm on Monday and the lady was super rude to my friend for no reason. In addition to that, after purchasing a label for 90 dollars saying that the QR code only had to be shown to the cashier, the lady told us to print the label for additional cost. While my friend was printing the label, we overheard the lady telling another customer that she would not give us a tracking number. Some people are mean for no reason at all. Very unfortunate. BlueCross changed their address during shelter-in-place and I was sending group policy checks to the wrong location. Once the error was discovered I was by UPS that I needed to overnight the check or they would cancel the policy. I sent the check next day air am. Next day air am is guaranteed on time or your money back. They charged me $70. The package did not leave their store for two days. BlueCross fortunately did not hold me accountable for their incompetence and did not cancel the health insurance of my employees. I went and asked for a refund a couple times but there is only one person who does refunds and she is never there. When I finally did manage to find her at the store I was told they are not doing refunds because of Covid and was actually told "delivery is not guaranteed anyway." I showed her my tracking information and receipt and was told to take it up with corporate. Corporate told me I need to have her call them once the refund is issued. Use FedEx or USPS read more

We have regular packages getting shipped back-and-forth for business so I visit various UPS stores around town. My expectations are moderate, I can say with certainty this is the worst one in the city though. Barcode readers never work, they didn't work 2 months ago, and they still don't. Everyone working behind the counter is very slow, and not attentive. Place is always crowded. Want to test your patience just to drop off a package, this is your spot! read more

Placed a $56 print order, received confirmation that it'd be ready May 8. Went May 9 to pickup and was told the computers were down and was assured the issue would be resolved by May 10. Went back May 12 and was again told they "can't access the computers". I had to call customer service and speak to 3 different people to finally get a refund. read more

TL;DR: Cheap notary ($1) if you don't include the $15 "admin. fee." IF the person happens to be there when you visit. FULL REVIEW: This review is purely based on the notary services pricing and phone customer service. I couldn't believe that I needed to get something notarized (yes, they still do that in 2020!) and I also couldn't believe that I could do it a few blocks from my home. I called to check the hours before I went to the store. The customer service tree had a recording selection just for notary services (wow, they must do it a lot), M-F during the day, none Saturday. I went in on Friday afternoon and, foolish me, I had believed the recording. The notary wasn't in and would be in on Saturday. On Saturday morning I called again, trying to get a human being on the phone, since the recording had been incorrect the previous day. What happens if you want to speak to a person? I got a voice-mailbox that was full. Fortunately, when I went to the store, a notary was there, but she was helping a customer that needed 20 - 25 minutes of packaging. Did she take two minutes to let the other employee work on that and take care of me? No. I patiently waited. When she was ready, she told me the pricing: a mere $1 per signature, PLUS a $15 "administration fee!" Really? I didn't have a choice, because I needed to get it done, but never again. $16 for two minutes of their time. My sister went to a UPS store in the 'burbs and it only cost $1 total. I'll still go to this store to drop off prepaid packages (i.e., Amazon returns), but that's it for this rip-off franchisee. read more

I've been going to this location for years because it is convenient and in the neighborhood. Almost EVERY time I walk in or step up to the counter the staff never says "hello" or "how may I help you." Instead, it's just a look or they are short, curt, and barely speak unless it's necessary. Just simple customer service and a good morning/thank you go a long way. I try to be patient and understand everyone is going through something and while I certainly appreciate being efficient, the service just doesn't sit well with me, especially since it's what I've grown to expect when I go in. For this reason, I would go out of my way to another location because this is not a local business I want to support. read more

The staff at this location is lazy. I brought in a package with a completed UPS label. The employee could not do their job and ship the package. Instead, I was told that I needed to go to another location with a new label. I wasn't told why this location could not assist me with a new label if mine was no good or why they were unable to ship my package-I've shipped here plenty of times before. This location is run purely at the franchisee's convenience. With limited hours to begin with, they can't even be bothered to open on time (still gated up at 8.45 on a Wednesday). Most of the staff are incredibly surly. If you return Amazon items they'll be sure to let you know how it's basically "all they do" (shouldn't that be a good thing?) as they grimly scan your barcodes. I walked 20 min in the freezing cold to get here, then I walked straight out of here after waiting in line. I asked the cashier to help me print a return label and he pointed at the computer and told me to read it like I'm some kind of idiot. Wish I got his name. At that point I was the only one in the store so there was no reason not to help me except sheer laziness. I'm now headed to FedEx to get this printed and then gotta find somewhere else to drop off the return and then spend my life writing notes in things I buy online asking them please not to ship UPS. this stores stated hours of operation end at 7pm. so why am i and 2 other customers paving back and forth outside of the store while the security guard and whom i assume is a manager do a great job of acting like they don't see us at 6:40pm on a tuesday. pass up this store and go elsewhere or cross your fingers hoping they're open during the hours posted on yelp and on their door. by 6:44pm i see the manager getting in the passenger seat of a car and security walking down the street carrying the trash. i guess the store closed early because her ride was early. read more

I mailed an important application from this UPS this morning after having documents notarized and making copies. I had previously made an appointment for notary services and received a call on Monday to update me that the notary was not in again until Wednesday. I was super grateful for the call and update, so rescheduled. Today (Wednesday), I worked with Karla and she was helpful and communicative. She ran through costs and was a real pleasure. To echo comments below, avoid this location in general, especially for picking up packages. Although there are one or two employees who are pleasant and helpful, majority of staff including the manager are rude and condescending. They do not follow the UPS site rules regarding package pick up. They have lied about where my packages were and also forwarded the deliveries without my permission. Do not recommend. Luckily our route driver is a super nice guy and is professional and honest. read more

The location is super convenient but it's a shame the service is so poor. I went in on a Saturday to drop off a pre-paid return several months ago and there were no other customers, but I could hear someone on the phone on what was a clearly personal call in a back room. I made some noise putting the package on the counter so they would know I was there but still had to wait probably 3-4 minutes for her to get off the phone and come accept the package; no apology or anything. Then, earlier this week, I call with a simple yes/no question about a service and no one picks up so I left a message on the machine. She greeted me immediately as I walked in and even asked me about my Halloween plans. She seemed very friendly. I only needed to drop off a shipment so the transaction wasn't difficult at all.
