Tracey from PIT quoted me over the phone after giving her the model number. She told me this price over the phone was a guesstimate but it gave me a ballpark to work with. I sat on that knowledge for several more months and decided to just do it, but because it had been so long I had forgotten what shop I had called. So, I got on Google reviews and called the first shop that came up; the man who answered was extremely short with me and disrespectful when I explained that I had been given a quote earlier. I am SO GLAD I followed my instinct and continued calling. AS SOON AS Tracey answered I knew it was the RIGHT place! Soooo, I was told it'd be probably a week after drop off, which made me laugh because what was another week? I dropped it off on a Wednesday, she called later and gave me the price after they checked it out, I approved it and BAMMM, I picked it up on Friday. Only one full day of wait time. My older computer was completely wiped out and wouldn't even bring anything up. After I asked what happened to it, Ryan proceeded to yell that I had brought it in that way. Nick had turned it on when I brought it in. Then I asked to speak to the owner. Ryan continued with his attitude that the owner wasn't there, and he wasn't giving me his number. I told him I grew up with the owner. He went to get him. Then the owner got frustrated because I did not want to bring my only working computer in to them to try again. Then he started yelling and he and Ryan both stormed out. The owner did have someone call and apologize and say they would try and make it right, but it was such an unsettling experience, I would never go back in there alone. I would have never known until I got home that my old computer wasn't working if I hadn't turned it on there. They said I have brought my computers there for years, which I have. They have always put the programs on eventually, or I wouldn't have kept going back. Besides the yelling, the fact they never told me the computer wasn't working anymore was very disappointing. So they apologized, but it was such a bad experience that I will never set foot in that place again.

It's…read morewhere my grandparents and parents always went so when it came time for me to propose to my girlfriend I went to Buttermores. I went over my budget because I wanted the best quality I could get and thats what Buttermore promised me. Instead my now wife hasn't had the ring a year yet and 4 diamonds have fallen out. 5 months after I purchased it a diamond fell out so I sent it back paid my own shipping and they fixed. Two weeks later the same diamond fell out again only a few weeks before our wedding! I wasn't happy the first time but hey things happens, but the same diamond falling out again 2 weeks later. Buttermores reimbursed me for the second time I shipped it up to them to fix, but refused to reimburse me for the first time saying that "it wasn't their fault I moved out of town". That may be true it's not their fault I moved, but it is their fault their product was not quality and no one should have to pay shipping for a faulty product. A month and a half later, a different diamond fell out so I called again, and not only did they try to say it must be something my wife is doing to the ring they were very rude on the phone. Before I had a chance to ship it back, another bigger diamond fell out as well. At this point Buttermore told me they need to ship it out and get the whole ring remounted which is admitting they provided me with a faulty product which they still would not verbally admit or pay for any of the shipping. They said it would take two weeks to remount the ring and they had it almost two months. They never called to inform me about the status of the ring, after a month and a half of waiting, I called them. One of the phone calls I made to check in on the ring, since they weren't keeping me updated, they snapped at me saying "we don't know" and refused to find out, that I would just have to wait. Buttermore Customer Service is horrendous. I am extremely disappointed and regret my decision to purchase my wife's ring there. They do not communicate, speak kindly to, or take care of their customers. I will not buy anything from Buttermores from here on out and neither will my family who all still lives in the Mid-Ohio Valley and has purchased from them before. My wife should not have had to be without her engagement ring for 3 out of the 10 months of me giving it to her.

The lady who assisted me treated me like I wasn't worth her time and informed me that "priority is given to their 'real' customers" so she couldn't commit to when my ring could get resized. Further, when I asked if there was a jeweler on staff who could look at one of my rings to give me an opinion on the stone, she said, "Well I'm not going to get Mr. Buttermore out of the back just for that." She looked at it herself, gave me a grim assessment, casually insulted me, and then recommended that I go to another jeweler whilst casually insulting them as well. As much as I like to support local businesses, I won't be back. The people at several jewelers in the mall were infinitely more helpful and professional... including the girl at the pop up kiosk.

One of the local celebrities (Mike Todd) I follow on Twitter was sent a mask early on in COVID that was made by The Fabric Shop. It was an awesome Ohio University mask. I reached out to the shop by telephone and they were willing to charge me over the phone and ship me a mask. The customer service was phenomenal. The mask arrived quickly and they did not gouge me on pricing for either the mask or the shipping. It was extremely reasonable. During this entire pandemic the only mask I used was my awesome Bobcat mask until I lost it last week. I quickly called up The Fabric Shop and they of course gave me the same service as before. The employee let me know that they use whatever OU fabric they have on hand so the pattern of the mask may be different. I told her it did not bother me at all as long as it was still an Ohio University mask. And for this order I went ahead an ordered two just in case I carelessly lose one again. Though I did hold on to the first one for 9 months straight. Pretty good I think. My masks just arrived yesterday and I love the fabric even more. As oppose to white before, this time the main color is green with the Attack Cat. They are perfect. Such a great fit for my face. Now it is pay 1.00 for 10 minutes even if you don't need that long. No signs on the new systems. I picked 10 minutes for .50 and was forced to pay twice .50 for 20 minutes. This business appears to want to take advantage of its customers. At the very least, put of signs on how the pay system works now.
