I just want to take a moment to shout out the amazing night crew at the UPS Store on Greenbrier. They truly went above and beyond for me. I came in to ship my family's Christmas package, and I had no idea that UPS and USPS can't ship travel-size hand sanitizers or body sprays and of course I had those in my box. Alyssa was the first one to let me know, but instead of just sending me away, she immediately offered to help me unpack everything so we could sort it out. She even connected with the night lead, Red who is always a whole vibe every time I come in. (Red and I always joke about our nicknames since she's Red and I'm Blue!) Red stepped in to help me find an alternative way to ship my package, and it actually came out cheaper than my original quote. Honestly, the entire night crew made what could've been a stressful situation feel easy and smooth. They could've easily told me they couldn't take the package and turned me away, especially during the busy holiday season, but instead they made sure my Christmas gifts would still make it to my family on time. I've always had great experiences at this location both for personal shipments and for my business but yesterday was truly the cherry on top. Huge thank you to Red, Allisa, Ren and Dustin. I use the UPS at Golden Springs often and wish to compliment Mr. Quan Mitchell an employee. I was experiencing difficulty with the return scan code; I thought I would have to make an additional trip home to get the needed information, however Mr. Mitchell intervened, stepped forward, smiled, greeted me and took over helping me. Within a minute, Mr. Mitchell reviewed the issue, thus accomplishing my return. This Youngman is everything an employee interfacing with the public should be and more! I operated a company for over 30 years whereby my employee's public interaction was the heart of our business. UPS has an official statement about COVID-19 and what guidelines they follow. Practice social distancing. Check. Perform regular disinfecting frequently touched surfaces. Negative. I was in the store today and the employee did not wear a face mask. Neither did many customers. The door or the credit card terminal was not cleaned/sanitized after used. Even after 5 customers. There was not disinfectant gel/lotion for customers. read more

I'm just glad this store wasn't located somewhere in BFE. I dropped off my prepackaged, addressed, UPS prepaid labeled box and I was out in a flash. The girl who handled my box was very nice and wished me a happy holiday. My box was received at its destination the next day and all was good in the universe. read more
