I am very disappointed with this UPS branch. I dropped off my package at this store, and after 5 days, when I checked the status, it still showed that the package was at the store. I went back to ask about it, and they told me I should call customer service and file a claim myself because, even though I dropped it off there, it was not their responsibility. However, when I called UPS customer service, they told me the store should file the claim on my behalf. So I went back to the store again. Thankfully, the manager was there and was very kind and helpful. He listened to my request and asked one of the employees to take care of the rest. I waited there for almost 20-30 minutes, and the employee told me he had filed the claim and that I should call customer service in two weeks to check the status of the investigation. Yesterday, I called customer service, and they told me that no claim had ever been filed. I find this very irresponsible and frustrating. This whole experience has been disappointing, and I expected much better communication and accountability from this branch. read more

Kind of a weird location, but also probably pretty smart to be here. Not sure I know of any other packaging locations in the area. They have a good selection of all the packaging supplies you'd need to send out that overnight document or the next package to the grandparents. Obviously, there is a fee for boxes and envelopes, but they are in line with what you would pay at other package stores/USPS so I'd say that they are reasonable on prices. Also, if you need copies, they have several copy machines available so you can get duplicates of those important documents. Staff was friendly and greeted me and asked if they could help me with anything. Wouldn't hesitate to use this location again in the future. read more

Given there are a couple locations across the city all about the same distance I prefer this one. There's parking in the lot directly behind it. Sometimes there's someone guiding you where to park. Terrible service. If you are able to please visit another UPS. Short staffed and the staff that is here is very rude. Stood in line for about 10 minutes and watched the cashier walk past and blatantly ignore me while taking care of guest that came in after. I only had a question about notary service and by the time I was acknowledged I was told that despite having the service listed they do not do it and could not find out what location does. This is my second bad experience at this location. I'm not exactly a fan of USPS but they are right up the street and definitely less hassle. Also on door are not the hours that they keep. This store is pretty conveniently located downtown. Sadly, that also means parking is not convenient AT ALL. The easiest place to park is behind the store, but even that lot can get full sometimes. You can quickly and easily miss the hill that leads to the back lot. Have fun turning around and coming back if it is during rush hour traffic! The store itself is nice and well maintained. The staff are always quick to assist, very friendly, and make sure I feel like a valued customer. I've never had an issue at this store. read more

I almost never leave bad reviews but this store is the exception. While I can't speak on their shipping services, the print shop portion seems like none of their employees have ever been trained on how to use the machines there (if the machines are even working that day), and never really seems like anything is operating smoothly despite being a relatively slow location. The employees and manager could also definitely use a lesson on how to be polite to customers as well. read more

I was willing to purchase shipping supplies but the young man (very nice) suggested we use what I had. I was sent a return code by the company. He scanned the code and printed it off for me. I was a customer for 2 and half years . I had an employee basically be rude and unaccomdiational..and then tell me they didn't care about the job they do. This is suppose to be for professional services.. yet there is no NOTARY BEEN LIED TO FOR 2 years .No one is trying to become one . Area manager is racist and unprofessional. Did not respond in email , so I went to cooperate office with complaint . She closed my POST OFFICE BOX . FOR THAT IM SUEING for a long list l of things . The back door is in accessible after hours . you have no option to check mail,after hours . They are more concerned about 1 min parking Then they are about you information being exposed . I never write reviews but this location is absolutely horrible. I walked in and three of the workers were chilling on the window on their phones and the forth was sleeping and snoring so loud it was alarming. I had two pictures I needed printed (something that I've had done in less than 2 minutes previously) but this time I waited 20 minutes while the man helping me went to his laptop and proceeded to play on his cellphone. Then when they came out of the printer they were the wrong direction and he then tells me after waiting that whole time that the color printer is actually out of order today...... read more

This is the closest UPS Store location to my home, but I always avoid it because I thought the only parking was street parking out front (and I'm a terrible parallel parker- ask my BF)! UPS signed me up for My Choice, and because they were unable to get past the gate, the didn't attempt to deliver a package a 2nd (or 3rd) time, and automatically dropped off at this UPS store.. Grrrr.... FORCING me to come here to get my package or else it would be returned to sender. Ughhh... So last night I was circling the block waiting for someone to leave 20th street (never happens), when I glanced and noticed a lot BEHIND the store. I did a circle, and found a lot behind the store (and other stores in 5 points). Now, the lot was full, and people were parked in a number of made up spots, but I finally found one, and entered fhe store from the back entrance. My package was ready, and I was able to leave without any problems. the employee was friendly helping me and other customers. Will this be my go-to UPS location? Probably not. But if UPS decides to send another package to this location, I'll be a lot less stressed about parking now knowing about the lot! read more

It's Tuesday afternoon and I've got to 4 shirts to return to Amazon. I had an appointment downtown so i decided I'd send them off from this particular UPS store as opposed to my usual location. Now while the store is spacious, parking is in the back and the attention to social distancing was very well enforced, I was saddened at the manager Erica's lack of understanding of a simple shipping procedure. Amazon does free shipping on most of their ups returns and Erica tried to charge me for the return. After I protested about her oversight she suggested that I go to a different ups store and called me miss. No one is filled with more toxic masculinity than I am so I was a little insulted. Anyway, I just left my normal UPS store and they shipped my items off no problem. I sincerely hope that UPS sees this review and decides to better train Erica for job she has but is clearly unqualified for. The newer worker however, she was great. She was attentive and had much more patience in trying to figure out what the proper shipping methods was. She is the reason I am giving this store 2 stars and not 1. read more

The UPS store staff are always so professional yet they make you feel like you are old friends at the same time. I have used this location for many returns and the whole process is made super easy and relaxing. The staff have always been friendly, calm, and informative! They never make you feel like you are annoying them or asking a stupid question which is nice in the service industry. I will stick to this location for all of my printing and shipping needs. Very helpful when it comes to printing! Especially for those of us who can't keep a printer at home because the ink would go to waste. The people here were very sweet and willing to help. Brought my files on a USB drive, and they were printed and ready to go within minutes. After having an account at this UPS Store for several years, yesterday they charged me for 400 pages of printing for the 150 printed pages I received. When I called, the manager said that I had been charged for each time they pushed the print button and some of them just didn't print. You read that correctly, they charged me for each time they TRIED to print a page. The manager and her staff did not apologize for the mistake nor even take responsibility. She just said that's the way it is and there is nothing they intend to do about it. The UPS Store in the Frank Nelson Building will be getting my business from now on. read more

Although I live all the way in Trussville, this location is my "go to" when I want something done impeccably. Everytime I come in there, Anna or Erica are ready to help. I've shipped items all over the nation and every-time the package arrives, the buyer tells me how pleased they are with the speed of the delivery and the condition of the item. I've seen a few complaints about the parking for this location and I can honestly say that I've NEVER had a problem finding parking in front of the store or in the designated area behind the store. I brought in two of Highlands Bar & Grill's James Beard Award winning coconut cakes to ship and I thought this would be next to impossible to successfully send. I guess I'm just used to the UPS store back home. This store was kind of annoying frankly. I have to ship items on a weekly basis for work so I'm familiar with the procedures and the box sizes, etc. I went in to ship some work materials home from a trade show, I asked for a specific size box (I reuse them for shipping items back out). The employee told me No, you don't know your sizes and brought out something else. I again asked for the same size box and explained that I reuse them. He went in the back with my items. Came out with everything boxed up...IN THE WRONG SIZE BOX! He apparently felt the need to show me up. Then when checking me out he couldn't figure out why I was sending something to myself. I shouldn't have to explain everything that I'm doing to send a package, he already knew I was out of town! Last but not least he gave me the info, 2 days for ground shipping would be there by Thursday. I said perfect. He then began to question would I be there to deliver because I shouldn't be sending things if I wouldn't be there. Again, none of your freaking business, just ship my freaking package! So I will not be going back to this store location. Not to mention it took half an hour to get the 3rd degree about shipping 1 box. I still get annoyed just remembering the situation. read more
