Broke my TV during shipment. And when I claimed for compensation, UPS said "Claim Not Approved" WITHOUT GIVING ME A REASON!!! The pictures uploaded to the claims shows OBVIOUS damages to the screen, the frames and outside the box. When they called me for "additional information" asking if the box was damage, the answer was YES, it was damaged everywhere. claim still denied. dude, SERIOUSLY???!!! at least explain why it was denied. I bought a Heavy Duty Tv shipping box at Home Depot. Bubble wrapped the TV like a turkey. Used up 3 brand new rolls of tape to tape the entire box from side to side, top to bottom. This is a great UPS store. The staff is always very friendly and they are very knowledgeable.

This location is small. It has mailboxes so you can have your mail delivered there and give people the impression you live at that address but you really don't cause it's just a UPS store with mailboxes. It is sometimes busy. There is rarely more than one staff person. Sometimes that person is pleasant. Sometimes that person is not pleasant. So that has to do with service. So sometimes they rate a 5 star. And other times a 1 Star. So they get a 3. I think that fair. Parking is available out front and there is a security guard who monitors and observes that people don't park there and walk across the street to Mizner Park. Don't be THAT person. And don't talk nasty to the security guard. He's just doing his job. Ya think he likes it? I doubt so. Be a nice neighbor. Like Mr Rogers would want you to be. Try hard. read more

I don't usually write reviews for businesses other than restaurants/bars, but this UPS store warrants a negative review. Let me start by staying that the woman behind he counter (unfortunately I don't know her name) is always so sweet and helpful! She seems to do everything in this store. The man behind he counter, however, is usually standing around idle while the line lengthens. Today he managed to do something even more annoying. I had been waiting in line for a few minutes while the woman behind the counter helped other customers. A woman entered the store and seemed to cut me in line by leaning against the counter. After she assured me that she was just resting her wrist, I figured I was fine to continue standing in line, like civilized people usually do in stores. After watching this, the male employee got up and immediately helped this woman who had cut me in line (shockingly, she wasn't "resting her wrist"). At this point, I had been standing there for a good 6 minutes, and then man had clearly seen me. Rather than take the people on line, he helped her first. I have used this location for more than 2 years and I have had NO PROBLEMS, either with the staff, the service or the quality of their customer service. DO NOT LET THESE IDIOTS PACK YOUR VALUABLE ITEMS - "LEAVE IT TO ME; I will wrap and ship it for you," For less than one week, I was the proud owner of a beautiful, hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind piece of Atzompa Pottery, from Oaxaca. No guide to Mexican pottery would dare omit mention of Claumar Atzompa studios. The serving dish, 17" long in the shape of a boat, was unique and priceless. The pottery studio wrapped it in bubble-wrap, which successfully survived two long flights to West Palm. But nothing could survive the lousy wrapping job by the incompetents at UPS Store #2137 on 2nd Street in Boca. I was returning to California and did not want to risk carrying this delicate item on another long flight. The package arrived a week later. "Leave it to me," she said. For some reason only known to the idiot who packed my treasure, packed in bubble-wrap, which was then placed at the bottom of a larger box (with no bubble wrap to cushion it) with other items (including a fleece jacket which I asked her to wrap around the pottery, a request that fell on deaf ears.) There were no "Fragile", "Handle with Care" or other stickers on the box. I am sick, angry, and incredulous that someone would say, "Leave it to me," when they couldn't be trusted to pack a pizza in a box or bag groceries. If you need someone to pack a box for shipping and you care about the contents, AVOID UPS Store #2137 at all costs. And what an embarrassment to UPS. UPDATE: Owner replied to me, watched their in-store surveillance (YOU are being watched in their store) and then tried to blame me. When I dropped the items off at this UPS Store, there was a unique, priceless dish handmade by a legendary Oaxacan potter. When the package arrived, the dish was at the bottom, broken. Over the past month I have been through almost every negative situation with UPS that one would encounter (claims, deliveries, pick ups, theft and delays). Each one has been an unmitigated disaster. This UPS Store has officially made me switch to FedEx and FedEx Office permanently! Now let's jump into this UPS Store location: The employees inside the afternoon of October 30th are a prime example of imbeciles that moved to Florida from New York because their stupidity wasn't tolerated up north. I called and spoke to a woman (who was also working on the day in question) and advised her that I had three deliveries from Google HQ. She advised of a $10 pickup fee. Yes/ok, that's normal. When I arrived, there was a $30 charge for the three boxes measuring 10x4x2 each. Keep in mind that it was $4.00 to ship each one via FedEx SmartPost from Mountain View, CA. The three employees working were rude and the most grotesque examples of Palm Beach County trash. Honestly, if a bus crashed into this UPS Store when the three of them were working, I'd probably be the first on scene to throw a massive block party complete with mojitos and a round of my special vegetable and chicken croqueticas. If any of the employees knew the meaning of customer service (or graduated a high school) they could have won me over and made me pay the $30... because it's all in HOW you say it, not WHAT you say. Let's pray for a rogue Florida driver that mistakes the gas for the brake at 102 NE 2nd Street! UPS is brown, which is the color of sh*t. Skip them over if you need a package shipped or held. FedEx Office doesn't even charge for this service because they're not sh*tty. Each UPS Store is franchised while all FedEx Office locations are corporate. Let me tell you as someone who is constantly shipping and working with equipment out of the 10 times I've attempted to use this location, twice has been a good experience. The last time was the last straw. We typically ship pelican case around the country. No issues it's considered freight. I had two delivered to the house and needed to return them. They came in the cases. I attempted to return them, this store wanted me to purchase boxes to put shipping cases in. This is the height of rip off in the middle of a national tragedy. So we bought a box and he was going to tape it up and label it. He took it and that was it. It was delivered to the wrong address. When I called them they said they started a tracer which they didnt. This store is so not friendly AT ALL. I usually don't write any negative reviews for any app, but I sometime would be asked to write good ones for Yelp. And this time, I have to write this one. Because they need to learn how to respect people. I came to this store this afternoon to buy a returning envelope for my passport. Usually people would do it at USPS, but because I was there for lunch and it was just in the same plaza, I decided to get it there. And I am very much regretting that decision. I mean, how hard can it be to get a returning envelope??? When I told them I need a returning envelope for a VISA of my passport from the consulate in Miami, they were acting like that had no idea what I was talking about and kept saying "Can we do this??". Then they asked me for the address of the sender. I understand that they need to estimate a price for the envelope, but on the official website, it says leave sender's address blank and have the receiver's address filled. So I showed them the requirements and also showed them the address of the consulate. Then they told me I could only have it sent to the UPS store. As you can imagine I was quite vexed. If I need to come pick it up at the UPS store, why don't I just pick it up at the consulate? That makes literally no sense. They were like "we don't know the actual weight of it when they mail it to you." It's just a passport?? How heavy could it be?? Even if the consulate is mailing a heavier weight, you could still refuse to delivery it unless I pay COD, I would understand your situation. But now you are assuming that I'm lying about the actual weight of what the envelope would be?? Additionally, it's from the consulate, they do the same job every single day. Why are you assuming they would mail a heavier weight for a passport? Are you telling me the consulate doesn't have a good reputation? Ok you don't trust me, and you don't trust the consulate. Fine. Good luck with your business. I will never come back to this store at all and I will never recommend to my friends. If I could give them 0/5 star I would not even give them 1!!!! You need to take all this money you are charging to ship a passport and invest in retraining your employees!! read more

This UPS Team delivers amazing service! I have been a customer for over ten years and have always found the Team to be super friendly, efficient and quick. It is obvious that quality customer service is a priority for Management! If you need a PO Box, shipping, notary services, etc., I HIGHLY recommend the store! There have been times where I have had to use another UPS location for various reasons (both personal & work related) and have pretty much been very disappointed in the service received at those locations ... My son was moving from Boca Raton to Virginia & we were facing a time crunch. I flew down to help him pack his belongings & the 2 of us drove his small sports car from Florida to Va. We knew we would need to ship some of his things because of the size of his car. I called Dave at the 2nd Street UPS store and BOY was he friendly, helpful & knowledgeable! He quoted me a price for shipping a large suitcase filled with clothes, explained exactly how the process would work and also discussed possible options for shipping a 65" TV if we needed to do that. When my son & I arrived at the UPS store we were greeted & assisted by Mylena. She was also very friendly & helpful. The suitcase arrived exactly when it was supposed to in perfect condition (we opted to buy the suitcase shipping box available in the store). I would definitely recommend this location!! read more
