My wife and I often come here when we need documents notarized before traveling. Most of the time, the service is fast, and the staff is friendly and professional. Recently, we had an issue with one of our documents and needed to come back. Amir (hopefully I'm spelling his name correctly) took the time to explain exactly what I needed, what could have been done differently, and went above and beyond to help us get everything sorted out correctly. You can come to this store as long as you don't get the lady with the short blond hair and glasses with an attitude that was there this am. I was doing an Amazon return, which I have done a gazillion times. The woman stated that I had to purchase a box to return my item when the Amazon return clearly stated UPS will pack and ship and label your items at no cost. The item is in the manufacturers box but not a "shipping" box and she refused to pack it even though the label stated they need to pack it. I'm off to the much friendlier store on Hillsboro. UPDATE: went to the store on Hillsboro and the amazing Aamir (review for his store to follow). Not only very kindly, without attitude and without being condescending and try to "educate" me - gave me a polyphmane bag and reprinted the label and let me know that because they had already scanned the package at this store, that I would have to come back to this store to drop it off. At this point, my less than courteous store opener that I dealt with previously had left the store - according to the person that received my package. Won't be coming back here. Stood in line before lunchtime and there were two customers being served by two workers. The one woman (piercing between her nostrils, lip piercing) was slow moving. I'm not criticizing her appearance; this is just for clarity in case you walk into the store. I was second in line behind another person. In the fifteen minutes I was waiting, there was one more person served. Then all of a sudden she announced "you can self-scan and check out if you have a package". Me and two other people jumped out of line to do this at the station behind us. The point here is the workers should keep an eye out for people with pre-paid packages with labels already on them! The direct them accordingly. Very aggravating and we were not pleased. read more

This review is for the Military trail office in Deerfield Beach. I recently moved. It's holiday season and I have been receiving lots of packages. One package I received I opened and realized it was for the resident before me, a medical device. UPS left a note on my door for pickup, I wasn't home. I brought it to this store and dealt with someone named Aaron but his badge said Rishond. I gave him the ups pick up slip and explained it is for the tenant before me. All he had to do was return to sender but he kept insisting it would be sent back to me. I left and left it with him and to my luck there was a UPS driver outside. I did not get his name, but he was so nice and agreed he would take the package and return to sender. I go back in the store and ask to retrieve the package. Aaron/Rishond hands it back but it's missing the UPS sticker left on my door for pick up. He then argues with me there was nothing on the package. Blatant lie because he looked up the bar code number and insisted it would be sent back to my address. It's the holidays it doesn't cost anything to be nice. The lying is what really let me know what he was all about. He should NOT be in customer service! read more

The location is very convenient for me so I go frequently. Today, my package needed some tape reinforcement and the man who helped me said he had to charge me for whatever extra tape it needed!!! What??? That surprised me, so I asked to speak to a manager. Eileen was very helpful and explained that the store is individually owned and they have their guidelines to follow. She was very nice and as a courtesy, she reinforced my package at no additional charge ... this time only she said!! Regardless, thank you Eileen!! read more

I visited January 28. My need was slight, as all I had to do was drop off a box. The associate who serviced me said next time to tape it myself. I found that a little strange, but I supposed they do not want to be held liable if something is missing. He was friendly about it. The associates seemed chipper & all generally appeared to want to be there. This should be a given, but I went into other UPS stores before and it was not like that and I know how it feels to be a working class fellow. I was a little surprised it was crowded on a Tuesday @ about 3P, but I was in an out. I am stunned said stores stay in business, but clearly people still have the need. I moved to Coral Springs from Deerfield but I still go back to this store because they are so good. I tried Coral springs on sample road but they were not good there. If I could give this place zero stars I would give them zero stars. This has has to be one of the worst UPS stores I have ever been to in my life first off I came yesterday to drop off a package and it apparently required a box. They had 15 empty boxes sitting right there and you think they would even offer a box. No she wanted to charge me six dollars for a box then today I go back with my box and it wasn't completely taped and she said she was going to charge me 250 to tape the box close. I have been going to the UPS stores in Coral Springs and Tamarac for the last two years and have never encountered anything like this location. Coral Springs is always so accommodating and will help with the boxes if they have any empty ones and always put the customer first this place wants to charge you for everything. I'm surprised they allow you to even do returns there without charging you a fee to touch the package. I will never go back into this establishment. I would rather drive all the way to Coral Springs , then to go back in here. Worst UPS ever stay away. I guarantee you will be aggravated when you leave here. read more

I go here about once a week. I've seen them spend a lot of time helping folks pack items and ship them. I go to return things from Amazon and I just need them to scan my return code and I'm out the door. There is a self service machine that is handy to use when all the employees are busy. There is parking at the door which is handy for me as I have chronic back pain. I think this UPS store is great. read more

I went in as I needed to mail two letters off for my work. I had the labels printed but didn't have the standard envelopes that UPS has. The guy advised that it would be $1.88 a piece. I was shocked. Went there to send an item. Told the guy I needed a box to ship it.. He took like 2 minutes trying to measure my item..(difficult task) then said he had a box that fits and the price would be $19 and some change to ship The manager started helping and I said "fine lets ship it..It was taking Way TOO LONG to get a simple task accomplished. The manager went on about her way and the guy just starred at the screen like it was all but too new to him.. then says with the box it will be $48.79! I said "$25 for a BOX?!?!?" Then the manager asked whats wrong?, I told her $25.00 for a BOX? She said well thats for a box and service. I'm thinking..How HARD IS IT to put MY ITEM into a box and seal it? It cost more for the box then it deos to ship the item! (Mind you, I'm shipping an item that COST me $20) but was willing to pay $20 to ship it.. but $25.00 for a box is rediculous. She agreed to waive the cost of the box for my "inconvenience" but to rip customers off like that is ridiculous. Then she (the Manager) and one of the female coworkers looked at me like I was an Alien! As if "How dare you speak out on our outrageous prices" I don't like being ripped off. And the manager had a lame non caring attitude. Even though she took back the crazy charge she still had an attitude like I was the enemy... NOBODY would spend $25.00 on a small box. My iten was only 12x4x4... It was an insult to the public what they are trying to charge people. As I left I told them I might never use their store again. I have been going to that location for about 10 years..Sad.. they assume its YOU that has the attitude... but the customer knows what kind of service they deserve but when someone make people upset them looks at them as the bad guy for speaking on it instead of just taking it and being ripped off is insane. THE CONSUMER DOESN'T DESERVE THAT TREAMENT NOR ATTITUDE! read more

When I mean I have NEVER, EVER, had such bad costumer service. I purchased an extremely expensive Apple iPad, thinking It would've been in good hands with UPS, boy was I wrong! I called two times, both individuals were cocky and outrageously disrespectful. I called a third time to a nice gentleman who understood me, thank you. When I bought it I entered my apartment number and all when the man tells me there hasn't even been a shipping label made for my package. It says it was out for delivery at 4:30 AM. I needed a notary that would notarize estate documents. This is the only store within 5 miles of me that would do it. As usual they were busy, but there were very organized and help all of the customers including getting my documents notarized. I was in awe of how they all worked together to take care of each customer quickly and efficiently. read more

When I realized that I needed to get legal documents in the mail immediately, right at the end of the workday, I called the UPS Store in a panic. Ilene answered and assured me it was possible, were I to come in right away. Just a few minutes away from my job, I headed over. Not only was Ilene able to print my documents quickly, but she had everything notarized and in the mail before the last shipment went out. It was crazy, but she made it happen! This UPS store in Deerfield on Military and 10th St. is the best!! The employees are always friendly and helpful especially Jeremy. He remembers the regulars and asks if he can assist with anything else. He helped me last month with an issue I had with ATT. Sometimes I am just dropping off pre-paid packages to be returned to Amazon. No matter what it is, he always pays attention to details. He has excellent customer service skills and I told his manager that this reflects on her also. If I owned a business I would want an employee like him. It appears they recently changed ownership. They used to be fabulous. After years of going there, it was sad to see what it's become. Poor customer service. The folks behind the counter seemed bothered to have to wait on customers. The fees have sky rocketed... not sure if it's this location, or UPS in general. Almost exactly a year ago, I shipped a very large/heavy box that I needed help bringing in from my car - it was that heavy. The cost to ship that box was $38.00 Today, I went in and shipped (1) DVD and (1) average hard cover book to the same address... it cost over $40.00 for the same ground service. It's a shame when a neighborhood store goes down the tubes like this. I will not return. read more
