I can count on UPS to ship my items on time, every time. When I was a kid, I lived across the street from a large catholic church. Every morning, a brown UPS truck would stop directly in front of my driveyway and make deliveries to this church. The unique sound of the UPS truck engine, the squeak of the brakes, and the single honk of the horn signified the recurring event. At that time, I called it "ups" instead of "U-P-S". These days, as I ride the bus to work, I see a large UPS airplane flying into Cleveland Hopkins airport bringing the Cleveland area's UPS deliveries on a consistent schedule. A few minutes later, I usually see the FedEx airplane too! When I see these planes flying in the sky, I can't help but to think, "There's the real Santa!" These airplanes are not a far cry from the flying reindeer and sleigh bit either. This UPS store is fast and efficient. I can count on the UPS truck making its daily pickup at 7:00 PM sharp. So I know I have to be there before that time to ensure my package goes out that day. And then my package will be taken to the UPS hub by the airport. From there, it gets loaded onto that plane and probably flown to the main Louisville, KY hub for distribution. We take so much for granted with freight companies, but having worked for a global manufacturer, I learned more about shipping logistics. Having a brick and mortar presence close to home is very helpful for me. It helps me be a better ebay salesman. If I need to return an item via RMA to a manufacturer, this is where I go. Now, don't even think about using UPS (or Fedex, for that matter) to ship something back to China. You definitely want to use the USPS for that because it will cost a fraction of what UPS would charge you, unless you've been provided with a UPS pre-paid shipping label to China, but that would most certainly not happen. If you're shipping anywhere North America, UPS is usually competitively priced. They sell shipping supplies such as boxes, labels, and tape and the service has always been fast and friendly for me. read more

Try your hardest to avoid this place, if u want to use ups services just go straight to the warehouses. I had to and ended up paying significantly less for shipping than I did here. Currently they have untrained and unqualified staff who cannot answer any questions should one have concerns or problems with their ups service. The manager of this location david (I DON'T know if there is more than one manager) has avoided me when trying to resolve and issue I had with their location. Just generally untrustworthy capitalists but what's new. If you need anything important done or just want to make sure your packages will be handled responsibly AVOID this location at all costs. read more

I was returning an Amazon item. I didn't need to box it , but since it was already boxed , I returned it as it was. I told them I used scotch tape to seal it, so it may need a little more tape. They wanted a dollar for me to tape it, so I took it out of the box and said they can do it themselves, I didn't even need to box it....Ugh ! read more

Everytime I come here to ask a question they just tell me to call corporate. They don't even give me a card. They tell me to look it up. I have a box here and considering just forgetting about it. All the "services" they offer they can't provide at this location and told me go to the fedex down the street. Won't even print anything except basic copies. They have no idea about shipping options and when I asked questions about the brochures near the door for small business shipping I was once again told to google the corporate number. read more

The employees here are really nice. I never really ship things from here unless it is a company pre-paid return because it is more expensive than USPS, but I go in here to buy supplies all the time. The UPS store has boxes and envelopes of all shapes and sizes and levels of protection to fit the various things I ship out. The prices on their non multi pack envelopes is pretty good compared to other stores. They also accept credit card for even purchases as small as under $2. read more

I would give these people a zero if I could. I spend a lot of money shipping packages to my family for birthdays and holidays. I have come here for several years. Well I had a niece who had just moved and I was not aware. They delivered the package to some new people. These people said they called UPS to pick up the box. When you use the UPS store, it is not UPS and you have to call the store- which I did several times. They did not call me back and several times I got a person who kept saying it takes a while for the package to be returned. I asked them to see if it was picked up- no, they couldn't. Finally nearly a month later I got a manager who promised to call by Friday- and you guessed, it's Monday and she did not call. She said oh yeah, family emergency- but I had to call her! Then she says no record of pickup. Note that he post office would have forwarded for free. So save money. These people could care less about customers. I notice they already have a low rating on yelp. Wish I had known. read more
