It's barely any wait time. Their nice/polite/quick to process packages. And really understanding.

Not my first choice! I only come here when I don't have a choice. I brought in a box that I'm returning to Amazon. The man who helped me was so rude and aggressive. He's an Indian man with a white beard in his 60s. Avoid this place! Go to Whole Foods or another UPS store. read more

5/2022 The upgrade to 3 stars is because they do have other workers at this location that are more nice and attentive than my prior experience. Within the past week, I went into this store to do a return. The more rude guy from my last experience was working but also a very nice woman was working at the counter. This place is terrible! I went there yesterday and the man that always works there was so rude and refused my service because I told him Amazon pays for my return and it clearly states it on my barcode I had. He was trying to get me to pay for 3 packages when I had the barcode. He screamed and yelled and me and said get out of the store. I try to avoid going when he is working. He is always mean. I came in and he was screaming at the person on the phone. I think he needs to be fired. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he is the boss so beat it. read more

I went to get fingerprinted at this location. I was immediately greeted by the two people working behind the counter. Hanif helped me with my finger printing and he was super kind, relaxed, and helpful. Just all around great. Meanwhile the gal behind the counter (I didn't catch her name) has taken a steady stream of customers. She too was extremely pleasant. All told, I was in an out with my appointment in 5 minutes. This store has always been my go-to for returns and things of that nature. However, they have recently earned my trust and business after a recent scam attempt on a family member. This person was being scammed, and in an effort to explain to him the problem, I conferenced him in on a phone call to this UPS store where the scammer was going to send him information. When we called, the gentleman who answered the phone said he had not received anything, but that the whole thing sounded like a scam. We got off the phone, and I thought that was it. However, I received a call about 10 minutes later from the worker at UPS letting me know that my family member had just been in to collect an email sent to him by the scammer and that he was very worried and gave me more detailed information regarding the scam. They had no responsibility to do this - they were just looking out for us. They now have my allegiance. Thank you! read more

I've had an issue with the same clerk every time I've tried to use this store. Always a problem. Poor customer service. I always end up leaving with my package and have to use another store the next day. read more

The owner and employees are very rude when they make a mistake with your package. They could not find my package that I had delivered to their store complete with tracking number. He didn't even ask for ID or attempt to look for the package- he only asked my name and then said that it's not there. I had to get UPS customer service involved and then suddenly the package magically appeared and was in the store the whole time. No apologies from the owner, just excuses, rudeness and combative behavior when confronted about his bad business practices. I normally love UPS, but not this store - they are awful. read more

HORRIBLE!!! They will nickel and dime you for simple tasks. I was in the area and decided to drop in. I was returning an order from Zappos and needed a small tape across the flaps to seal it shut..ONE quick roll of the tape would've sufficed..I was told they would charge $2.18 for this...unbelievable and shocking.The UPS by my house (Foster/Kimball) does this complimentary. I walked out with box in tow...solely on principle... BAD customer service...Thankfully I have a UPS close to my house that actually values their customers business and will not be as ridiculous as charging for something as effortless as taping up a box. read more

I ship about 5,000 UPS envelopes a year, which means that I am in a UPS Store daily. I try to give all of my shipments to the UPS location in River North but sometimes I need to ship closer to home. Recently, I needed to drop several envelopes at the store in Edison Park (store 0742). While I was there I requested that I have access to the computer to print a next day airbill. I was told that the store had no means of printing the label. WHAT?!?! The store has a computer... What is it there for? I assume the computer for customer use (to obtain and print SHIPPING LABELS!), not for employees to check their social media accounts and personal email. Bottom line, THIS STORE IS JOKE. GET A PRINTER! read more

I prefer to use fedex, but when I have to ship UPS this place normally underwhelms. The location itself is not my favorite. The parking lot situation is terrible. That said today the systems were down. In the past there have been situations where they can't print a label and other small things. read more

Mailed a package there and parking lot was about 4 inches deep in slushy snow, sidewalk in front of store not shoveled - the ONLY business in that mini-mall on Harlem & Touhy that didn't shovel. This is the worst experience I've ever had with UPS and the UPS store. This should be zero stars. My package was overnighted, didn't make it in time, and was held at the store for five days. I went in repeatedly to pick it up - because that is where the UPS email told me it had arrived - and the owner told me he didn't have it....multiple times. I showed him the email, gave him the tracking number, and he refused to go even look in the back for it. He told me I had to call customer service, which I did and they told me the package was in fact there. I had the company from New York - which sent the package also call UPS - And UPS confirmed the package was there! When I went back an hour later he had my package and said it was there the whole time! I asked why he didn't go in the back and look for it when I had asked him to and he told me it was sitting at the front, which it was not because I was in that store for 20 minutes while we stood at the counter and he told me it wasn't there. Terrible businessman, terrible reputation for UPS which otherwise is great. If you ever have anything of value, do not send or receive it at this location!! read more

The guys here are friendly and helpful, but a recent issue has unfortunately earned them one star. I purchased 2-day delivery for a time-sensitive item and gave it to them at 4:57pm on Friday, Jan 20th for a guaranteed delivery by EOD Tuesday, January 24th. It was delivered a day late, on the 25th, for which I was billed a relatively large late fee by the recipient. When I contacted UPS support, I was first passed around between chat, email, automated system, and phone agent and eventually told that they were refusing to honor the service guarantee on account of the local store having delayed the Origin Scan for this package so that it was "technically" accepted at 5:42pm and considered to have been dropped off the next business day (both of these time stamps are recorded in the tracking log). It was then incorrectly sorted, causing further delay. Bottom line: I don't care if it was the store's fault, UPS logistics' fault, the delivery trucks' fault, or otherwise-- it was still UPS's fault, not mine, and I paid them to assure timely delivery. I am now out the cost of the fees associated with shipping and the late fee with no willingness to make right. There is value in the service guarantee and, unfortunately, it looks like the store was not able to comply with the guidelines that allow this policy to be valid for me. Will never use this location or UPS again-- especially frustrating because both are far more convenient to me than FedEx. read more

I do a high volume of shipments and they have always been friendly and helpful. I live closer to another UPS store, but this is the one I go to because of the staff. read more
