I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at your 423 Brookline Ave on 4/15/2025. I attempted to ship a package to Bermuda; however, it was incorrectly routed to Barbados. This error occurred despite my explicit correction of the address to the employee who initially processed the shipment. When I spoke with the manager, Syed, on 5/02/2025 he refused to acknowledge any fault on the part of his employee or take any responsibility for the misdirection of my package. Instead, he insisted that because I had signed the initial shipping document (which contained the incorrect address due to employee error), I was solely responsible. I was further disappointed to learn that this franchise utilizes USPS for shipping, leading me to question the value proposition compared to going directly to USPS. As a result of this unacceptable experience and lack of accountability, I will no longer be using this location for any future shipping needs. read more

The quality of services is generally mediocre. The employees here take a lackadaisical approach to customer service more often than not, and there's no warning for services that might not be available. For example, their notary public had been sick and they didn't tell anyone that their notary would be gone for weeks... Thankfully, TD Bank in Fenway notarized my documents for free, but it cut much more into my day to go there. As an aside, I found out that banks will notarize documents for you and you do NOT have to be a customer there. Most recently, I stood outside in line at this UPS waiting 45 minutes with several others behind me, only to be turned away at the counter because he decided to only take packages that were pre-labeled. It would have been nice to know beforehand. Put up a sign or let people know. If you can help it, go to the UPS in Coolidge Corner. It took literally less than 2 minutes from start to finish, and almost no time to generate a label for my package. read more

this place should literally just close down. I waited for 30 min in a line with 7 people at around 5 pm, and there was no movement in the line for 20 min. Then, finally, one person left. I waited another 10 min and there was still no movement. Literally, there is a line of people standing 30 feet out their door and people eventually just started leaving. I went in there to see what was taking so long - turns out, they have one idiot working at the front. ONE. This store is the quintessential example of a dead-end job where the front desk clerk just bides his time until he can clock out. There is no efficiency - the workers literally give no f*cks. He does not care how many people are in line. There is no supervising manager with half a brain to maybe consider helping out during peak times. This place really should close down. Fast convenient service. However, only three documents were notarized and I was charged for four. Wish I noticed it before I left.

I DONT RECOMMEND VISITING THIS LOCATION AT ALL! Horribly rude employees that either ignore you or give you attitude whenever you ask them a question!! They'll either give you a look to make you feel stupid for your inquiry (not like I have the complete right to get information about the product i'm about to purchase) or say "I don't know" or give you some snappy rude remark! Also, this is NOT the first time! The only reason I came back to this location is because its close to my place BUT i'd rather go all the way downtown or to another further location than deal with their bullshit again! Seriously to whoever is hiring those people. Ever heard of communication or interpersonal skills? Your employees could use some. Don't go here if you need something notarised; the notary only works ~2.5 hours a day and refuses to follow the directions given on legal documents (wills, contracts, etc.). Just use a notary at one of the nearby bank branches instead. read more

I think there are 2 employees who work here. Both are very pleasant. Unlike many other UPS Stores. Always greet me with a hello and smile. It is a small UPS store, but they have boxes, tape, everything for shipping. They are very efficient. I think they have post office boxes there too. I ship things using UPS all the time. They explain the tracking number etc.. The only negative is they can be slow. They get things right, so you need patience. Which is fine by me. But they do take their time. read more

Store was supposed to open at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Nobody was there and the store was locked when I showed up at ~10:30. I waited around until ~10:45 with another customer and nobody showed up. I finally had to leave. If you say you will open at a certain time, you should be open at that time. read more

Awful service. Unhelpful staff left us waiting for almost an hour. The store is extremely cluttered with boxes and tools all over the place. Cannot complete the simplest tasks without complete hand holding and supervision. Will find another store to go to. read more

This was my first time at UPS, and I hardly do reviews. But the employee Jackie was so helpful, patient and polite that her service deserved recognition. Will definitely come here again because the customer service she provided was phenomenal. read more
