I have a lot of mailing that I do at this place, at least 2-3 times per week. So, thought I'd use their notary service. The woman, Colleen, was extremely weird about notarizing my signature. She called the document "shady" and it came directly from a federal credit union. She said multiple times, not in a quiet or polite way, that this document was shady. I told her the bank sent to me to have my name notarized. Gave her my local DL and even more info than she needed to know about the situation & she was quite rude and nasty. It was just so unprofessional that it shocked me, especially since they see me all the time in that store. I don't know that I ever, ever want to step foot in that store again. Living in ATL Beach, it is so convenient. But, so not worth the ugly that I had to put up with for her to look at my DL and watch me sign a document, put her notary on it. I shipped a textbook back to the company and used this UPS Store. The company never received the textbook and the UPS store could not have been less helpful. First time ever I had to stop to an UPS store to check with receipts my two tracking numbers: where are my two packages I sent two weeks ago with them ! The packages were packed by them: I pay for the service but never saw them closing the box because I believed in UPS! Yesterday the manager was aggressively asking me to call USPS- so they offer me delivery services without explaining to me were USPS packages! Apparently as manager say: we offer USPS courtesy service but we are not responsible of the items! OMG! So I asked the manager : the packages , when you check the track number read: Label is made, waiting to be mailed!!!!!! So they never sent my two packages !!!!!! OMG! The manager even ask me what was inside the box!!!! Do for me a favor go to another UPS, very scary the way they work there! So I said to manager : maybe the box got lost here can you check, and he looks suspicious, saying , I am not sure! ‍. Crazy ! The mail is an strict business that can be investigate by Federal government! read more

I was on this side of town and needed to get a gift mailed. So I stopped by. The parking was tight and not great. I walked in and no one was in line. So I took my package up. The lady working said she was helping another customer who had to go back outside to get his items. So I fell back in line. I got my $10 gift mailed, it cost me $11! Staff are not friendly or helpful at all. Think I'll go elsewhere next time. read more

Parking can be a thing but overall, staff has always been friendly and I've never had a problem getting my packages. In fact, there have been times where they help me carry large items to my car. I don't even have to ask! And that type of customer care is greatly appreciated in my book! I recommend this UPS. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Been going there for years but the last two times I've been in there it has been unpleasant enough for me to never set a foot in there again. They've started charging a minimum of $4 to use the computer, on top of the fee to print anything just because they can I guess. When I asked about this because I had never been charged extra before, she gives me this snotty response that they've always done that which from personal experience I know for a fact is not true. She must have learned her customer service skills from the owner who is just as rude, saying he's not going to argue with me and that's just the way it isI will happily drive across the beach and go to FedEx where they are polite and understand the importance of customer service. Mega fail UPS, get your store together. Update: the owner sent me a snarky reply to my comments. Such a good business man he is....profits apparently up by 13% yet still talking about increasing computer rental prices just because. He also either had employees not charging me behind his back or is flat out lying about there always being a $4 charge. And it's 10 cents to print at fed ex and they do it for you so he's really smart too. read more

UPS Is slightly more expensive than USPS but well worth it. Let's not forget the expressIon adore the staff at this particular location. Helpful, fun and great at packing fragile or big items I'm afraid of packing myself. Also my local post office is horrible and inefficient .I'll take this efficient well run business over the government run Post Office any day. And they are open on Sunday! read more

Had to have some documents notarized. Store was clean, welcoming and organized. The staff was friendly and efficient as well.

After an awful experience at flipping Fedex, I cancelled my Fedex ground and got better pricing and stellar customer service. I never use Fedex and was reminded very quickly why. The service was so terrible I bailed on a free provided label and paid for UPS ground out of pocket and could not be happier. When I went to UPS the guys could not have been cooler and even helped an out of towner with labels and packaging. Whereas at Fedex I received no support, broken machines, and an employee that just kept coughing with a mask hanging down below her chin not covering her mouth during a pandemic. Regardless of the situation, that's never ok. Thanks guys, I live in LA and the service is always the same; excellent at UPS, awful at freakin fedex. read more

They were very quick to assist They performed as we had hoped They provided us with extra copies of the notarized docs and we went across the street to drop it at the clerk of courts. TOO EASY!! They will get your package out but I always feel uncomfortable and use them as last resort. I will drive a few more miles for the UPS store on Beach&San Pablo. The owner is very moody and I never know what I'm going to meet when I walk in. The service they provide is expensive and I want and expect a smiling and friendly face! Overpriced for all services. I was charged $3 more for shipping inside the store over ordering online and printing my own label. The best part is, I dropped off the same package at this store and saved $3. When I made the owner aware of the difference he become rude and agitated that I didn't purchase from him and that I still brought my package to him. Then today I called and checked on a price of a box that is 12inch cubed, he wanted over $5 for the same box that cost less than .79 at Walmart. I do believe a business should make a fair profit but this guy has either bumped his head or has horrible supply lines. read more

Excellent, professional , treatment both on the phone and in person! I have used this branch in the past without complaint. I especially want to applaud and thank the manager A.J. Moreno. We were in Atlantic Beach under sad circumstances with a tight schedule to finish my mother's estate business. A.J. was sympathetic, helpful and willing to go the "extra mile" to see our needs were met in a timely fashion. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The owner, Peter Lostis, was very rude and lacked customer service. He just went off and yelled at me and called me a smart a** when I told him that the spelling of the country Philippines was wrong and should be corrected as I had to send the original documents and do not want it returned to sender. Instead of apologizing for his mistakes , he becane very confrontational and argumentatuve. He thinks that being a franchise owner gives him the right to demean his customers. There is word called Karma" and his bad behavior will get back to him. No wonder several customers had complained about him. If I could give zero stars I would . This establishment should not be in business. Being new to the area I did a search to find out the closest UPS store. It was Dec. 19th ,2013. We needed to mail a package and had a prepaid shipping document. WE really needed to be sure that the pkg would be delivered to my other son's apartment with a signature required stamp. The pkg was very valuable and the blond haired woman behind the counter rudely rudely rudely snapped at us that because it was prepaid the UPS guy could do whatever he wanted to and if he felt as though it was safe leaving it out in front of an apartment he would and added he probably would. I then addressed her with the following statement. "It's apparent by your lack of cooperation and rudeness that you are not making any money here. Her response was...you are right. My son whispered to me ...this is ridiculous mom , let's go. We went to Fed ex and I have been waiting to post a review ever since. Unless you wish to be disrespected and treated horribly do not go to this establishment. read more

I have given my business to this store many times, mostly because it is very conveniently located for me. And there is one young man, unfortunately I don't know his name, who is always very helpful and capable. However, today was a different story. I walked out of the store today - after waiting for about 10 minutes and having 2 other customers who arrived after me helped before me. I was never even acknowledged. I can only assume because I had several packages and no one wanted to be bothered with that much work. Very rude and poor customer service. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

These people are incredibly rude, including the horrible owner, who could really just give a crap about his customers apparently. I was really taken aback by his nasty attitude. Not one person tried to help me and just stood there watching me trying to wrestle with a heavy box. Peter Loftis, the owner, is a horrible business person!!!!! I actually called to track one of my packages that I mailed out on Monday that was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday.. Well on Wednesday, when the business did not receive the item I contacted the UPS store. When Peter Loftis answered the phone, he started to yell at someone walking out of the store, and actually told me to hold on, that he had to chase someone into the parking lot! Yes, yes he did. Then proceeds, while I am still on the phone hearing everything. When he finally gets back to me (which took a good minute) he really started to show his true character. I informed him about my package and that the business still hasn't received it. He told me that I decided to go the "cheap route" instead of using the UPS, so that I could save some money, and that it was shipped out as priority mail!!! Why would I go to the UPS store to have it go out regular mail? I live half a mile away from a post office.. if I wanted to use them I WOULD HAVE!!! AND save some money!!!! He told me that I was lying that no one informed me that it was going out as regular mail. I tried to tell him that when I walked into his store, that a young lady helped me. I told her that I have a dress that I need to send back, and asked how to go about it. She grabs an envelope for me and a shipping tag, I filled it out, and paid $9.95!!! For regular mail!!!! But before I could finish my story, he started to yell at me!!! I was in my work break room and put him on speaker for someone else to hear how badly I was being spoken to. Incredible that a so called business owner would speak to his patrons, ESPECIALLY a lady, in that matter AND tone of voice!!! I will never go back there ever EVER again. I also suggest that you take your business elsewhere to people that know how to treat their customers right!!! Very disgusted in you Peter Loftis... I hope you find Jesus one day.
