    I visited January 28. My need was slight, as all I had to do was drop off a box. The associate who serviced me said next time to tape it myself. I found that a little strange, but I supposed they do not want to be held liable if something is missing. He was friendly about it. The associates seemed chipper & all generally appeared to want to be there. This should be a given, but I went into other UPS stores before and it was not like that and I know how it feels to be a working class fellow. I was a little surprised it was crowded on a Tuesday @ about 3P, but I was in an out. I am stunned said stores stay in business, but clearly people still have the need. It is a fine establishment.

    My review extends beyond this location, but, unfortunately as this location dropped the last ball…read morethis is where I am leaving my review. I had an important package scheduled for delivery which originated at this hub. It was supposed to be delivered Friday. I logged into MyUPS app in the morning and there was no indication that a signature was required - I always make the proper arrangements when a signature is required. The delivery attempt was made while I was away from my home and the reason for non-delivery stated a delivery was needed. Fine. I call the local office which was supposed to receive my package and they tell me the hub won't make a delivery until the following business day which would have been Saturday on a next-day delivery. I call this hub and do not get anyone on the phone. I call the 800 number and they tell me that next-business day on next-day packages is Monday. I say the package is important and necessary for work and asked if I could pick it up at the hub. They tell me I can and make the necessary changes. They tell me to arrive no later than 5pm. Half an hour following my call to the 800 number, I get a call back stating that I would need to be there before 7pm, not 5pm. Perfect, more time to rearrange my day. Around 6pm, I start heading over to this location and get a call from a team member who actually works at the location. I tell her I am on my way and she tells me that I shouldn't be on my way because they're supposed to call me before I go. I apologize and tell her what the 800 number told me, and she rudely tells me I am not listening to her and to do what she says. She tells me the truck is running late and that I should be there before 7pm but the truck won't be in before 7:30pm. She told me if I get there at 7, I can wait until the truck arrives. Not the best situation, but fair enough. I get to the location and I tell the front desk rep about my conversations with multiple people. I give her the tracking number and she doesn't say a word to me, she just points at the screen. When I ask what that means, she tells me that the package won't be there until the following day. I get upset and I tell her that I literally just received a call and I was asked to be there before 7pm. She walks away - presumably to speak with the person who calls me - and comes back and tells me the truck was sent back out by the supervisor and that if I am there after 7:30pm, they will escort me out. I was livid and had to make another 50 mile round trip the following morning to pick up a package that should have been delivered to my home Friday afternoon. The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because that last representative ensured that when I arrived Saturday morning, my package was ready to go.

    One of the local UPS drivers that takes off from this location was supposed to pick up a very large…read morepackage at my house and he just blew by my house according to my ring Cam and he had the audacity to state that he attempted to pick up the package. So I'm going down to this location on Monday and I will speak to a supervisor and show them the video.. I can't wait to see what their response is

    The hires at this store, in my opinion, may be DEI or Visa program hires; for example, H1-B1 visa…read morehires. This is unacceptable and immoral. To add, UPS has a history of using visa program hires. When this store first opened, they ran a promotion asking that customers give them 5 stars on google reviews. This is why this store is so highly rated on google reviews. While the customer service now is acceptable, when the store first opened it was not. Although I don't like the fact that the USPS uses my tax payer money to operate, the idea of DEI or visa program hires at this UPS store makes me reluctant to spend my money there.

He assisted me with my packaging and helped resolve a very simple issue that could have been resolved at the first store I had been to on SW 10th. The difference was that Aamir was service centric, kind, and solution based while the other employee at the other store was condescending, spoke to me as if I were one of her children on front of other customers when I was doing a self serve per her request and was just overall unhelpful. This is my second time at this UPS and it his will be my go to on a go forward. They are kind, respectful, welcoming, and really willing to help. Great service, great price and great people. They have everything that you could need from a UPS store and more and I highly recommend. How you treat people matters and that's why I'm changing to this store going forward.
