I visited May 5. I needed 35 pages scanned and emailed to myself. I went to the copy center and waited a few moments. The associate who helped me was accumulating, and offered me a coupon covering 30 of the 35 pages to be scanned for COVID-19 relief. It only cost $5 for this easy task. It was quickly tended to and I left.the store. So, why the negative review? This all begs the question, would this have cost close to $40 including tax if not for COVID-19? It would have, just to complete a task that took less than a moment of time. That is ridiculous. This review is also for all the grossly overpriced items at this establishment. I stay far away for shopping here, but had to that day due to a few circumstances. Do not shop here unless absolutely necessary. The prices are atrocious. read more

If I could give this store a zero I would I came in to print important documents for work it was my first time printing out something like this I asked not one, not two but THREE people for help and none of them helped me I had to make conversation with a fellow customer and she helped me afterwards I called to give my review of the store and say how poorly I was treated as a customer and the manager that picked up the phone was not sympathetic and did not apologize for the lack of service and professionalism the staff had i do not recommend this Office Depot at all pls go else where read more

Office Depot online is a terrible business. Twice I ordered a legal two drawer file cabinet and twice I waited a week after the date of supposed deliver and the file was a no show. Office Depot never refunded me for either cabinet. Customer service is completely unhelpful and incompetent. So Office Depot owes me over $600 for two products that never showed up. Do not use Office Depot. They are a very dishonest company! read more

I was there as soon as they opened to ask for help with some urgent blue prints I had already paid for online and the young lady at the printing department did not want to help at all. She had just arrived to work and started brushing me off as soon as I asked for help. I asked to at least check my status in the system and she just continually kept saying no and that she couldn't do anything. Horrible experience and will never go back to this store again read more

I don't know who wins the top rudest employee that works there award. It's really a tie between the guy who stood on his phone and ignored everyone, or the girl in photocopy that said " I'm leaving right after this gentleman and pointed to the next guy in line , basically dismissing everyone else as not there. Or maybe she just doesn't know who to be nice, but I do know she didn't even help the lady she spent 20 mins in the line with for nothing but to tell her to come back tomorrow, but" they will probably look at her like she has 3 heads". Fantastic experience! First, I easily found item on website and was able to quickly find local store that carried it. The McNab store had it in stock as promised on website. Staff person greeted me and asked if I needed help. I gave her item number and she said she'd get it from back and bring it to the register. The cashier Rebecca told me I couldn't place my printing order & pay for it when I picked it up. I came back when I was available with the money, another younger nicer woman cashed me out and took my order. I came to pick it up and Rebecca tried to cash me out again even though she said orders couldn't be placed without payment. So why was she trying to cash me out for an order that had already been placed and completed if she wasn't able to make the order without payment like she said the first time I was there. Her name tag was upside down and ultimately was no help at all. She made my trip to Office Depot to pickup my order longer than it needed to be because she began to enter the order to cash me out until I asked what it was that she was doing and informed her I had already paid for the order.... Office Depot is a fine place to shop and I will say the younger girl who was working was 10x friendlier and quicker at what she was doing than Rebecca was. read more

Rebecca was the opposite from helpful at my trips to Office Depot. First trip she told me she couldn't place a printing order without payment. I came back with payment and placed the order with a younger girl who was much friendlier, much more helpful and a ton quicker than Rebecca. I came back to pick up my order. The younger girl clearly remembered me I only saw her once. Rebecca acted like she didn't remember me but her and I interacted more on my first visit than I did w the younger girl. Rebecca took her time when retrieving my order and tried to cash me out even though she said at my Initial visit she couldn't place an order without payment. So I'm wondering why miss Rebecca tried to cash me out for an order that was placed and done when she made it seem like the order couldn't be placed without payment. I had to ask her what she was doing when picking up my order when it was taking unusually long. read more

Went during the day and instead of taking 45 minutes like it did last time they told me to come back later in the day because "it was too much work to do immediately". Asked them to trim and laminated 15 copies for me. When I got back all the copies weren't properly trimmed and was told if they fixed it'd cost extra and I couldn't fix the ones I had because it'd ruin them. Once I accepted the result and got home I realized that they had charged me for the full 15 but only gave me 10. I don't believe they got anything right on my order. read more

A woman was confused on how to use the printer, so she asked an employee in that department how it works, the response she was given was basically "the directions are right there, figure it out." The woman tried to figure it out but was visibly struggling. And then another customer stepped into help her figure it out. That's sad when a customer is doing an employee's job. I just had a terrible experience at your Deerfield beach store in Florida number 2692! Your employee Rebecca is about the rudest employee and across! I have been in I went in to the store at 7:45, we needed one print the guy at the print department so very nice and helpful even told me what a nice picture, he was in the process of proving it nasty woman ran over and yelled at him when I said he had time she yelled at me! I couldn't believe it I could never see anything like that before, I could see how bad he felt she was so very very nasty. But if you read your reviews you will see her name come up other times. Have to give props to Office Depot in Deerfield (Hillsboro and Federal). The customer service manager Mike rocks! I ordered a chair yesterday online for pickup at another local location. A while later they called to tell me they did not have it in stock...even though the website told me they did. They cancelled my order. I did however get them to call another store for me. That landed me in Deerfield Beach to get the same chair. However, since i used an online coupon they could not apply it to the order. Mike, being the nicest manager, offered me another coupon instead. It was for $25 off (instead of the $10 i originally used). Got the chair home and put it together. I sat in it declaring it extremely comfortable. Then i realized one of the adjustment levers was broke..... Called Mike and he told me don't worry. He will find another chair for me. They didn't have one in stock so he went out of his way on his way home from work last night to pick one up from another store and even put it together for me. He called this morning to tell me it was all ready to be picked up. When I arrived he carried in the broken chair and carried out the new chair to my car! If I could give this store negative stars I would. This review is for the Print Center only. I have been in the print center maybe half a dozen times. I stuck with it because it's very close to my job. However they have the worst customer service I have ever seen. There will be a line of people and the employees won't even acknowledge the people waiting. If you ask a question, they seem annoyed they have to help you. Their printers are normally broken, so even if you do self service you still can't get in and get out because you can't find the items you printed. Save yourself the headache and either buy a printer online (like I finally did) or head to the Staples down the road in pompano/lighthouse pointe area. read more

I have never until this store had a store employee follow me out the door when I didn't purchase anything. They asked me why I didn't purchase anything, like they were doing a survey and when I told them I didn't find the right size box I needed, he proceeded to pester me about it. I didn't want what I found there, which is why I walked out in the first place! It was ridiculous and weird. I felt like I was being stalked. I've notice Office Depot does this a lot inside the store, where they try to be super attentive and ask everyone multiple times if you can be helped, but it's way overboard and following a customer out the door asking why you didn't buy anything is just flat out ridiculous! I'll be going to Staples from now on, as they had plenty more box options and none of the employees followed me around. read more
